Great vid. What a pain just to change spark plugs! I just bought a 2017 LS and am planning to do a SP change. Question...do the Chevy Spark's take regular size spark plugs like any other vehicle? The kind that you can buy at any auto accessory/parts shop? Thanks in advance for your reply.

My car started rpm fluctuation after changing the spark plugs. Can you help what's the problem?
Do you mean only in the idle state? Have you disconnected any of ECM, PCM, fuse or battery? Then you should configurate the idle control valve.
1. Turn ignition to "ON" for 5 seconds.
2. Turn ignition to "OFF" for 10 seconds.
3. Turn ignition to "ON" for 5 seconds.
4. Start Engine in "Park" or "Neutral".
5. Keep engine idling till coolant temperature is above 85°C.
6. If available, turn air condition on for 10 seconds.
7. If available, turn air condition off for 10 seconds.
8. If car has automatic gearbox, applay the handbrake. Step on brake pedal and shift into D (Drive).
9. If available, turn air condition on for 10 seconds.
10. If available, turn air condition off for 10 seconds.
11. Turn off the ignition. Configuration finished.

New Spark plug gap?
I am glad I did not attempt this.My last car you simply pulled the leads off and removed the plugs.
This is ridiculous, making it much harder than needed. Watch others for faster quicker methods without taking all these parts off. Such as "Chevy Spark Spark plugs and ignition coil replacement".

It’s still easier than some other cars. Look at how this is done in a Mercedes A-Class or Nissan Qashqai 2.0 🙂
the worst mistake you made is dropping the new sparkplugs in..... YOU never do that you can mess up the gap on the sparkplug
Mine did not require that much work. He’s just doing extra stuff no need for all that
