Listend to this on my earphones, while sweeping up leaves in my garden. I hate garden work, but your enthusiasm is contagious and put a smile on my 53 year old face. Thank you for that! I will have to listen to some of this. My favourite album this far in 2023 is Green Lungs "Heathen land" und "100 gecs".
Thank you so much for saying that my friend! I'm so happy to have spread my enthusiasm to you through this video! Green Lung was pretty cool indeed. Cheers!
Hello guys. Thank you so much for watching and responding! It really means a lot! I wish you all the best for the future and consider it a blessing to have discovered you. Merry Christmas to you all!

Thank you very much for watching and sharing your list ! Indeed this is quite an interesting and eclectic mixture you have here. I love how in the same list, you put the Stones and Jordso but then also Blut aus nord and all of those death metal bands.
I love that Atavistia is your number one, my friend. This was in my top 10 for a big chunk of the year. It's just outside my top 30 now but it's been an amazing year for metal and I've listened to so many albums. Honestly my top 100 could all be in a top 10 list. Not enough people have been talking about this
Hello Chris. Many thanks for your comment! Glad that you also love Atavistia 😀. Indeed we've had an abundance of awesome releases. My list is merely a handful of them.
@heavysleeper1909 you have a lot of my favourites on your list, man. I would love to say Atavistia was my number one but around the top 30 mark for me is a 9/10. So it's certainly not a low ranking considering the amount of albums I went through this year. Also, I'm not as big on power metal as you but you had my 2 favourites in your top 10. One being Lovebites and the other being Sacred Outcry of course. The latter blew me away. I love finding great power metal because when I find something great in that genre, I adore it. Sacred Outcry is an instant classic.
@@Oldy-Sepulchre Yeah same for me my #30 is pretty much a 9/10 and my #50 is already an 8,5/10. I'm super happy that you found some of your favourites in here! I believe that Sacred Outcry will be renowned as a classic band of this era. If you want, feel free to share your best of In the comments. I'd be interested to see your picks👍
@heavysleeper1909 I'll absolutely share my Albums ranked when I've completely decided on it haha. There's still some albums I wanna spin and there's a few I feel deserve relistens too. I've changed my mind on a lot of albums this year. Albums from Hanging Garden, Shores Of Null, Spirit Adrift etc I enjoyed on first listens but I ranked pretty low on my list. All of those have climbed very high since relistens.
@@Oldy-Sepulchre I totally understand that. My order has flip flopped all year long 😄. Even after making this video it will never be set in stone. Our tastes and moods change all the time.
Fantastic list! I’m glad it’s not just death Metal like all of the other lists and I love your enthusiasm. I like prog and love that you have DGM on here and Theocracy. I love the varied styles…you love metal in general and that’s great.
@@heavysleeper1909 Honestly I just veer away from satanic stuff. The really liked Sulpher Aeon when I first heard them but then I saw all the upside down crosses in their logo. They sing about freaking Cthulhu! What does that have to do with satanism? Ugh!
@@mtaffer Yeah I'm not into that stuff either but I don't take it seriously anyway. I think that the crosses in the logo are perhaps to evoke mystical horror rather than satanism.
Lovely channel dude, I watched all 3 of your music videos from start to finish! Did you check out the Medieval Death LP + DVD and the Mordicus “Rights ‘n Trials” LP! What is your opinion on these two 2023 releases?
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch all of that ! I really appreciate it. I only managed to find one track of each release that you just mentioned. The Mordicus song is fun but I feel it could use a bit more lead guitar imo however the Medieval death song I quite liked, good old school thrash vibes. Are you in those bands?
Hi. I agree, out of the two Medieval Death is my favoured. Yes, I released both on Yperano Records. Very small label and just a tinny amount of vinyl was pressed.@@heavysleeper1909
