I know this sounds crazy, but as a drummer there are moments where I am playing certain songs where it feels like I’ve been lifted from my seat and I am watching from above. It doesn’t matter whether it’s classic rock or classic country, there are moments of pure magic that some musicians and no mortal will ever understand.I cannot watch any of your videos without weeping. I am stirred to the depths of my soul by that sound and your passion. Thank you so much.

Would you mind doing a series of videos showing how the organ works from your perspective? I mean like showing how the stops change the sound, how responsive the organ is (time from key pressed to sound made), and other stuff we might not know just from seeing someone play? I am fascinated by the instrument.

Fabulous ... an interpreter has the right of his / her own understanding about the intentions of a composer, that's what it make creative art work. Doubling the speed of interstellar indeed creates a very strong emotion ... imagine a steel factory where iron is casted ... it feels like to look into hell seeing the liquid metal at 1-2000 degrees flowing into cast forms ... this heavy growling sound would fit perfectly for such scenario. Pls keep going to share your rehearsals and performances. Greetings by heart from NL

This is why I love UA-cam. I stumbled across another video of someone else playing Piano and then the next autogenerated video was one of Anna’s playing an Einaudi song (but I had no idea who Einaudi was) the song was so beautiful I had to do a quick 20 minute deep dive into who Einaudi was (and even got sidetracked learning who Chopin was 😂) and was surprised to learn he was still alive- I thought he was a classical pianist from the 1800s lol
Short story long, after I learned all this in about 30 minutes I stumble on this video and get incredibly excited for this amazing moment. Never would I have realized how awesome this moment was, but after a quick rabbit hole on UA-cam, I can’t stop watching

The organ has got to be my second most favorite instrument of all time. It has an intensity to it that hits you right in the soul in a way I haven’t experience anywhere else. I can rarely listen for long without crying.
… but my number one favorite is the banjo 😅🤪 Because it has a rolling joy to it that is simply unmatched. Whatever denotation you might have, and whatever you might think about it - there’s no instrument out there that makes it harder to remain sad or angry when you listen to it.
One time, I was walking down a shopping street and a music shop started playing banjo music over the speakers… and I tell you, the entire street of people began smiling and laughing as they went. It was beautiful to see. So dismiss it as a lowly instrument if you want, but you can’t tell me the banjo doesn’t possess an almost magical ability to lighten the mood.
    Music, man… Music.
