You’re incredible! I laughed when you said you may enter it into the bonus round and you ended up as one of the winners. I didn’t have time to try this month’s challenge and after watching how much work is involved, I wouldn’t have been able to do it in time. I admire how everything you do is excellent! I strive to get to your level one day.
Those are FANTASTIC!!!! I bet a lot of people would hang them on their tree especially if it has a Christmas type fragrance to it! GREAT job as always, Lisa! BRAVO!!!
Absolutely stunning soaps, Lisa! I bet you'll have no problem selling them. You really might consider making them a part of your regular inventory -- they're that nice! Thanks for the great tutorial and inspiration!
Those came out so pretty! I love the colors, and how delicate and varied the pattern became. I probably wouldn’t use them as tree ornaments, but I would absolutely hang them up to scent a space.
They are gorgeous and perfectly executed. I love the purple pink with the shade of green that you picked with the green ribbon! Using a bath bomb press is such a smart way to ensure that they are all perfectly round.
They came out beautifully! I loved them just as slices, also; they looked like psychedelic lemon slices or something. This is way more fiddly than I have the patience for, but i thoroughly enjoyed watching you make them!
Wow! They came out absolutely gorgeous! Although they probably wouldn't get hung on a tree, they miggt get hung in a shower! They are a brilliant! Lots of faffing so probably not worth making a heap, but in a gift box of 3 in Xmas colours - they'd be a brilliant gift. Thanks so much for sharing!! 😊
Faffy - my favorite Lisaism!! (I know it is a UK thing but I only think of it as a Lisa thing )😂❤. Beautiful soap! People probably looked at me funny when during my festival I literally laughed out loud when you said you were going to make 5 or so and then the next second there is a pile of them on the screen haha - one of the reasons I love you 😊
Love the Christmas tree balls!! Use a christmas fragrance, the tree would smell wonderful. I really like that technique. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!❤😊
Hi Lisa 👋🏼 I’ve known about your channel for a good while now, but have only really just started watching your videos properly this evening. Can I just say, wow! You are one of the most talented soap makers I have personally come across, and on top of that, you are so open and helpful with information on soap, and also the processes in making it. You have a really excellent teaching manner, keeping it nice and simple to understand, but without leaving any info out. That was all I wanted to say really! Well, that along with thank you! I’m a new soap maker, so these videos are so unbelievably helpful, and very enjoyable to watch indeed. Now that I’m really getting into soap making, i’m sure I will be watching much more regularly, so have now subscribed. So thank you again for taking the time to make these videos, and teaching us what you know! I hope you have a lovely week, and look forward to watching more!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, I really appreciate you taking the time to leave it, and it's always so encouraging when people find the things you do helpful - Thank you
Oh my , Wow they’re amazing. So pretty. Thanks for sharing your crafting skills with us. I know I’m nowhere near this level, but definitely want to give it a try for the holidays
The sadist in me hoped the bauble alignment escapades were recorded as some sort of hapless TaskMaster-style activity, but truth be known it feels like the whole bauble was a faffing task. The final results are beautiful, and I am surprised you got to double figures, but the results are worth it for sure! Thank you Lisa.
Ooh yes, the whole thing was a huge faff. I was tempted to take a photo of the photo set up. I had my overhead recording rig, with a tripod hanging down between it, that had a coat hanger hanging off of it, the balls were then tied to the coat hanger (much faffing to get them all at the same height. Then the ribbons had to be taped to try to get them facing the right way.
Oh my!! What a great lot of work and you've made the process a joy to create!! I'm looking forward to giving these a shot, I promise I'll give my batter "a jolly good stir!!" 😊 Many thanks, Jean
So beautiful!! I think this is the first time I have ever seen you make a sphere soap? I love the Cylindrical ones you make sometimes, always cool to see the different techniques and challenges different soap shapes have! With the lovely ribbon these soaps look just like fancy christmas ornaments. I can imagine them hanging on a bright and shiny tree! ☺️
This is a really beautiful and wonderful soap ~ The colors and patterns are so beautiful ~~ Thank you for always sharing beautiful soap making videos ~~
Oooh, I love caleidoscope soaps! And your round soaps in general... the ones with fancy rims❤ I would love a christmas version of these baubles - I know you've allready made this years christmas soaps, but perhaps next year?
Sometimes I believe you must dream these soaps to come up with such fascinating and beautiful designs! However upon further reflection I think such belief discredits your amazing ingenuity and creativity!
Those are so pretty! I love how they turned out. I can totally imagine them on a Christmas tree. In fact, I'm trying to figure out how I could make something like this with Sculpey for Christmas (or Halloween!) ornaments. Okay, now, tell me more about this pickle strainer thing! Is this something that comes with jars of pickles you get at the store in the UK? Or something you use when you're making pickles yourself? Chad watched the video with me, and when you popped up the picture of that, we were both like, "WHAT?! Is that a thing in the UK? WHY DON'T WE HAVE THIS HERE IN THE US?!?!" 🤯🤯🤯
It comes in the jar - no all brands, have a look next time you're buying them, it's like an upside down umbrella with holes in. It goes in 1st, then the pickles and you get the stick popping out of the top to lift the pickles out of the juice.
I knew these were your soaps as soon as I went to vote …. I now have visions of people spending hours smoothing their skin’s painstakingly over their balls of soap ..while you in true Lisa style think outside the square and make it look easy …. Good job and congratulations 🎉
Very cute. I really do like them but I wish that the "skin" design went all the way through. I loved the way the design was so consistent throughout the original column. As always, thank you for sharing.
I keep trying to get a pull through soap that looks like a petoskey stone. No luck thus far but I'll keep trying. I have wondered if an extruder would be a more effective method, and would be very excited if you ever gave it a shot.
@@IDreamInSoapI am just starting out with soaping so everything you are teaching is all new to me! It's beautiful! I was thinking, I would use great Christmas F.O.s and really hang these on the tree as long as I had LED's. But I hv physical issues due to pain so I feel ambitous to stay in one spot and do a simple swirl. I was even thinking of m&p for those reasons but I cant get past the feeling that's it's cheating the buying public in someway. Yes my hands technically would touch M&P, But it is a stretch for me personally to apply the word 'handcrafted' to the product when usingvM&P bases. That would be like saying McDonalds burgers are handcrafted when each part is made elsewhere. So I am gonna have to focus and learn simple C.P. soap techniques I saw someone sort of 'swirling' h.p. soap. That looks like the easiest.

Same-the strainer thingy looks so much tidier to get gherkins or olives than grabbing a fork and going spear fishing. 😂

Yes, I agree, not a fan of on the surface designs, but I guess if you just did the pull through as bars you would get it all the way through
Would it be possible to add a 'rope' through those?
Thanks!
Thank you so much Lynda, you are so very kind.

Hmm, I'm not sure how an extruder would work for a 'pull through' look, it would be tricky lining everything up.
Alot of work but lovely.
