- WHERE IS THE TRANSMISSION THERMOSTAT ON BMW
If you have BMW and you need to find where the transmission thermostat is located on your BMW we will demonstrate that in this video. The transmission thermostat is very important for the normal operation of your BMW transmission. Most of the times the transmission thermostat is located on a coolant housing close to the radiator on BMW. We demonstrated where is the transmission thermostat on BMW 3 series but the same procedure may apply to multiple models since BMW reuses their engines in multiple models.

Great videos!!!!! Let’s see one about the “seat back latch switch” I got to fix my daughters next week. This switch is in the front seats of the convertible 330ci. I’m getting a fault 73&74. It causes a air bag fault because the computer doesn’t know if the seat back is locked in place. Thanks for the great videos!!

I believe the transmission thermostat is located in the bottom of radiator (return tank), below the expansion tank on the early (04-06) E83 M54 engine, maybe all E83s. Just saying ...
Can't seem to find the thermostat where described. Can anyone help out. Trans oil thermostat
