Thanks so much for this video. I am a VERY new quilter at 73 and have a lot to learn and not a lot of time to do it.lol...I just purchased a q 20, but haven't gotten it yet. I just hope that I can learn to use it. I so appreciate your teaching and I wish you the best. Gloria Butler from Elizabethton, TN...
Cool. It's a sort of freeform baptist fan. As long as you keep the lines of stitching about the same distance apart it should be great! Thanks for this idea!
thank you for the inspiration!! I am using this idea on a quilt that should have been done over a year ago. Its for my very adorable great niece. I am loving how it looks!!
Hello! I just stepped out of my sewing room as I'm now working on Christmas gifts. I'm so grateful to be able to sit and watch your video. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead! Thank you for sharing this and for your time to make this.
Laura you are with out a doubt a beast. I mean that with the utmost respect. Your machines combined with your skills, I can only hope some day to learn to be just as good. Well how about just good.
I would like to try doing it with blocks that have different designs and make a quilt as you go quilt:) I have to practice at traveling to other areas and not getting long strings in the back
What a great quilting pattern!! Looks like fun and easy enough for a beginner like me! By any chance can you send some rain our way?? Very dry here in California!
...any tips on moving the quilt around, so the rainbows go in all directions? Mine are all going the same way...I'd like more variety of direction on mine....thankyou!
travel to the end of a rainbow, travel to the bottom and start. You know that starting line that I started with :) you need to get to the other side of that line
Thank you for your generous sharing in quilting techniques! I have a Babylock Elisimo and want to user rulers. What presser foot do you recommend for the Elisimo to use with rulers?
it would be like this. you will need to check if you have a low shank or a high shank babylock.com/accessories/sewing-feet/open-toe-ruler-foot-low-shank
You may have to read your mfg manual. I think you may be right. Mine with the spring is called a darning and free motion. But you want to be sure before you get started.

Rainbows are a sign from God that he will never flood the world again.
shame those trolling for recruits from our children confiscated the rainbow to make their agenda less noxious and more innocent seeming to children
On regular machine one used a free motion foot with the spring ? Thanks
