Sophie, the Countess of Wessex looked especially smart. I really loved her look. She is a beautiful lady. I also loved the Crown Princess of Sweden, Victoria's green dress and Catherine, Princess of Wales clothing. She always does a beautiful job and it helps she has an incredible figure that is easy to dress.

As a Norwegian, I have been annoyed for years that the Crown-Princess does not have better advisers come to dressing, hair and so on. I completely agree with you, this dress does nothing for her. I am not a big fan of princess Sophia and her style either, so I think you nailed it quite on the head this week. Thank you for the video❤
Yes; both very attractive ladies who could use some style guidance. It’s hard when one is fuller figured, but it can be done. Victoria often looks fairly frumpy or just not good. And they all have good raw material!
@@marblehead2500 Absolutely, they are all three attractive ladies, and should do the utter most possible of their possibilities.
As a lady with a bigger chest Mette-marit needs to expose a portion of her neckline at all times, otherwise you end up with a uni-boob. Actually both red outfits suffered from this. I am in the same position and do not own anything with a high neckline/crew-neck for that very reason. Sofia's blue dress had too many elements, the big floral, the puff sleeves and the full skirt overwhelmed her.
I feel like princess Charlene's outfits for this last two weeks are the best we have seen this year.
Princess Charlene always looks sad. She never looks happy. I'm so sorry for her because I think she has some really serious life issues she's trying to cope with.
I always wonder why she ever married Prince Albert. She does very little of the usual work royals do, and she doesn't seem like much of a help to him He clearly needs someone to help him with his royal duties, and she's not the one..
I love HRH Katherine's jeans. I also think the casual photo was deliberate in sending a message, so I am OK with the Xmas photo. Sophie looked fabulous!
Agree with the theory about the photo because they were criticizing for being cold and formal by MM.
I really feel for William and Catherine, taking on new roles and trying to do well under intense international scrutiny and press criticism and social media attacks. It’s hard to be targets. And worse, targeted because of one’s relatives. I am just so sorry for them all. H&M included, because they are losing this family by pushing them away.
Love Catherine's but Sophie totally out shined everyone , love love those boots! I agree about the Wales' Christmas card , not very Christmasie , should have been a cozy winter scene.

Your channel is a great resource for sprucing up my “wardrobe” (also known as sales items from Walmart!). Your comments give me helpful some tips that I can apply to my modest items.
I agree with all the yeas and nays…my favorite was Sophie’s winter white outfit. Stunning.
If you look closely in the right neighborhoods, there are also some gently used and fabulous finds at Goodwill and Salvation Army, and other thrift stores.
During the virus, I ordered some household cleaning items online from Walmart. I have the financial ability to shop where ever I want. ( I do not mention this to be snobbish, but to illustrate the fact that I would never have thought to purchase anything except facial tissues or Clorox wipes from WalMart, as they are a good supplier of things like that, but I was well surprised by my other purchases). While on their website some boots popped up, and I bought them in 2 colors for $29. Since we are all back out interacting with people I have been wearing them, and I get a ton of compliments on them! I love to say they are from WalMart. They are kind of Doc Martens knock offs with shearling lining that you can see at the top of the boots. They are warm and have great traction also, as I have learned with our recent 'bomb cyclone' polar storm that has brought us a lot of snow and temperatures well below 0.

Agree, plus I loved Sophie W.’s fur hat. Very festive and perfect with her coat. I think Beatrice looked much better than Eugénie. The only thing she needed was a scarf or pin or something to tie it in with the festive occasion. I liked the big checks on her and it was clean lines and well fitting. Eugénie’s outfit seemed a mistake. I think she struggles with her weight, but she could look great if she’d dress for her strengths. The coat just made her look frumpy and wide around the middle. Maybe she is pregnant, but there are outfits that could work better. I try to remember that these young women have husbands and babies, work full-time and as non-working royals, do not have access to unlimited resources. And no one has a figure like Catherine’s! Zara and Pippa both looked smashing lovely-I’d love to see more of their style. I think Pippa and Zara are gorgeous.

Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by Beatrice. I really thought she looked rather lovely. The dress & headband was regal and the gold complimented her red hair.
Personally, I'd put her in the bottom of my top 10 favorites!
My favorite of the week was Queen Letizia's red suit. It was stylish but classic, elegant, and fit her body type perfectly.

I absolutely loved Crown princess Victorias dress. It moved beautifully when she walked and was what we really needed post Covid- Nobel, a real princess- dress.
Wasn’t a fan of princess Sophia’s dress, terrible to say but it would have looked good on an elderly lady.

Camilla's Christmas Concert white coat and burgundy pin was one of my favorite looks. It said "less is more" in the best way.

Even tho I have no opportunity to dress as formally as any of these ladies and am not a fashionista by any means, this is a very fun channel. Brittany, it's thanks to your enthusiasm and charm that makes this so. I would love to hear about sales, that's the only way I shop! Work won't let me wear skirts, which I used to live in, but I'm always looking for a chance to wear pretty, girl things again. If I had the chance to get a lovely Needle & Thread embroidered number, I definitely wouldn't complain.
Both Sophia and the coat you were not fond of come from Max Mara.
I like the way that coat flowed open. Could not find available in Canada but probably in the $7k range vs the $1,500 fringe.

Snow….not always in London and if it comes, too close to Christmas to do pictures. I love their card which was taken in the Fall. Sofie looked lovely as well as Zara, Pipa and Catherine. They all looked lovely from all the families. Good video though.
I think the polka dot dress on Princess Mette-Mart made her breast area look droopy. I tend to agree about the pink gown, the red example looked stunning.
That was the first thing I noticed w/the dress. Took your eyes right to that area and definitely looked droopy.

For me personally, I don't think the Prince and Princess of Wales could have picked a better picture this year. Remember, Me-gain tried to say how stuffy, straight, and non-huggy the Princess of Wales is. Me-gain met Catherine for the first time in ripped jeans and implied Catherine would never be caught wearing jeans. Here, the entire family is in jeans!! Even in jeans, William looks regal, Catherine is impeccably beautiful as always. The children are adorable as always. Overall, a fun picture!!
POW is always huggy with her children, something M doesn't do. The pics we've seen, show the kids just hanging off her., kind of like limp dolls. I see the Middleton family being warm and cozy. I think the RF is in good hands.

My first thought upon seeing Eugenie wearing a sofa throw as a Winter fashion statement was that she looks to be expecting a 'shawl' come early Spring. If so.....congrats Eugenie & Jack.

Beatrice is looking much more chic and elegant in the past couple of years. She’s had some really lovely looks that suit her well. She’s growing in the fashion department and often now looks great.

I wonder if they use a photo from a photo shoot in the summer,because with the Queen passing they have had a hard few months. I know I wouldn’t want to smile for pictures after losing my grandma. Eugenie needs a personal shopper or stylist. She looked like she was wearing a blanket for sure. I wasn't wild about Beatrice's coat either because it also was a print. Hounds tooth (which I think Eugenie's coat may be) & window pane designs (Beatrice's coat) are not my favorite. Why have a print of any kind as the fabric for a coat?

So happy to have found this channel - so fun. Just wanted to add that I really loved Sophie, Lady Frederick Windsor's coat and thought it looked great on her. The hat was too much, but the coat was very elegant. Princess Eugenie's coat was not flattering at all, and as for Princess Beatrice's coat, I actually really liked the high collar and pattern but wish it was better fitted.

I see what you mean but I also think that the dress was a bit of a miss. There are other ways to honor the Festival of Lights in Scandinavia, and the dress looked too…orange? It might have been going for the effect you note. Something didn’t work, though.
I thought it was a huge miss with the white on the bottom. I think it would've been much better flipped the other way around, with white on top. It just seemed weird to fade to white.

Sometimes i think they're quietly defending their Mum, poor Sarah Fergie Ferguson was slaughtered in the media and yes, compared to Diana, which she always was, she didnt come out on top but i think she just didn't have that type of ego. I watched a documentary (a real one) on Queen Victoria and couldn't believe how much Beatrice/Eugenia (not sure which is which) eyes looked like the Queens, it is uncanny

I’m all for matchy-matchy, too. I don’t know why it’s criticized so much, it’s simple, classic and restrained. I can’t imagine Katherine wearing a different color in each of her accessories, footwear, bags, gloves and possibly, belt. I’m surprised that the men don’t wear hats on these winter days and evenings, they must be cold without them. After all, they don’t have much, if any, hair.

Queen Maxima’s “mellerino” ( forgive my spelling) in my opinion is the most beautiful “ feminine” diamond necklace! It’s not a huge collet diamond necklace but oh my goodness the allure of its sparkle and how it’s sits so beautifully on the wearer’s neck. I think it comes in all diamond, or spotted with rubies or sapphires. Just gorgeous!! Whenever she wears it I smile. CP Victoria looks better when her hair is not pulled so tight her eyes a pulled! Seriously! No softness at all.

The fit of Princess Eugenia’s coat is biggest issue. The shoulders and the sleeves look too big. A good tailor is everything. The colour palette is nice on her. The fringe could be risky, but interesting on an otherwise quite outfit. Fit. Fit. Fit.

She was formerly Kate Middleton, but she has been married to Prince William for over 10 years and deserves recognition for being a very hard working and loyal member of the British Royal Family. I always find it difficult when Americans try to dictate their taste on Europeans. Especially when they don't seem to have a clue about European culture. Of course you can wear orange in winter in Sweden. Orange is a typical Christmas color.
Comparing the Swedes to the British is idiotic. Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Sofia, Princess Madeleine and the Norwegians together have as much money at their disposal as Kate alone has in Britain. Who also has a horde of stylists at her side.
She is always perfect. But I like the others for their own style of imperfection and celebrate it when they wear a coat made from tablecloth.
We only got snow last week. How much time would the Wales's have had to get a photographer to take a pic, get the thousands of cards printed they send each year, write and post them for delivery by 25th? Be reasonable.

There have been Many times The working Royals have worn the same or very similar colours at events. I can't help feeling these three...Noted this !!...and decided they were showing what rubbish was being said...and proving Ms Markles remark, was stupid...
No One wants to wear the same dress or even the same colour so you can imagine the dressers do co-ordinate for those who care. BUT Its not a Rule !!
