A new line will cost you $160+ for the part plus labor, so not cheap. The pins don't create the seal, just keep the hose from sliding off. The o-ring inside creates the seal. You could simply wrap the end of the line in silicon tape. It bonds to itself when it touches itself in a wrap, and because it's silicone will resist high heat. $10 on Amazon
@lawpenner i can not find those O ring .any idea how can i solve my problem . Any link where i can find or whats the dimensions of O ring inside the pipe .
Update: I went to my local junk yard (pick n pull) and grabbed 4 of them just to have extras. You get a super small screw driver or pick and work at the tabs gently until you’re able to pry them off the hoses.
Hi there ive broken the plastic quick disconnect clips on my hoses..could you please mention a replacement part. What is it called? I looked around on google but i was unable to find. Thanks..wish i saw this video before getting under the car!
Do you mind pointing to which line is supply and which is return? I will be flushing the cooler and want to reverse flush. Edit: Just figured it out: The 90* pipe is the supply the semi-straight one is the return. So, to flush you would reverse the flow to remove contaminants. So, blow in through the return and out of the supply.
EXTREMELY ANNOYING how the next clip panels appear just before the end and cover up what we are trying to see. this happens on a lot of these videos. STOP IT PLEASE!!!
