I love it too I add it to soups, yoghurt, desserts and enjoy drinking it as a hot drink with fresh lemon, really seems to fight off coughs and colds too. I also love sparkling water so was relieved when he said that was OK to drink, it really helped me for quitting other carbonated drinks.

I think the things to take away from this are: If it contains sugar, don’t eat it. Don’t drink fruit juices without the whole fruit - it’s just concentrated sugar. Don’t eat things that have been cooked in any sort of vegetable/nuts oils. Cut down on alcoholic drinks - lots of carbs in these plus they mess with your liver. Avoid milk in large quantities - lots of carbs in milk - an unsweetened latte from a coffee shop contains the same amount of sugars as a glazed donut! Drink water.

Hello Dr Sethi, can you tell me if taking supplements such as calcium, vitamin C, magnesium, Zinc, vitamin D, cod liver oil, B vitamins can cause fatty liver? I’ve been taking these supplements for 15 years now and have only stopped them now to see if it makes a difference. I’ve also changed my diet but was concerned the supplements could be causing problems. Thanks.
If you are deficient, taking some supplements with food is ok You don’t have to take it religiously everyday if you’re not prescribed by anybody Too much drugs also causes fatty liver sometimes

Try fasting for 16 hours a day. You would increase your sensitivity to insulin and break down the fat in your liver.

whatever nutrient, how much ever essential it is , is best to be taken naturally. That is , from your food , not as tablet.
