    growth factors are so powerful. I have used many different ones, and the best in my opinion are: #1 neogenesis recovery- super expensive, one of the few that is oncology approved. AMAZING for post procedure recovery if you can't afford to have this be a part of your regular routine. Getting the small size and using it after RF microneedling or fractional laser, etc. #2 calecim multi action cream. if you have troubles with laxity, jowling etc, this is what you need. Targeted towards lifting, and has given me a jawline lol. #3 reviv serums the ultimate serum- this is a "dupe" of skinmedica's growth factor serums TES and TNS. Most affordable growth factor product I have tried and it is just jam packed full of actives and stem cells. They have made improvements to the formula and dual chamber packaging several times while still keeping it $99. Wonderful serum and I recommend it to anyone new to growth factors. #4 osmosis stemfactor - it's very good but I feel like it works best in tandem with the rest of the osmosis system.

      Thank you for sharing this info. I'm trying to find a growth factor to microneedle with at home. Would u know what would be safe to use?

    • @mcduffster
      @mcduffster Рік тому +7

      @@TheTbee2 one to use while microneedling is Le Mieux EGF-DNA. It is a little more affordable than some other options, has a texture that stays slippy enough while using the microneedling pen (or dermaroller), and is more simple than some other options so that you aren't getting too many ingredients deep into the skin. I have used that one while needling dozens of times and it is lovely. Hope that helps! It was on sale recently for black friday but hopefully there are some christmas sales too.

      There is a book by Dr. Lance Setterfield that gives really good instructions. I want to say Dr. Setterfield suggest only high molecular weight hyaluronic acid day of microneedling and next day. On Day 2-3 you should be able to resume Retin A, Growth factors, Vit C, sunblock and everything else by day 5.

    You're better off wearing opaque plastic sun visors or leather or vinyl cowboy hats every time you're in the sun.Always wear them between noon and two p.m. when the sun is directly above your head and don't look up into the sun.Not even if you're wearing sunglasses and sunscreens because even the best sunscreen and sunglasses don't block out all of the sun's rays.

    Before and after microneedling (without RF) it’s said you stop retinol or retin A. How many days before and after?

      I believe 3 months. I remember going to a med spa to grate my adult acne and one of the questions where, “Have you used retinoids in the last 3 months?”

      I did microneedling without waiting for the 3 months off the isotretinoin, I didn’t see the treatment really work, was it because I didn’t wait 3 months?

    • @elizbeer
      @elizbeer Рік тому

      @@Michelle-ss8km No. It’s something between 10-15 days. On the other hand, one single session of microneedling isn’t enough , you do it as often as indicated by your dermatologist along with your skincare. I started with 3 sessions of MN with RF and since 2020 MN at home every 2 or 3 months.

    What are your professional thoughts on the Luna Sleeping Night Oil by Sunday Riley? It’s pricey, but I have honestly seen a difference in my skin tone when I use it if you can answer this comment that would be super awesome. I have just recently subscribe to your channel, I think you’re awesome😊

    Is this a sales pitch? The skin shrivels up without water as we are mostly water. It is not mentioned here. A good routine of at lease 2-3 Litres of free water is what keeps all the hydration and skin problems away and absolutely preventive, plus water keeps weight in check, flushing daily toxins helping the liver act more effectively. plus hats and sunglasses for those who cannot afford will these treatments aid prevent these problems. I agree with sun protection. Always. Careful how you pull your skin about Daily too! That doesn’t help matters. Nonsmoking nor alcohol. Those are skin wreckers.
