@@ratataran yeah i know it is, but i know you have to be real precise with it especially with the measurements, unless youre just sanding it just to clean it and not to resurface the block, i just dont trust myself getting the right measurements to resurface a block using sand paper, if im gonna put the time and money to rebuild a motor i might as well throw in couple of hundreds for resurfacing so i have a peace of mind that it wont blow in couple months, but if it works for you then props to you man. 👍

should not use such a hard material on insertion of the pistons. even the slightest improperly vectored shock could permanently deform the piston or worse yet cause disassembly in the rotating assy below the piston or worse yet unseat one of the rings.
Otherwise decent DIY rebuild job. Would also recommend a machine shop handle honing / boring and maybe crank balancing.

Looks like you reused main and rod bolts. Did you measure the stretch? What's the point of using a torque wrench if you use it _after_ hammering every bolt on with an impact?

Great job! One comment, never use 2 pins with the timing bridge. One at a time. If you need to adjust a cam you'll be off on the other side or bend a pin.
