- SO WE BOUGHT THIS BMW M3 WHICH HAS BEEN PARKED UP FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND IT HAS A MECHANICAL ISSUE WHICH THE PREVIOUS OWNER COULDN'T RESOLVE. WE PURCHASED THE CAR; IN THIS VIDEO WE LOOK AT HOW BAD THE CONDITION AND DAMAGE IS.

Yes lads! Great project. Price wise, 4.5k as you'd assume it needs an engine or serious engine work at least.
I’m a big e46 M3 guy Iv had over 6 in the past and also started my channel with it so in that condition and being a manual I’d say £4300. But fingers crossed 🤞🏼 if everything works out for me il be picking up one tomorrow or Monday and keeping it. Because i keep selling them and regretting it every summer when I see them on road and I end up looking on eBay and the prices are so high I thought I’d never be able to buy other one.
Fibreglass repair to the front wing what a joker just buy a new one.
Bottom end bearings have spun so will need a new crank.
Check subframe mounting point will most certainly need reinforcing. These are not cheap cars to fix

Don't use fiberglass to fix rust. Replace the metal or the rust will return.

Looking forward to the rebuild, shame it’s not a coupe though. Pretty sure CSL wheels were magnesium. These could be the wheels they fitted to the M3 CS or aftermarket copies? M3 CSL style air-box would be a nice mod. Rear subframe prone to cracking so be interesting once you take a look
4k? Looking forward to this one and I'm sure you guys will check out the rear subframe cracking which was a common fault on the E46, if not already sorted.
Price guess - £7K but I know they're worth way more than that 💰
£4.500 is what I'd pay for this especially when not running

Great choice, would have been great if it was a SMG model as that may have had more issues that you could deal with😁 I personally would keep it all standard as they seem to get more money in todays market. Even the wheels. Think you mentioned its a previous cat s car, so I woud change the wing. If its all original and HPi clear then I may try to repair the wing in order to keep it looking original. Either way will be good to see how you get on.
Stock cars always retain value better than anything with after-market mods.
