    Mate, just tried this - absolute game changer! It’s mainly walking where my HR bugs me but with this taping there’s no ache… will give this a whirl while running as well to see if it’s fit for purpose for that too!

    Thank you for showing how to properly tape the foot. Do you have another tape you could recommend for someone that has a latex allergy?

      Currently going through gout and hallux rigidus. I don't have that latex tape so just used whatever i found in my house, which was masking tape and a small roll of black electrical tape. It actually works quite well.
      I'd first wrap masking tape around the arch and the big toe, before putting strips of it on the underside of the big toe (and the joint itself since my gout flares are really bad). Then I'd repeat the process with the electrical tape so everything is secure. Double-layering actually helps with balancing yourself when you walk, at least with me anyways.
      I'm no doctor, but please consult one if your condition worsens.
