Dear Biturbo your information is way far from correct. You should be cautious while making such videos. Here are the answers your incorrect points. PPF: Opening parts: If you are going to get ppf installed by a noob for a cheaper quote maybe then he won’t be able to fix parts properly. A professional with great experience would never let such things happened. PPF Yellow: cheaper quality ppf made with mixed of pvc with tpu material or tph with tpu may turn yellow. But high quality brands which ppf roll costs for approx 40,000/- above and 100% tpu won’t turn yellow. It would hardly make a slight change in colour and that also you won’t be able to see on non white cars. Price: any ppf roll below the cost of inr 35,000 is not worth to get installed on your car as informed above. But roll above this cost can be considered good for 3-4 years although companies give 5 years life. Any roll of upto 50-60k should be good enough for minimum 5 years and that though with self healing of upto 2 years and gloss and protection for 5 years. Application cost should be from 10-15k depending upon expertise of installer. And every studio would charge approx 20-25k for getting this job done with highest possible standards which includes paint correction (also on new car) and responsibility for coming years (means warranty). Accident on PPF: in many cases ppf protects the paint and itself where in impact was not too deep. For example car used on roads which has bushes on the side. Swirl marks and deep scratches happening during daily cleaning which turns black cars into kind of greyish tone. Denting cheaper than ppf: but what about quality of denting painting ? OEM finish is barely possible to achieve even by service Center’s. Only few talented professionals can achieve good finish but they charge a lot higher than what you said. Self healing life: baar baar scratch padne se self healing khatam nahi hoti bhai (hey bhagwan) it depends upon material if the materials top layer is hard then it would self heal for approx 2-3 years if your usage is approx 25-30k kms per year. Self healing life reduces when you clean your car in rough manner . Slowly by time self healing layer gets removed due to rough cleaning just like we get our paint rubbed to remove scratches and that process removes few microns of paint. If you clean your ppf with spraying water and gently you can increase self healing life. Also if ppf material is cheaper and self healing layer is soft. Then it would stop self healing in approx one year . But still you have your glossy ppf which is protecting paint. PPF removing paint: 5 rs main Kaua biryani hi milegi. Bhai Jab ppf lagwane jaate ho toh sabse sasta rate dhoondte ho. Quality nahi. Search for quality material . Lagwa kahin se bhi lo. But material should be 100% TPU and of well known international brand. All these ppf with the names of guard, ultra, shine, dragon etc etc are absolute garbage. Some good brands are - NAR, Bremen, Saint Gobain, Lumar, Avery Dennison, Xpel , Stek. Ceramic coating: Only good gloss and hydrophobic effect lasts as per usage. I have seen hydrophobic effect lasting for 1 and half year where car was driven hardly 12000 kms always parked inside and always washed with Ph neutral shampoo. I have also seen same coating hydrophobic effect lasting only 2 months because car use to go for normal foam was which is alkaline in nature and car is parked outdoors . But that does not mean coating is not on vehicle if hydrophoc effect stops. You can again get hydrophobic effect with ceramic boosters. Use them as maintenance after every month. DIY ceramics: bhai kuch bhi guide kar rahe ho. Proper professional coating require paint correction job before putting on any coating. Main job is paint correction coating is just a sealant. But it requires tempreature 20-27 degrees where ever it’s getting installed and humidity level should be below 50% for best results. Padhai likhai karo ias yas bano kin chakkro main pade ho bhai ?
Ppf have become a way to attract clout for certain youtubers which is why there price has inflated so much and this has also created a lot of misconceptions amongst people.
I spent approx 3 lakh on 3M 200 gloss self healing + ceramic infused PPF, from 3M car care showroom. After 1 year , self healing + ceramic properties stopped working. 3M Company Did not even provide warranty claim, and put the blame on customer - that car was not washed properly. PPF is total Scam. If 3m is this bad , others will be much worse. It may sound unbeleivable , But truth is bitter. The 3M car care showroom opened/dismantled my brand new Audi's parts like doors , dickey , side mirrors etc.. and some parts were opened without my permission , as many customers cancel the ppf deal if they are told that their brand new car parts will be opened/dismantled. From that day, side mirror keeps making noise and dickey get stuck many times and does not open. So guys, Just get full body rubbing if you want to remove swirl marks, whenever the car goes for service once a year, nothing else to be done. Otherwise You will pay huge money for harming your car + wasting your time and money.
I have been using kits from amazon since the last 3 years and it seems to work wonders. Really no point in investing in PPF when I'm also paying for bumper to bumper insurance to cover every damage on the car. It's India and gadi agar niklegi to thukegi, scratch padegi...it's inevitable. Bike wala, Van wala, Rickshaw ka kaam hi hai ye. What I do is I wait for a few months for some major damage to happen and then get everything fixed under insurance. Koi showpiece toh hai nahi, kaam ki cheez hai. Scratch padna hi hai kuch bhi bol lo. Bekaar ke hai ye saare paint protection investments. Great video as always 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Firstly you make great videos and they are very informative. Please make a video on car after market accessories. I have heard people saying your warranty voids, Insurance clams are rejected because of this. Seen the video makes of these car accessories shops, they open all doors and change steering wheels and enabling features like cruise control , does it effect locks quality and what about coupler to coupler fitting clams coz we never really know what are they gonna do with wirings. Those base to top conversions are getting popular these days
All recent base models are featureless. Also need a grasp on which are the features we should get installed. I want things like 360 camera, rear wiper, better speakers, cruise control etc. , but not sure from insurance and quality perspective if these changes should be made.
Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) which is part of PPF sheet is a polymer that can yellow upon exposure to sunlight, mainly due to photo-oxidative degradation. This process is driven by ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun, which breaks down the chemical bonds within the polymer. In the presence of oxygen, UV light accelerates oxidation. The reaction can be summarized as follows, where R represents polymer chains: RH (polymer)+O2→UV R• (radical)+HO• (radical) . This radical HO is what causes degradation and yellowing of the polymer. As everyone would have noticed, melamine plates that we use in Kitchen turn yellow after a year or two, it's because HO radical has been formed.
Glad someone spoke about tearing down a new car for applying PPF. Would break my heart to see my car like that. Also it does not make sense to spend 10-15% of car value on PPF, I would consider it for cars over 45-50 lakh on road price.
Been scouring automotive content for the past 20+ years, really inspiring to view your content. You have exceptional research and representation skills.
Thanks for giving an honest opinion. Car manufacturers make products after extensive research. Don't know how people rely more on roadside shops for detailing and accessories
Teflon and wax don’t offer protection but enhance the gloss finish of the vehicle. Ceramic coating apply krte time paint to properly clean krke indoors mein lagana chahiye in a relatively colder temp. 9h hardness ceramic/ graphene coatings are expensive if done by a professional with right tools. PPFs are a better option for ORVMs, and door scuff plate area, and bumpers. As there are the areas which get most scratches.
@ yes, it’s a time taking process. But can be done easily at home. You can also try turtle hybrid’s spray ceramic coating or of any other brands. It’s easy to do, lasts about 6 months and is inexpensive.
@@vedantwkr if a youtuber runs a channel making numerous videos about why ppf is useful, how great his ppf quality is etc and promoting them, indirectly convincing you to get one for your car, while you know the product itself is overpriced, useless waste of money as stated in the video, it is a scam. Looks like you need to rewatch the video my friend.
I apply Teflon costing on my car every 6 months. It is more than enough for a normal person. My car is 6yrs old and still shines like new ❤️ no need to waste money on ppf
I’m not sure where you’re getting your information, but I’ve been detailing in Canada for over three years, specializing in paint protection film (PPF) applications. The way we handle PPF is both advanced and effective, and it’s very different from what you’ve described. Yellowing is no longer an issue with quality PPF, as long as it’s maintained properly-just like any other protective layer. PPF is specifically designed to protect your paint from rock chips, not to guard against major scratches. If your previous experience hasn’t met these standards, I’d recommend finding a detailer who understands the current best practices.
Bro your condition are quite different than what it is in India ......rock chips are too common moreover there is no civics sense of car length gaps here it's bumper to bumper in traffic so rubbing from a two wheeler is a weekly basis affair and no cares for insurance for a rub ........morever India recieve sunlight for 8 months that is more less perpendicular to surface so it's a different affairs between India and Canada ...I guess whatever was spoken here is quite relative to India.
You live in Canada dude where there's barely UV rays If i am spending 1.5 lakh, it better be a one time investment instead of me maintaining it all the time.
It’s a very good analysis. Regarding PPF, it is useful for expensive and off road vehicles. Ceramic quoting will not give you protection as PPF. Ceramic quoting will not save your car paint from small stone chips. Good quality PPF applied by professionals will be a good for cars, specifically if you are doing more off roading. You can also use semi PPF Quoting and rest nano ceramic quoting. (Like bumpers can have PPF, rest ceramic.) Yellowing will certainly be a problem with white cars, but will hardly affect other colors. Nowadays PPF comes with anti yellowing formulas. All in all, whether it’s nano ceramic , PPF or Teflon, if you give it to some roadside vendor with no proper expertise, he will surely ruin your car. This is one service which should have no compromise on quality of work or material. Rat mesh is one thing I am certainly considering applying in my car. I was not aware of this.
Conclusion is you should only do three things: 1. Ceramic: Khud kar lo. 2. Anti Rust: Bahar se karwa lo. 3. Rat mesh: Bahar se lagwa lo. From reading comments, chaho to: 1. Amazon se car care kits combo le lo. 2. Get bumper to bumper insurance to cover every damage on the car.
PPF can be done on front bumper, bonnet and on ORVMs if the car is being driven majorly on highways to prevent any minor damages from small pebbles. Ceramic only if one wants a glossy hydrophobic finish. Teflon / wax is the best in terms of VFM considering cost vs protection preposition.
Sir what a timing, abhi apki hi dostcast pe apki podcast dekh raha tha. I would suggest everyone to watch that podcast, that's too informative for all ❤
8:52 completely agree with you. An extra anti-rust coating layer may require in moist regions. However, you didn't criticised about the applicators and service providers, like you did with PPF service providers. Car bodies, exhaust, braking system, drive shaft, links, lines must be properly covered, but shops generally don't make such preperations. Hot exhaust covered in coating may result in fire. Improper application may also result in general servicing the vehicle.
Your videos are really informative....I really love them....I have noticed how structural they are like first you start like an introduction then a lot of information without any cringe or going off topic...and then in last everytime there is a conclusion which everytime is like very sensible no nonsense.. really appreciate it keep doing this bro❤️
Rat mesh has just one problem, your car's chassis will be drilled for the screws to hold the SS mesh. This can cause early rusting of your car. If you want to install rat mesh in your car, get your chassis drilled, after that get anti-rust protection done and then install the mesh.
finally someone said it..! idk how are educated people are falling for a scam like PPF, spending lakhs on your car for just protection from minor scratches is literally so stupid.. i would rather paint the whole panel in fraction of the cost... infact painting the whole car would cost less.
I've been following Larry from AMMO NYC for a while, and I've never seen him apply ppf on the whole car. He always applies it only on the bonnet and front side panels.
Exactly..this ppf shit is crazy.. people are buying cars in emi that to hatch back thn applying ppf which is 10 to 15% of the car. Repainting dents and scratches makes more sense thn ppf...and tbh i have never seen a car with a higher resale value because of ppf.
@@saurabhkesharwani6143 I use the Graphene coating by ShineX Pro. 1. Wash your car. 2. Wipe it dry. 3. Apply the ShineX Pro spray & wipe it off. Make sure to not apply when vehicle is hot or where there is sunlight. You can do it monthly or once in 2 months
I have alto 800 which is 11 year old. No coatings at all and still working fine, I am not going for reapinting because it has only 4 year validity left. I believe cost of repainting is less and it provide effective solution.
Do have any video on car shampoos, which one to use? And how to wax the car ourselves, should we buy a buffing machine or no? Please make a tutorial video on this.
Perhaps true. Need to balance cost of car vs cost of application. Then it also depends on air particles and rain (like dust and salts) and harshness of the sun. Based on these, the plastics can deteriorate faster… considering basic chemistry.
You are a legend for uncovering this scam… I always wondered why people even bother about ppf on 20-30 lakh rupee car. Unless you are buying a high end luxury car near 1-Cr.. ppf doesn’t make sense as a percentage of the car cost..
I got a PPF applied recently but for me the reason was entirely cosmetic. My car is around 4 years old and I wanted it to be a bit different so I went for a repaint and a matt chrome ppf which actually made my car look more beautiful.
Ppf provides the best protection out of all applications. I've ppf in my bike and after 1 and half years I've not a single scratch and no yellowing on my bikes paint
@@zub07 there is difference between ppf on bike and a car. Bike is a compact thing usually parked inside homes and most of the time away from direct sunlight while on the other hand most of the people who own cars doesn't have parking space and they most of the time park outside their homes exposing them to direct sunlight.
When I bought my new car I ordered a ceramic liquid for 1800rs, watched some 10 videos on application and later I only appled it. Noe its more than a year and the coat is still intact. Now I have purchased Turtle ceramic wax for 2000rs which can be applied for 10 times and one application lasts for 5 months. I have been applying this wax for my both cars and they are perfect. Ceramic/wax is only for protecting paint from UV rays, oxidation and bird droppings, it cannot protect paint from scratches
People should understand why PPF is important for your car. It saves your from minor scratches. Easy to maintain your car from dust and easy to clean your car and shine as new car. Main point is it saves you from stone chipping on highway which damage your car paint. And the main point it save your car paint from bird dropping which will be acidic and damage your car paint. I have experienced in bird dropping case where my car parks in open parking and because of bird dropping my paint got damaged 😢 and cracks took place in the shape of bird dropping. This is the reason PPF is important to apply. It acts like screengaurd to your car
Finally, somebody spoke up. I'm an automotive paint dealer based in Gurgaon and I completely agree with the guy. PPF is a waste of money, you guys can go with the ceramic/graphene coating. It's a good investment, doesn't cost much and does the job well. The wax doesn't stay for long (a week to a month) and requires a lot of effort if you decide to do it on your own. Overall, ceramic or graphene is suitable and the best option available at present.
@saurabhkesharwani6143 you need a little bit of experience to operate a rotary polisher. Take your vehicle to any nearby car wash, they'll apply the wax for you. Tho, you can buy one for yourself but be careful with the rpm's, even experts sometimes mess up.
I differ with your on the anti rust coating. If the anto rust is not done on a totally dry & clean surface, it becones the cause of rusting as it locks the moisture & dirt in!
*I really respect your view & follow your content BUT as an Offroader cum SUV owner - i can confirm a superior quality PPF (1.9 Lac) makes a hell & heaven difference on car body* Totally worth it🤞🏼
Brother ceramic coating/ graphene coating life also depends on how it gets maintained too. Teflon is a banned product and no more available in market. It’s a scam now of someone sells u Teflon Nano coating is not advisable to apply just like that. Spray form coating which gives a quick coat and gloo can be considered as a DIY coating. But a concrete coating always depend on a passionate and professional Detailer nearby.
Anti-rust has a fundamental flaw. The mechanic/detailer that applies the coating, does not clean the underbody thoroughly. There is existing dust in the underbody over which they apply the anti-rust. That kinda defeats the purpose of it.
Then that's not Anti-rust's flaw, it is the fault of the detailer. But I think if you tell them or guide them beforehand or go to a skilled and experienced detailer, this shouldn't be an issue.
I know someone who has around 10-12 cars in his garrage and non of his cars have ppf on it yet all his cars are in good condition. He just parks his cars under shade and takes good care of them.
Guys, in my opinion, don't waste your money on any 3rd-party services (PPF, Ceramic, Teflon, etc.) right after getting a new car. Brands deliver cars that are built to withstand regular use, so spending extra on these services doesn’t make much sense. At the end of the day, it’s just a metal box that helps you travel. Drive carefully, but don’t overly prioritize it. If there were a product you could apply to your skin to prevent aging, I’d recommend spending on that instead! Also, in my opinion, avoid putting a cheap seat cover on your car. Enjoy the soft, cushy new seats for a few years. Covering them with a mediocre cover is like preserving them for the next owner when you sell it. Just use your car as you wish... Enjoy it ! After 5-6 years, get it detailed for around 5-10k, and it’ll feel like new again. Aim to use your car long-term to reduce unnecessary waste.
Use Turtle ice seal n shine. Do it yourself, if you care for your vehicle. You can’t prevent scratches happening on India roads but you can choose to be a good driver.
I disagree that PPFs (Paint Protection Films) are a scam for the most part. I own a black Verna Turbo that I purchased last year. Initially, I was hesitant about PPF due to its price and the lack of authenticity signs. One seller in Andheri was offering Garware PPF with an 8-year warranty for 55k, while another quoted 97k. I decided to contact Garware directly, and they provided a list of nearby authorized detailers. I ultimately went with one of them for 80k. The reason I chose PPF was that my car is black, which requires extra care. I wasn’t fully aware of this since it’s our first car. During regular driving-over 14,000 kilometers-I noticed many stone chips, swirl marks, and minor scratches from cats in my society, as I’m a cat feeder. They often climb on the car and wait for me. Lastly, since this is our first car, I have emotional attachments to it, and I wanted to give it the best care possible. I also don’t plan on selling it anytime soon
@@33_chaitanyagadkari64 Brother here the math Suppose one of the ur bumber got damaged., thn cost of repainting the bumper will be cheaper thn some high end films. When you go to sale your car its very unlikely Someone will be paying you a premium for the ppf, Even a minor repainting on dents before selling will do the job. Ppf makes only sense on luxury cars where cost of repainting is very high in dealers.
I live in Mumbai, and every alternate weekend, I visit Lonavala. There, stone chipping is as common as Maganlal chikki. I believe that repainting reduces the resale value of a car. Beyond just resale, repainting is never the same as the original paint because the first coat is applied by a machine, while subsequent layers are applied by workers, leading to noticeable quality differences. But why be so negative ki ye hoga vo hoga? let's be realistic: if a car is driven on the road, something is bound to happen eventually. Should we avoid using the car out of fear? I also asked about the charges for replacing a section of paint protection film (PPF) if it gets damaged. He quoted ₹450 per square foot for that service.
@ just a suggestion - ceramic coating n all from niche companies is fine but if ever planning for a ppf go for reputed brands. Aegis has lifetime warranty but what if he goes out of business in few years? Phir kya karega lifetime warranty ka?
Good guidance and we have been fooled in the past with PPF and all this nonsense... I really did not think through the decision it was just impulsive. Now this was really good.. took some pointers for next time
@annoynommus yeah, but that's the point, you would've to paint a accidental car eitherway, PPF don't protect the paint from major accident. Why bother putting PPFs on C segment cars.
I disagree on the PPF. My points are as follow: 1. Instead of looking at the actual cost of application, think in terms of percentages. For example if a car costs 1Cr, a 1L PPF is only 1% but for a 10L car, thats 10%. So dont go by absolute value of the application but look at the ratio. The cost of repainting a panel in a GLE is not the same as that of a verna or city. 2. Consider this. A german brand or an expensive car is more likely to spend long time waiting for parts at the workshop as compared to a mass market product. The service center is NOT going to take care of your car and is going to lie in their yard for weeks. Consider bird droppings as a BIG problem as these can burn through ceramic coat as well as clear coat and make permanent marks on expensive paints. PPF fairs better here. I have had first hand experience when the starter motor in my X3 burned out prematurely and the vehicle spent 3 weeks at the yard. The car had just been freshly ceramic coated but when I got my car back I had bird marks all over the bonnet. It was so disheartening 3. Ceramic/ Teflon are shams. They last only a few washes and get back to original state in a few months. 4. Forget self healing - If the PPF is thick enough it can save your from minor brushes. When I got my GLE (coming from X3) I was not used to the size difference. Just as I was driving out of PPF shop, I had a minor brush on the front left and the Rift taxi had some good scratches. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the PPF took up the entire brunt of the damage. I decided to not get it fixed as you can never be sure in bangalore. However the resale value of the vehicle - esp for luxury/ exotic ones - is totally dependent on the touches you make. 5. Lastly most luxury car dealers or high end vehicles offer PPF service as part of their internal offers. This is to ensure that trained people open up the vehicle. Yes, you pay a lot more but think about how much expensive it will be if something were to go wrong. Cheers
kudos bro , very true & helpful topic to car community you chosen , dont know why people is crazy about ppf nowdays , it is not worthy of your single penny guys , dont fall on that self healing & coating gimmicks

For those suggesting that painting is a better option than PPF (paint protection film), consider this: how many times would you repaint your entire car just to fix minor swirls, scratches, iron contamination, or oxidation? These issues are recurring and cause continuous wear on your car's finish. Repainting every time simply isn’t practical. And let’s be clear: repainting will not give you that original factory finish and gloss. Some might suggest paint correction as an alternative, but how often can you actually perform paint correction? Every layer of paint has a limited thickness, so multiple corrections are not sustainable. The primary purpose of PPF and ceramic coating is to provide daily protection from environmental damage like oxidation and minor scratches, helping to maintain that showroom-quality finish over time. . Detailing is for people who truly care about their cars and want to preserve them at their best.
I own a Hatchback the time i bought it i was researching about ppf. And finally decided to not apply. I saved my 50k. Because its been 5years & almost every year i claimed insurance of my car. And some panels were replaced. Can’t imagine i cost i would have to bare to get that ppf applied to those panels again & again.
I agree the PPF is costly, they asked me 1.5lac for my Honda City 2022 and I opted for Ceramic Coating considering the high cost OnRoad and the PPF 1.5 was out of my budget. Unfortunately, within 2 months, my car door panel got a big deep scratch that is soo long that I cannot cover it up without a complete repaint. I regret not getting the PPF. I wish we had long lasting PPF to justify the cost associated with it.
PPF can't avoid deep scratch, PPF is scam if you run car in bumper to bumper traffic. I wasted 1.7L on PPF. My car got scratches from a MCD truck and i have to to claim insurances and then again paid for PPF.
Thank you for addressing such an important point. Our country is densely populated with all kids and sizes of vehicles and kisi ne aake thok diya toh baat khatam. PPF has become a racket and every garage has one.
I completely agree with him. Have done it two times on two different cars in span of 2 years, this is useless and huge waste of money. Even ceramic coating is not really great in my own personal experience
The information was correct but not 100% 👎🏻 1. PPF is helpful in the long run if maintained properly. Any vehicle that hits the highway has to face rock chipping, especially in India. 2. PPF is to protect the paint from scratches and keep the paint quality as new as possible. Not to act as a shield from crashes. 3. In the end it is all about emotional value towards the vehicle to protect it. Higher the value, higher the emotion. However, companies that offer PPF as an option while buying the car also strip down the parts to apply PPF and outsource vendors to get the job done. Which costs almost double compared to detaining studios.
I think you are the only channel who spoke truth about PPF
Exactly 💯💯

Finally someone addressing the real automobile scam
Dear Biturbo your information is way far from correct. You should be cautious while making such videos. Here are the answers your incorrect points.
PPF:
Opening parts: If you are going to get ppf installed by a noob for a cheaper quote maybe then he won’t be able to fix parts properly.

What about no claim bonus? I get 40% discount due to no claim bonus
40% is less than goodPPF cost also you can easily get bumper etc repainted at a low cost.
@@normalstranger6482It’s only good for the cars whose value is above 50lakhs
What kits ??

Firstly you make great videos and they are very informative.
Please make a video on car after market accessories. I have heard people saying your warranty voids, Insurance clams are rejected because of this.
Seen the video makes of these car accessories shops, they open all doors and change steering wheels and enabling features like cruise control , does it effect locks quality and what about coupler to coupler fitting clams coz we never really know what are they gonna do with wirings. Those base to top conversions are getting popular these days
Yes it's true, I couldn't get claim for one of my flooded due to aftermarket parts
Agree 👍
All recent base models are featureless. Also need a grasp on which are the features we should get installed. I want things like 360 camera, rear wiper, better speakers, cruise control etc. , but not sure from insurance and quality perspective if these changes should be made.
Just like sunroof is not for our country, PPF and Ceramic coating has become a craze without any logic but only ornamental
The reaction can be summarized as follows, where R represents polymer chains:
RH (polymer)+O2→UV R• (radical)+HO• (radical) .
Good point! 👍🏼
Should one but a buffing machine for home use for wax? Can anyone do it? 🤔
@ yes, it’s a time taking process. But can be done easily at home. You can also try turtle hybrid’s spray ceramic coating or of any other brands. It’s easy to do, lasts about 6 months and is inexpensive.

There is nothing called teflon coating
You live in Canada dude where there's barely UV rays
If i am spending 1.5 lakh, it better be a one time investment instead of me maintaining it all the time.
(Like bumpers can have PPF, rest ceramic.)
Yellowing will certainly be a problem with white cars, but will hardly affect other colors.
Conclusion is you should only do three things:
1. Ceramic: Khud kar lo.
2. Anti Rust: Bahar se karwa lo.
3. Rat mesh: Bahar se lagwa lo.
From reading comments, chaho to:
1. Amazon se car care kits combo le lo.
2. Get bumper to bumper insurance to cover every damage on the car.
He he! ☺️
You read most of the comments! 👍🏼
Very helpful information for a car 🚗 PPF and ceramic coating. 100 percent rights & truly your advice 🙏
Should one buy a buffing machine for home use for wax? Can anyone do it? 🤔
Honesty radiates from your face while you speak. it's a rarity nowadays that youtubers are doing social cause like this, thanks Bhai

Exactly. Simply get the whole car repainted after 5 years. Premium paint jobs would cost you the same.

Perhaps true. Need to balance cost of car vs cost of application. Then it also depends on air particles and rain (like dust and salts) and harshness of the sun. Based on these, the plastics can deteriorate faster… considering basic chemistry.

Who knows nothing 😂
You are a legend for uncovering this scam… I always wondered why people even bother about ppf on 20-30 lakh rupee car. Unless you are buying a high end luxury car near 1-Cr.. ppf doesn’t make sense as a percentage of the car cost..
I got a PPF applied recently but for me the reason was entirely cosmetic. My car is around 4 years old and I wanted it to be a bit different so I went for a repaint and a matt chrome ppf which actually made my car look more beautiful.
Teflon coating is a big scam😅
do ceramic one, Teflon is cheaper doesn't means it's a scam
Ppf provides the best protection out of all applications. I've ppf in my bike and after 1 and half years I've not a single scratch and no yellowing on my bikes paint
@@zub07 how much you spend on ppf and whats your bike cost
@@zub07 there is difference between ppf on bike and a car. Bike is a compact thing usually parked inside homes and most of the time away from direct sunlight while on the other hand most of the people who own cars doesn't have parking space and they most of the time park outside their homes exposing them to direct sunlight.
@@Aka_768 I've dominar 400 and my ppf cost was 8k with 5 years warranty. And on cars ppf cost is around 80k for 5 years warranty.
I have done PPF, it does help in preventing minor scratches.
Which brand’s ceramic coating did you use?
People should understand why PPF is important for your car. It saves your from minor scratches. Easy to maintain your car from dust and easy to clean your car and shine as new car. Main point is it saves you from stone chipping on highway which damage your car paint. And the main point it save your car paint from bird dropping which will be acidic and damage your car paint. I have experienced in bird dropping case where my car parks in open parking and because of bird dropping my paint got damaged 😢 and cracks took place in the shape of bird dropping. This is the reason PPF is important to apply. It acts like screengaurd to your car
cost is a factor dude
Finally, somebody spoke up. I'm an automotive paint dealer based in Gurgaon and I completely agree with the guy. PPF is a waste of money, you guys can go with the ceramic/graphene coating. It's a good investment, doesn't cost much and does the job well. The wax doesn't stay for long (a week to a month) and requires a lot of effort if you decide to do it on your own. Overall, ceramic or graphene is suitable and the best option available at present.
Good point! 👍🏼
Should one buy a buffing machine for home use for wax? Can anyone do it? 🤔
Paise basane ke liye base model lete or bad mein Dil khol ke after market mein psisa uddate 😂😂😂
It’s a scam now of someone sells u Teflon
Nano coating is not advisable to apply just like that.
👏
Then that's not Anti-rust's flaw, it is the fault of the detailer. But I think if you tell them or guide them beforehand or go to a skilled and experienced detailer, this shouldn't be an issue.
This video should reach everyone who loves cars
Repainting will never be of factory quality
You can get better than oem finish if you have some decent budget, most indian made cars have shitty paint quality. orange peels are everywhere
I have used Graphene coating on my motorcycle it has been 8-9 months now and I'm more than happy and satisfied.
Teflon coating is waste of money.. go for ceramic or graphene coating but only if the car is new
Teflon coating is considered normal polish in most places
I know someone who has around 10-12 cars in his garrage and non of his cars have ppf on it yet all his cars are in good condition. He just parks his cars under shade and takes good care of them.

I have been using ppf since 5yrs, I have had no issues so far.

I loved your comments and compassion bro. Keep up the good work 👍
Guys, in my opinion, don't waste your money on any 3rd-party services (PPF, Ceramic, Teflon, etc.) right after getting a new car.

Brother here the math
Suppose one of the ur bumber got damaged., thn cost of repainting the bumper will be cheaper thn some high end films.
When you go to sale your car its very unlikely Someone will be paying you a premium for the ppf,
Even a minor repainting on dents before selling will do the job. Ppf makes only sense on luxury cars where cost of repainting is very high in dealers.
@@pdutta_indrepainting will reduce the resale value of the car. And the repainting will never be of a factory quality
I just sent my 2 years old sonet to carzspa for ceramic and nano coating 😅
@ just a suggestion - ceramic coating n all from niche companies is fine but if ever planning for a ppf go for reputed brands. Aegis has lifetime warranty but what if he goes out of business in few years? Phir kya karega lifetime warranty ka?

Cost of full body painting honda city is ₹30k in local and ₹45k in Honda dealership. Why would anyone apply more expe nsive PPF
Painting se resale value kaam hota hai bro. Even sometimes they took it as a accidental car.
@annoynommus yeah, but that's the point, you would've to paint a accidental car eitherway, PPF don't protect the paint from major accident. Why bother putting PPFs on C segment cars.
bhaiya is vedio ka thumbnail awesome hai aise hi type ke thumbnails apne aane wale vedios me rakha love uh from gurugram💖💖💖💖😌😌
I disagree on the PPF. My points are as follow:
It was so disheartening
Cheers
Chup saala.
kudos bro , very true & helpful topic to car community you chosen , dont know why people is crazy about ppf nowdays , it is not worthy of your single penny guys , dont fall on that self healing & coating gimmicks

Exactly, these repainting people won't understand this.
One of the best automotive content creators 😊❤

The information was correct but not 100% 👎🏻
