I was thinking the same thing, then you see people arguing over it being illegal there just because it is where they live.
I am jealous, we can't hunt from a road, or shoulder of a road in Texas. And the only turkey I have seen this spring are on the side of the roads.
Of course this only applies to public roads, private ones are a different story but even then you had better be sure it's private and not listed as a county road that passes through a ranch. Many were passing through several ranches at one time so for access they got made county roads and remain such technically even when it all becomes one ranch. Buddy of mine owns a ranch like that. It's a county road all the way into his ranch but doesn't look like it.
Know your states laws and ignore the internet know it alls.

In Michigan you have to be 420 feet from your vehicle or road before you can discharge your firearm. Otherwise the bunny cops can take your gun, your vehicle, and everything in it. Give you a ticket and tell you to have a nice day. You can not have a firearm in your vehicle with ammunition within proximity of the firearm and your firearm has to be cased, that mean a case that is zippered shut and or a hard case with ALL the latches closed. You should feel very blessed to have such lenient hunting laws.

@@MainelyOutDoors You're welcome! There's plenty of resources out there for action cameras. Current popular ones that aren't Gopros are the Mobius, runcam series, foxeer legend series, and firefly q6 to name a few. You can get an older model of these for cheaper. Due to the competition in the mini-action cam scene from drone racing, airsoft and more they're constantly improving. I'm sure there is a hunting channel out there that has a good on the fly setup. I don't know how these airsoft-inspired video gear would do on a real steel setup but it should work out for the most-part. Just doing about 20 minutes of research into the topic I'd suggest this video
      ua-cam.com/video/eLYQ1BxO9AQ/v-deo.html
      This video
      ua-cam.com/video/r3y6j0z2cC0/v-deo.html
and this seems to be a good hunting channel as well.
      ua-cam.com/video/WUmNTz0vtwc/v-deo.html
But just typing in keywords such as this
      ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=making+hunting+videos+solo
Should bring up plenty of material to sift through. Good resources to look on are reddit and facebook groups. For FB try to find the biggest hunting discussion group and search for keywords, there's probably a hunting youtubers group similar to this airsoft youtubers group. facebook.com/groups/PewTubersAnonymous/ A final tip I'd suggest is always try to improve your editing, switch it up every once in a while, keep the bar high when it comes to compilation, audio quality and more.
Keep up the videos! The way to get subscribers is to keep cranking them out, and sooner or later you'll have one that takes off like this one! As someone who's never hunted, is there a way to use almost every part of the bird somehow? Keep the feathers for decoration/sell them, make bird stew with the rest of the meat? I don't think too many hunters try to re-purpose many parts of the animals they hunt. I'll have to do some reading on the subject.
P.S. the most affordable way I could think of to get another camera in the action/different shots would be to use one of these hat mounts for a cellphone.

Never though id say that XD! Also, I guess I never realized that there were so many other viable options for action cameras. That is probably something I could swing in the near future to improve the shots of my fishing videos. Thanks again very glad you found this channel. I'll be trying to upload all I can but since I'm in grad school both my time and funds are limited. However, I can assure you that's not going to stop me from trying my best. Definitely cheaper than a go-pro most/all Under 150 bucks! Of course its just a hobby, but it could also be a side-hustle for beer money or more! Monetize videos with ads and such. Also, the later in the season it is the better trail hunting will get. They are already going there for gravel for their crops and in the late fall as it gets colder the foliage in the woods will die sooner than it will in the road where the sun keeps it green for longer. Good luck next season. maybe next time ill try to add more tips.
