Nice multicam video. I'm getting a lot of resistance when I pull my Model 10682 backwards so now I know where to look. Hopefully won't need to open the transmission. It's cool to see another midwest computer consultant with the same Lawn Boy. I bet we're about the same age, so you probably got your start with microcomputers "back in the day". Regards and thanks.
My first computer was a 286 SX with 2ea 10mb RRL drives with 16 shades of amber for a display. In 1993 I started working on IBM 34, 36 and AS400. I don't play with that stuff anymore. It's a shame how fast we forget basic commands. Thanks for watching.
@@JamitinThereRepair Yes sir, I too had a 286/16 [CGA] in the 80s (my YT video on it: ?v=XwctwsPIDcU) but got my start in 7th grade in 1977 on a Commodore PET micro. Sometimes I remember stuff from that era better than what happened last week. Aging is for the birds. 😕
Just watched this video took the cover off and found a stick jammed in the belt and the pulley which wouldn’t allow it to roll backwards. All fixed in 10 minutes. Thanks
I don't know. It is packed away in the shed. I'll let you know when I drag it out in a few weeks. Take the bag off and see if it has a tag on the frame. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for watching. I hope I was able to help you out in some way. The wheels do free spin forward. So in this case it would only lock up when pulling the mower backwards.
Thanks for the video. I have the same problem on the same mower. I'm gonna pull the cover off now👍🏼
Works like new. Thanks again 😬
i have the same problem on a viking mower, will try this thank you

I'm glad I could help. Thank you for watching.
What model is this mower ..just bought the exact one missing an air cleaner and needing carb work...no real identifiers on it engine maker etc .

2:48 It's a Model 10685, see the tag above the right-rear wheel. Mine is a Model 10682, nearly identical.
It is not the real reason the piece wood stuck in pulley. If it is, not only backward also forward.

Why don't you just buy a new blade?
