Great video Stuart, as always. I couldn’t help noticing the shed door flapping open and shut…….I think with a little bit of imagination, you could add in some FUN . A mischievous ghost perhaps ? 😂😂😂😂😂
Hey Stewart! Love the texture on this! This is something with many possible color schemes! I was fine with the length as I do like watching all the steps. Thanks for sharing your creativity with me again. Stay safe, Vickie
Love the style and content of this video. Lots of appropriate camera angles well lit and excellent voice over that a blind person could follow. All together a masterly piece of work that should inspire and set a standard for years to come.
Very nice video and piece Stewart! I really appreciate your taking the time to make these videos. I like the real time video and the narrative you offer, I always learn something. I have a fan blowing behind me to further direct the sanding dust into my collector. I totally understand the need to “reorganize/rethink” the shop design anytime something new is added!! I love my 40/40 grind!! Your videos demonstrates the freedom to be bold and creative, not something I easily do!
I really enjoyed this vid! Awesome approach and texture. I loved how the sawdust stayed from the hollowing. Wouldn't it be cool to then laquor or do a clear polyurethane. It looks great! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Stewart, Another great demo and ideal for me as I start my journey with my Proxxon. I did use the carving blade and found it quite aggressive due to my lack of experience with the tool. I really like this one. Take care Stewart. Cheers, Huw
Hi Amy - sorry for not replying sooner...I'm running on holiday mode at the moment! If I put some lacquer on the texture, I would either mask off the center (which would be fiddly) or I would leave the masking off and then re-sand the center and wax it after the lacquer had cured. Cheers!
Hi Stewart Did I hear you commit what I consider the cardinal sin of woodturning demonstrators, the words RPMs! It is RPM, you cannot have revs per minutes! Think about it and do not do it again. Other than that a nice chunky bowl that could have used a bit more colour.

You are a good teacher, Stewart. I predict you'll have over 25K subs by next year.
Fingers crossed! Thank you, Robert!
Nicely done Stewart. Thanks for the many lessons in doing the piece
Take care
Cheers
Harold
Glad you enjoyed it, Harold! Thank you!
Another awesome piece, Stewart!
Cheers, Billy - i liked the texture on this one probably more than the final colour...but that can be changed!!
Printer/photocopier noise in the back ground had me guessing for for a while nice turn and colour Stewart Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it, Brian! Cheers!!

Very nice work!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
I do like the unedited full length vids! Great bowl, love the texturing with the Proxon, wish I could justify the expenditure haha.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you, Stuart!!

Cheers, Jude...I've been tempted to cover the surface with glue before I sand to capture the dust....might have to do it one day!!

Thank you, Huw. Good luck with your proxxon!
Can you spray the lacquer over the waxed center? Or do you tape off the center prior to lacquering?

Personal choice, looked better before the dark overspray. Thanks for the video.
Thanks, Mark...I agree....I wanted this to have more 'pop' and brightness.....probably why I haven't put a finish on it yet!
Not a mistake. The black just turned the bowl from Tequila Sunrise to Pumpkin Spice. Now you know how to achieve either one! 🤣🤪👍🏻
Ooo...nice comment! Thanks, Valerie!!

PMSL......yep, see what you mean.....will try my darndest not to do it again! More colour is a definite for this one!!! Cheers, Roger!
You should not be wearing a ring for safety, at least wear a glove.
Point taken - most days it's almost impossible to remove the ring. I'd rather not wear gloves turning either, though.
Some people use what looks like tape, might be a bandage.@@stewartfurini
Don't use FB. 👎
Sorry about that, Ged!
