THAR is recommended for cities now a days...a city like Bangalore is full of potholes and THAR is selling like hot cakes here thanks to detoriating road infrastructure!😢😢
The Creta is an SUV only in the land of the sub-4-meter sedan. The sheer gall to claim "India's #1 SUV Maker" without making one single SUV is baffling.
I got a Hyundai Verna looking at all the UA-cam reviews, it is indeed an excellent car but one area it falls short is the driving dynamics.. Hyundai was, is never a drivers car even today.
Why not compare the xuv 700 with the Roxx ? Wouldn’t that be a more apt comparison for people who want an suv and can’t decide whether they need off-roadability or not
I am always a "content" man, but for a change I really, really liked the "presentation" this time. Absolutely superb! Kudos to both of you and the entire crew!!
Finally, after a gap of few years I am really happy to see our very own PD is back!!! The old PD, wherein we not only discussed about cars, but interwoven the details into an entire episode of entertainment, knowledge and epic cinematography!!! Thanks Ten Hut, Cyrus, Karan and the entire team... especially the video editing and shooting team...❤
Anyone noticed the broken front bumper of the Thar during the clip of off-roading , it’s wobbly. Powerdrift team kindly notice if it’s the vehicles original fault or that particular unit’s defect.
it is not a broken bumper. the front bumper is attached directly to the ladder frame. so when the ladder frame moves coz of bad roads, the bumper moves with it. The body of the car is placed on top of the ladder frame and it moves independently. And yes, it does look wobbly and it will
Yeah even I first thought that bumper looks soft and wobbly. But then the showroom guy told me that I can literally sit on it and it will handle it because it is attached to chassis. It actually did took all my weight and I weigh 90 kgs I guess that explains why it wobbles with every jump.
Cool location, timing and awesome movie experience.. congrats! potential movie actors, director , editor and videographer🎉.. so both of you picked up right car for your body kind, Roxx is not for soft and gentleman’s.. don’t get me wrong pls 😊
Those locations, those drone shots. I started watching this channel when the standard 500 review came out. It has come such a long way while preserving its charm. Kudos.
Considering the waiting period of Mahindra cars and the frequent reliability issues that are seen, not just Mahindra but also in Tata cars. So, if you can risk it, get the Thar, else for city driving, more comfort, etc then have the Creta....maybe the Seltos but ya..
@@elemental9039 4:08 watch it at half speed, notice the wheels and bumper, there is not only up and down movement which is okay but side to side movement. Check our other videos of jimny or even 3 door thar and in those vids during similar small jumps the chassis stays stiff.
I think adding Rohan driving Curvv to the mix would have been a awesome treat to do and watch alike. Just waiting for the Sierra to come into the party next year on that new ATLAS 4X4 ready platform.
The cinematography was top notch. Keep going . All points were touched. Superb. One request of possible. 3 years ago , you guys did comparison of NS200 and RTR 200 in form of news debate. Can you please do such thing again. It was fun. Varun , Karan and Mediator. Would be fun
Both are different in its own ways. the strength and weaks of them speak for themselves. vice versa one cannot replace the other . CRETA is a proven SUV and car like character is its merits. ROXX is an SUV and built for the Purpose and I don''t know why any one need a THARR without a 4X4 capability? and when the THARR-ROXX built with a character it owns and put to use like a car ? competing with CRETA is something odd.
The most sensible SUV is the all wheel drive grand Vitara that is comfortable to drive in the city and won't burn a hole in your pocket whenever you take it on a drive. People acting as though we are a Gulf State where petrol costs 10 Rupees a liter lol. Just did a drive of 1500 kms and had to spend almost 10k on fuel alone in my fuel efficient hatchback. I can only imagine the additional cost driving these petrol guzzling vehicles.🤣
While you might be getting an SUV like the Grand Vitara for pure practicality. There is a chunk of SUV-lovers who don't always look at efficiency only. Some of them want to have road presence, fun, a powerful motor and the practicality of seating 5. Hope you understand :)
definitely Trox wins here for sheer pleasure of driving and pushing limits for those who loves drive .. for Mango people Creta is new love ... so both can co live in a urban jungle !!!
I LOVE THE THAR ROXX… THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO OF THAR ROXX THAT I HAVE SEEN SO FAR GUYS!!! 😊😊😊 MAKES ME LOVE THE ROXX EVEN MORE… I HOPE THAT ONE DAY THIS ROXX WILL SHARE MY HOME GARAGE WITH ITS BIG BRO MY FAV AND FAB CAR XUV 700…

Nooo ! The Creta has pathetic headlights. I should know - I have the DCT N10 version, which incidentally is due for its first service. I’ve tried the after market but it’s too early - no “fog light” fittings available and the headlight units are sealed - the LED inside can’t be upgraded. Oh well, let’s give it a few more months and I’m sure we will see some sort of “fog light” fittings in the after market that will increase the throw of the headlights.
how are they rival ? in city CRETA is the best . why would anyone buy Thar roxx for city drive ? half the mileage of creta , too tall to enter , Creta much more comfort and features
N line is a cheetah and the thar roxx is a lion… N line is mainly for a power rider to blast the roads It won’t get the road presence and the feel of sitting in an elephant That’s y I’m going to get the thar roxx😂
Back in 2015 i saw your video of the KTM 390 and got it. Well this video makes me wanna get my self a Thar ❤ BTW lots of love , you guys are amazing. Please mention these amazing amazing places you guys go to. Like this one. ❤️
@powerdriftofficial how much less comfortable will be thar roxx for everyday use and sometimes long road trips when compared to creta or xuv700. Will there be huge difference or just be 19-20 ka fark . Superconfused which one to choose . Please reply🙏
I’d say the Thar would be a noticeable amount less comfortable for rear seat passengers over a long distance journey. About 25% as compared to a Creta or similar
is it a car review or a movie?
😊😊😊 we love reading such comments. Much love to all you guys out there who watch our stuff!

Ooh that Shadow grey is our favourite too!

In what way is i20 N line superior to creta n line in terms of driving dynamics?
I absolutely love the drama that all the Power Drift videos brings along ❤

creta is crossover

Is the thar's whole chassis flexing and wobbling during off-roading and those small jumps. Is the chassis that weak???
It’s supposed to do that. If it was stiff you’d break your back
