I FEEL THE PAIN OF THIS MAN, that amount of resource is so large it would take weeks for a small group to make one, this guy must be having a heart attack trying to keep all that effort afloat
@@ottovonbis I have been on the receiving end of MANY, MANY Frigates this war. One even drove up right next to our beach to cover a retreating chieftain.
what I love about foxhole your video is now 3 months old and the same match is still going I got a lil tired of being set on fire by the colonials so ima watch this :3
The image at 1:30 is the embodiment of why I can't get into foxhole man. I don't even wanna be in charge, I'd gladly drive logistics and shit and play the game as a truck driver worried about partisans and ambushes. But to be able to do that I have to engage with some dude's pseudo-military power trip of being in charge and if I don't do things their way and follow their orders I'll get kicked or at least teamkilled into oblivion for daring to try and contribute to the war effort in a way that isn't theirs. I'm not trying to join the army, I'm trying to play a damn video game man.
some level of order needs to be placed, but I agree people takes it too far, but on both sides, one the leader goes beyond what is demanded of him he is too much power hungry and then you have those players who don't take their role seriously enough. You don't need to be a military soldier but damn do what is expected of you at least. You will have ton of fun if you just follow the simple tasks
See I would 100% agree except that this goes well past order and a need for people to just follow simple tasks. Take hell let loose for example, I wanna play logistics I go engineer, request a supply truck from the commander or a support player to drop supplies for me and I produce resource nodes. Then from there I have a choice of taking a truck and running supplies back and forth to the front from HQ to build up defenses and garrisons or playing a mine laying sapper bastard with my buddies at the front. Thats the whole process. Meanwhile my buddies who play foxgole, when asked how I would play logistics in that game, tell me first I'd have to go find a units discord to join and get enlisted with them so I can start earning time and seniority before I'm even allowed to ASK PERMISSION to do anything logistics related let alone just do some solo supply running when I've got an hour or two to spare because if I'm not in a unit who's declared themselves the baron of logistics and if I'm not high enough level I'll just be teamkilled and banned for daring to try and do anything even remotely close to helping out with logistics. I'm trying to play a game when I've got the time not partake in a bunch of people's weird beaurocratic power fantasy. If I wanted that I'd just go back to work and argue about contracts all day. And from my understanding that's entirely the playerbase's doing, it's not in any way something the game requires of you.
@@KILLRAIN42 That's compeltely and uttrely bullshit. I do public logi all the time by myself. I see what the fronts need and look around from whereI can take it and just do it. If I can't find something there's nothing stopping me from scrooping for a bit, making the stuff in a factory and then shipping it. Don't listen to your idiotic and misguided friends, solo logi is feasible. I even run a solo frontline facility with no one coming to scream at me. I am a warden loyalist btw.
"A ship at sea is its own world and to be the captain of that ship, is to be the unquestioned ruler of that world and requires all the skills of a statesman or minister." But look at it this way, that ship took DOZENS of people a WEEK of real time to build. It has enough firepower to single-handedly turn the tide of a front. And yet, it is SHOCKINGLY fragile. The captain is responsible for that enormous investment. If she sinks, he will get the blame and that is an incredibly high-stress situation to have players running around being clueless dipshits in. Logi have a degree of autonomy in fulfilling their orders and even a single truckload of supplies can have a huge impact on a front, but the larger an operation, the more rests on it and the higher those stakes, the more everything has to run well.
"From the mist, a shape, a ship, is taking form, And the silence of the sea is about to drift into a storm. Sign of power, show of force, Raise the anchor, battleship's plotting its course.-"
A docked ship isn't always a bad thing. Hang around the ones with even minimal commotion about and ask around. Usually if a ship/battlegroup isn't just parked for the night it's being supplied if not expanded and might just happen to be short on manpower.

Vehicle gets reserved when you start the construction of it. Weapons and Stockpile is public but to access the driver seat or anchor you need to be in the squad
For this war this was all we really did with the Battleship because after our final op the war pushed to far inland for us to really utilize the ship any further. Wardens won this war about 4 days after I posted this video if I remember correctly

For the "real" scale this game is balanced wrong. The stormcannons that represents the railwayguns from the germans have 300mm in this game. So in this scale 150mm for a battleship is to scale😅
I’d have to agree that it’s silly especially considering we landed about 2-4 shots on it. If this was a gunboat it would have been dead in seconds. Unfortunately though the battleship is meant more as a “siege” weapon I feel used to destroy buildings and infrastructure while can be utilized for pvp this really includes other boats and infantry who find themselves a bit to close to a landing shell
