Download Arun's build from the link provided
Unzip the download file and launch the installer
Once you see the installer, select Stand-alone installation in "Install for"
Select an install path for the folder where you want to keep Arun's version of the Opera browser
Once the installation is complete, go to this folder and launch the application from there.

That umbilical cord charger must be the weirdest, not to mention creepiest piece of art I have seen in my life. More than an umbilical cord, it reminds me of some alien species out of a horror movie, wriggling around in search of a victim to burrow itself into.

I come back to this video again and again, *just* for the "Umbilical cord charger". I think the concept is incredibly cool and it absolutely delivers! It's a gross looking thing, but I am so impressed by the amazing work that she did in making it look realistic that - to me - it doesn't matter that it's "Eeeww!"-inducing. It's just cool at this point!

I still have and use my GameCube keyboard controller. While Phantasy Star Online has been shut down for ages it still works like a charm. Once you get used to the width it's a solid controller.

The umbilical charger is actually cool as hell. It must take her so much time and care to make each one, and the fact that she kept you updated on every step of the process is amazing. :) Seems like a real passion project.

Honestly, the artist sounds so sweet and the charger is really cool if you think about it. I'd have given the artist a quote unquote tip for the hard work she does. She literally hand crafts them herself for your specific phone model, that is some mad respect from me.

The Philips CD-i story is actually a little weirder than what you described. Nintendo originally went with Sony to manufacture the CD add on. Nintendo then turned around and decided to go with Philips after the deal was already stuck. Then they threw the whole thing away but Philips got the consolation prize of using Mario and Zelda in a few games. Sony, burned by this, turned their efforts into the PlayStation.

It's a very efficient way to just print text without the cost of refilling ink cartridges. That said, printing images was never the priority with this kind of technology.

The GameCube Keyboard controller was used specifically for Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 as it used a traditional chat system and made it easier.
Also the camera on top of the GameBoy Camera can be rotated for selfies (as indicated by the embossed arrow on the grey iris) so you don't need to rotate the whole console to take guess-photos.
Don't forget about the typing of the dead! But yeah, I got mine for pso as well

CD-i was based on the 68000 version of Microware Systems Corporation's OS-9 operating system. Philips owned (owns?) Signetics, so it used Signetics's 68070 CPU, which had I2C but was *slower* than a 68000 because it didn't have a ALU devoted to effective address calculation that the 68000 had. CD-i was underpowered, but it had some good games---if Burn:Cycle is available, try it. I'm not a gamer and I was impressed.

That pillow's side holes are actually meant for your hands, so you can sleep while sitting, resting you head on a table in front of you, like on a plane. Apparently it's next level comfortable! I remember even Dude Perfect got to try it out and they liked it.

The CDI was amazing in the 90's for video though. Digital video before DVD, uncut films that in the UK somehow skirted classification and that were easy to import. I remember getting a good, legit copy of a few films weeks after or even before cinema release. A few interesting FMV games in mad dog mcree and 7th guest as well as my 2nd favourite tetris.
It warms my heart to see him discover "what are you running from" without realising the impact behind it
The artist who made the cord is amazing. She even created the external wood box! When you have a newborn in Japan it is tradition to save and dry a small piece of the cord which you receive from the hospital in that exact type of box.
The Mutalk actually looks like a cool and useful gadget. I’d like to look into it when it releases in the US.

If it was wrapped itself in the tin, it probably was so it wouldn't react to moisture if it got into the tin (wrappers getting condensation in them happens) and start growing in transit, so they also wrapped it in shrink.
