I am a beginner at quilting.. so new that I havent actually started yet, just trying to do my homework to gain as much knowledge as I can ahead of time. The statement you made that "you don't have to backstitch when quilting" I found very helpful. It probably saved me a lot of potential frustration. thanks

I have a friend that visited your shop recently and she told me it was a great shop and had a very friendly atmosphere. I can not wait to come visit. I have retired and finally get to devote some of my time to my sewing/quilting hobby. The videos are a clear explanation of how to make projects. I look forward to watching many more.

People asking the size of the squares, she has 6 squares per row. When she measured the squares, they measured 28in. Take into account your 1/4 inch seam allowance. 28 divided by 6 is 4.6 inches per square, plus 1/4 seam allowance, squares are 5x5 inches

Missouri Star Quilt Company yes I started using my phone camera when I started in 2010 on my 1st quilt to help me decide were I wanted thee different blocks. it was a quilt made up of 4" x 9" blocks of in sets of 4 from 15 different fat quarters. the photos were so helpful in laying out my quilt in an aesthetic arrangement as well as light and darks or values. I still use my phone camera today.
