Video title says R/T yet that's CLEARLY an SRT-8...
Facts! But Same process for the 5.7
Pathetic...
R.I.P Vic
Did pistons & valve springs with this supercharger at 9 & 10psi.. and I LOVE IT!!!
Good video as always 💯🙌🏻
Very cool!!!!!!!!!
Better enjoy it while you can, the ⛽ cars will be obsolete come 2030 you will be driving the so called electric 🚗 s thanks to the Globalist agenda.
Looks factory i like it
Can you do a full build on a D150 with a HEMI Swap?
Needs a more aggressive tune
Right? 470 rwhp… that’s it? Not worth it for just 100 rwhp. So like maybe 540 hp to the crank? Needs more boost and better tune. Should be putting out like 515-525 rwhp to be worth it.
@@BenficaMike although it’ll be gapping stock scats, 5.0’s and SS’s, it’s not worth it to spend nearly ten grand, if not more, just for that small increase in power. Definitely would be worth it exceeding 500 whp
Spent $6300 for a full cam kit headers Dyno tune and labor from mmx on my 6.4 and I’m making 500 wheel. I understand this is a 6.1 but I’m not impressed that I’m making more power N/A.
@@BenficaMikeit also needs FBO's.. Long tubes would add another 25+who alone
@@ao969 You can get this kit for $7500. Install yourself. Boom.
Vic Edelbrock is wearing the chomo Edition New Balance shoes. He looks like Tech inspection at Bandimere Speedway
😆
Would love to learn about dry nitrous, small shots
Watch the video they did recently on the nova. Towards the end of it
A whipple supercharger on an actual challenger r/t produces 510-530 rwhp, not crank, at just 10psi of boost.
I really enjoy the performance videos, but I would love to see the crew take a v6 mini van and give it a little more horsepower under the hood and a better handling package. And do it as inexpensively as possible. A sleeper kid hauler and grocery getter.
For real if someone would just make a decent power adder for the pentastar V6 in the journeys and grand caravans they would sell out immediately.
@@timbrwolf1121 Ripp supercharger
@@LuisRodriguez-sv3gu It does not fit the 3.6 in the way it is used in the grand caravan and journey. Its a sideways mounted engine powering a front wheel drive. There are too many differences. If ripp would make one for this application I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I am aware of them lol
What hemi were they using this supercharger on?
6.1
Vic Edelbrock:"Its great when you can bolt on one hundred sixty, seventy horsepower and still get the same fuel mileage."
Powerblock:" We made almost 100 horsepower more!"
So true!!!!!!!!!!
Youre taking it out of context he wasnt even talking about this car he was talking about a car with a supercharger in general making as much if not more miles per gallon as it did naturally aspirated which is true.
probably 160-70 at the crank, not the rear wheels
At the crank , that doesn't make it to the rear wheels
Pretty weak tune; seen over 600 with stock blower 6.1s
finally some good content! none of that chinese made ford and gm crap.
Can you do a Ford 4.0 build
Email the powerblock directly. This page is NOT run by them and these episodes are OLD. OLD, OLD, OLD!!!
I like the effect of the supercharger but man I hate that wine that covers up that muscle car sound.
6.1?? this another OLD one
They pretty much all are...
Challenger R/T ? orly ? =)) less lies please
Junk
E-force is junk
