Hi guys, great video, brought back some good memories. I was lucky enough to ride that amazing road with a good friend of mine back in 2006. We were working in Norway at the time and took our bikes out there for one rotation, ( a month ) instead of flying out. You could get a ferry from Newcastle to where we were working in Haugesund back then, don't think it runs anymore though. We also got the small ferry back to Stavanger and then rode back to our accommodation on Stord Island, the best days riding in forty years as a biker. Did you guys check out the Eagles Nest café / restaurant? Its perched on stilts at the top of the cliff before the decent to Lysebotn, incredible views of the Fjord. Stay safe and keep the videos coming 👍👍
Hi Keith, thanks for your comment and we are really glad to have brought back fond memories. That's really cool you got to work there, must have been awesome to combine work and a ride out! This road is always on our list. Not only for the hairpins, but also the drive over the mountains. The road is called Suleskarveien. On your ferry you'll be passing "preikestolen" Be carefull with your droneflying. It's not allowed in Lysebotn, probably because of helicopter traffic.
Hi, Yeah been on our list for a while now, so awesome to actually ride it. Yeah the whole road up to it over the mountains was just as good. We would like to hike up to the Preikestolen but i think this will have to be done on another trip. I did not receive any no fly restrictions from this GEO zone (the Drone is linked to satellites and wont take off if there are flightpaths) but it is required to keep a line of sight and to have the correct EASA registration. Hello In july 2025 i will gonna do with my cousin (2 motorcycles) the trip PORTUGAL > PREIKESTOLEN > PORTUGAL We will gonna take the ship/ferry from Hirtshals (Denmark) to Kristiansand (Norway) KRISTIANSAND to LYSEBOTN and then to JORPELAND. Question: From LYSEBOTN to JORPELAND we can go driving the motorcycles by the road or we need to take a SHIP/FERRY ? If need take the ferry...how long time for that ? Thank you
Hi, I think we mention it in the next episode where we take the ferry. There is no road out of Lysebotn so you will need to take the ferry. This is actually one of the most spectacular ferries so it’s really worth it. The ferry only takes about 2 hours if i remember correctly. Just keep in mind you need to reserve this ferry as it’s only small and will sell out quickly -almost no chance of just turning up for it. When we took it they were turning bikes and cars away. 😎👍🏻

Sean and Emily
@@SeanandEmily enjoy your travel and wish you more memories together! I’m actually celiac, but at the base it’s the same, I have to keep the diet. From what I heard they have pretty good shops and you can find a lot of gluten free products in the north country’s? I live in Belgium but I’m originally from Romania, you have to go there and see Transfagarasan and Transalpina 😁all the best and safe ride! 🍻btw just found the video because someone left it as a comment to a picture on the Facebook! Glad I found it 😁
Hi, Em is not Celiac but as you say the diet is the same -it's just we dont need to buy certified gluten free products if we check the ingredients -however i think you could safely eat with us =). Yes there are plenty of gluten free products in the Nordic shops (it's expensive but they have everything).
Oh cool! we actually went to Romania on one of our early videos when we started this channel -such a great country to explore!
Thanks for letting us know how you found our channel and feel free to share it =)
Thanks for watching and hope to hear from you again sometime.
Cheers

@@SeanandEmily I’m searching to buy a new bike so I can do some travel and to use it as a daily motorcycle. I saw that you rode also the f850gs, how it felt compared to the big gs? Also I’m considering the R1250R with some luggage. Any advice? (Didn’t rode the f850gs) but I tried the big GS and R which I love them, but they are more expensive bikes as well! 😁
Hello
In july 2025 i will gonna do with my cousin (2 motorcycles) the trip PORTUGAL > PREIKESTOLEN > PORTUGAL
We will gonna take the ship/ferry from Hirtshals (Denmark) to Kristiansand (Norway)
KRISTIANSAND to LYSEBOTN and then to JORPELAND.
😎👍🏻
