I used to live in Lofoten. I agree with you, it is the most beautiful place on earth. I have also traveled NZ, and while I think that was mindblowing, Lofoten wins :D
Great video. I went there last March and it was a winter wonderland. It was great to watch your video to see what the same areas look like without the snow.
Unbelievable mate. Incredible viewing, the way you describe it, capture the moments and share it with the rest of us is a skill that seems to come naturally to you... Well bloody done mate. Most underrated youtube channel right now, HANDS DOWN 🙌🔥
Beautiful film, Scott. New to the channel and glad I’ve found you. Nice to see Langøya get a shout out - we’ve just come back from a week there (video out tomorrow) - sadly a slightly challenging week of aurora chasing under a lot of cloud! Paul.
Hey Paul, Thanks so much for the kind words and watching. Its truly a magical part of the world that I hope to return back to one day in winter. I'll keep an eye out for your video tomorrow, looking forwarding to seeing what you got up to in Winter 🥶
Absolutely stunning mate, northen norway is a true gem. I'm reminded of being so blessed to have been born into this beautiful country when I see this video from you ❤️ I'm from the south of Norway, but been travelling up in the north a dozen of times both winter and in the summer. It's been a while though, have'nt been in these parts since 2016. Planning a new trip next year with my kids and wife, gonna bring my camera for sure. Keep on exploring the world and thank you for sharing it with us 🥰
What a magical country to call home Martin🙏🏼 I’d love to visit during winter one day. Enjoy the trip next year and thanks so much for watching the video, so stoked you enjoyed it 😊🙏🏼
Thanks Drew, Lofoten is a special place forsure! Those beanies are from a shop called AS Colour out here in New Zealand but try searching for "watch caps" wherever your located and you'll be able to get something similar 🙂
So as you can imagine Norway is expensive. Im not sure on how much we spent overall but can tell you that we rented a van for 8 days which cost around £1800, fuel was also pretty expenisve. I live in New Zealand and supermaket prices for food were about the same as here. Hope that helps :)
@@scott_howes Yea... That's part of the reason I'm apprehensive about going. I have at least $1000 + my work bonus to put towards it, but I know it's still going to be very costly. Everything I want to do is so spread out. Buuuut, I really want to get out there while I can, just so I don't regret it in the future if I can't make it for whatever reason. Thanks for your insight!
Tourists eat and they do number 2. And Lofoten is full of number 2! You can not go anywhere out of the road and not step on a number 2. Therefore as an norwegian I will not wisit anymore!. And if you stay in a campingplace, or a hut, it costs a fourtune! Double and tripple the price of anywhere else!
I fell in love with norway, as soon as i got out of the plane!
A magical part of the world

Can you provide dates of your visit and the camper van rental used?
September and I used a company called We camp🚐
@@scott_howes thanks. Planning my September trip now. So many options on how one spends two weeks.
Do you mind sharing about how much this trip cost? Norway (Lofoten) especially are number 1 on my bucket list. I'm hoping on going later this year.
