Another side note I am working on the battleship video I swear. We need to ride the lightning with it just a bit more!
How I imagine the Wardens will be when they see a long hook from now on:

It's clips like these that are the reason I'll spawn on any large ship spawns I see on the map. Just plain goofy fun between Battle Hooks and Landing Ships.
This is my first time seeing a destroyer running away from a longhook lmao

I was skeptical about the main armament being 20 half inch guns but I’ll be damned if it didn’t work.
Appreciate you longhook guys coming in do help obliterate Plana Fada. A few hours prior to the long hook attacking, our guys were harassing that island by killing tons of wet conc (which they kept rebuilding like immediately after lmao), killing their beats, shipyard, mines and facilities. As well as killing like 5 other gunboats that we're trying to QRF us, two of which we decrewed and killed with one gb. Was a blast helping to fight the destroyer as well that came to attack our longhooks
Ah yes "harrasing" lol the bit where you exploit the game jumping off the back of a barge with rpgs without the AI retal.. nice lol get a GB or tank and play the game as intended but we know where all those GBs went I got some good highlights of those you can watch lol
I can't speak for others before us but with just cutler foebreakers and HE mortar shells, we killed probably at least 20+ pieces of wet conc, those guys on Plana Fada were like termites, just rebuilding the wet conc pieces minutes after being destroyed lol. Afterwise, the battlehook came when we were rearming to kill more wet conc@@TheBlackFlagCrew
@@elchupacabra1406Those wet pieces were unfortunately killed by this same tactic a day before when you were operating and when you're in a situation like that you have to put concrete to let it dry as soon as possible even if it means doing it 10 more times again. It would be the same story if we didn't put wet concrete but kept it T2, it would've just taken a couple minutes longer to kill
yeah lol, I was captaining the first longhook that showed up, the Tor-4, after an hour or so the crustyhook from WN showed up with fresh supplies and we moved out to surround the island with AI.
I love that scene from Spaceballs, not everyone remembers that movie, but damn that was a good touch to put that scene in this video. 👏🏻 🙂

3:00 Me and my friend were the builders of Plana Fada. Honestly, it is such a bullshit that there is literally no counter play to longhook+cutler strategy. ATGs doesn't retaliate, RGs/MGGs does retaliate but they can suppressed easily as seen in the video, ship is too close to the land that you can barely shoot it with a coastal arty battery. GGs, I guess. It's a shame that Plana Fada went down to an OP strategy that almost has no counter play to it. I was really hoping for some good naval invasion action
The assymmetry in foxhole really focuses on the ass.
We choose the most effective Tactic available. This unfortunately may not be what is "fun" for both sides. We didn't do it cause its fun, we did is cause it was easy.

I am actually mildly annoyed by how quickly those areas were taken.

You know, it's irritating when people don't report stuff like this in world chat. Like, they're too embarrassed to, and then it just leads to more tragedy. Thank goodness Wardens are willing to tell themselves, otherwise I'd never know. Anyway, yeah, obligatory "CUTLER OP!".
I'm a bit upset, because there was a partisan that kept going to a public dry dock, and kept shooting it until it died, and nobody thought to simply install a pillbox in the one remaining gap in the defenses. But then, they'd just use a cutler.
I'm gonna be honest, your kit is broke, which is why as a builder I KNOW what needs to actually be built, but nobody is gonna believe walls are better than bunkers. See, the cutler makes it so that it doesn't matter the bunker is armed. At that point, it's just hit points. So you might as well build a wall with pillboxes inside instead, because it's cheaper and is more costly to destroy than it is to build. Meanwhile, a bunker doesn't have the same cost effectiveness. I just do not like the current state of how structures work in Foxhole, especially when wardens have a rocket launcher that out ranges all the defenses, after the howitzer nerf. Excuse me, who is supposed to be the attack faction?
Howitzers need a buff to target ships and artillery that FIRES, not merely artillery that HITS. That way, you don't have to have FOUR HOWITZERS just to protect ONE PIECE, which compromises it's health pool. It's just frustrating. You'd balance it out by actually having to supply 120mm shells to it, and only the four closest howitzers being allowed to engage. That way, a 150mm artillery will win against it 1v1.

Putting a bunch of rocket troops into some sort of transport vehicle and having them shoot out of it has been a main staple of gaming for a long time.
Tho, it's the first time I see it in a game that is not a RTS.
This has to be the single craziest stunt I've ever seen someone pull in Foxhole. And I've seen a lot of crazy stunts!
This is basically Koroman VS HMAS Sysney during WW2. I love how foxhole unintentional mirrors history sometimes.
I built the 2 Longhooks in Allods Bight, in this video. And All I can say is....That is a really bloody impressive use of the Longhook! I'm quite jealous of the amazing gameplay/footage you got there. I was thinking of how I could apply it to the Colonials, The ATRPG maybe for the Vessel to Vessel combat but our Grenade Launcher to your Cutler equivalent I'm Not sure it would be as effective. I Counted about 2:30 - 3 minutes to completely melt a Longhook with ATR is that correct?
That’s how long it took for both boats. I did a little bit more math in theory with the 15 people we had firing it should take about a minute and a half to melt one
@@BamBamTheEggmanDam! I should be a salty Colonial about it but I can't it is incredible. I will try to attempt a similar thing in the next war, I feel it may be slightly anticlimatic with Lunaires though 😂

Seriously, THIS IS BROKEN. The destroyer can't even escape past naval guns! Congratulations, you've made this builder officially quit Foxhole. I'm done. Like I joined Wardens this war, and the first thing I realized as a builder on Wardens is I didn't have to deal with half the BS a Colonial builder does, because the Colonials don't have cutlers, they don't have tanks with indirect fire THAT DOESN'T INCUR HOWIE RESPONSE, they don't have a super cheap AT weapon they can spam and use in partisan operations...just everything. I don't ever wanna hear again how 'Colonial equipment overpowered'. The point of the game is to destroy and rebuild capture points, having an advantage killing individual infantry units and tanks DOESN'T MATTER in winning the war.
But BS like this? Being able to sit back and use a cutler with impunity? It does matter. I don't want a cutler nerf, I want a builder BUFF!

In war 110 the "Free state of fingers" utilized individuals who were going afk for long stretches by having them wear radio backpacks and go to strategically placed locations to gain intel in the waters while others would defend the nuke. Now from what I understand wearing a radio backpack in the water causes your stamina to drain and you drown.

fantastic, you basically created LSM(R)-188 with those rocket launchers which is fantastic. Since you are in the naval branch though you should know, Buoy is not pronounced like "booee" its actually pronounced like "Boy" as in buoyancy.
