fun fact this is not true. when you open the phone app it actually wakes the car up then. when you walk up to the car and pull the handle, that wakes up the car. and it is only when sentry mode is active that the car stays awake 24/7, although this wastes abt 45 miles in 24 hours because the car is on that whole time.

It’s not to avoid taxes. It’s to make a payment structure where pay is completely tied to the success of the company. Stock isn’t guaranteed money unless the company performs. Other auto CEOs take pay + stock.
@@copycatt2579 That doesn't really apply to Tesla though. After all, they didn't even make any profit whatsoever until 2020, while their stock price has absolutely ballooned. And yes, CEOs very much misuse the system to pay less taxes, since corporate gains is much lower than income tax.

G'day, Thanks for your videos, This is NOT the first one I've ever watch, but in the past have been Samsung S22 ultra, as I've had 4 Notes in the past and you seem to give it how it is about these phones. Thanks for that. I'm presently watching your UA-cam Video about Tesla Car/Company or whatever, BUT, here it is, a BIG BIG BUT, Most of Electric Company's complain and state in documentation and news reports, that they have a hard time having enuff SEC(Electricity) on demand during the HOTTER months, of course that's Summer and other times when the temps REALLY GET HIGH on demand on the grids and they say they "Lesson" the output from the grid to save on getting blackouts during peak periods, THESE are, when everyone is at work, they sit in offices and turn on the Air Conditioners as well as those that either work from home or are retired and the grid takes a heavy use-edge during the day. When WE all leave the office and commute home, again, in our cars with the A/C flat out to get cooler, then we arrive home and the first thing we do, or sometimes the second thing, is plug our little electric cars in to recharge, and then turn on the HOME A/C, so intern, this is putting a LARGER than normal from past years on the grid, NOT having the power to charge/use stuff at home. SO, How the Bloody heck will the power companies be able to cope with this EXTRA demand on the power grid!!!!! It's NOT rocket science, and I'm a retired ex-soldier/driver but I just want to know, how will the Power Companies handle this extra drain on the grid. It's only going to get HIGHER AND WORSE as if we start to purchase new electric cars, it's going to put such a massive drain on the power grid.
So you see, it will ONLY get worse. And in your report/video, the Tesla company and OTHER auto companies get these HUGE REBATE'S building more electric cars. The prices will ONLY GO UP, not down, WE don't get the rebates, the bloody car industries do, NOT US. Thanks Teddy.

In the other companies' defense (industry, size, and stock wise), it's more appropriate to look at Tesla as a tech company that makes cars as oppose to a standard car company

Most of Tesla's monetary success comes from government subsidies and contracts, not only that, electric vehicles barely account for the amount of vehicles actually being sold, if I remember, electric vehicles in general are in the single digits in terms of proliferation, especially the U.S.
That's not forgetting the fact that when moving over to electric, you arrive at new environmental issues that are being glossed over in hopes of increasing sales and the puddle deep belief that people are "helping the environment." By going electric.

Another fun fact: Did you know, that all video taken on any of the Tesla cameras is automatically uploaded to its cloud, where it is only protected by your Tesla ID, but you can’t disagree with this function and have to except it if you want to drive a Tesla.
In fact, due to the non permitted constant filming, Tesla is facing a large lawsuit against the state of Germany for breaching privacy rules (fairly strict in Germany, which is why google streetview doesn’t exist in Germany: filming other people or their property is not allowed without asking them.

@Mr. Miller your fun fact is false. Not all video is uploaded to the Tesla cloud. What are loaded? Disengagements of autopilot, accidents but more importantly it works as a query engine of real life situations. For example videos where cameras are ocluded by debris from the road.
In any case, pretty sure the success of Tesla has plenty of people trying to slow them down. I'm sure the powerful German auto industry has *nothing to do* with the lawsuit you mention.
