I love all your soaps, but this is especially beautiful! Simple and elegant design. You have such good energy, I actually feel it coming from the screen! Watching your videos is really enjoyable. Thank you for your hard work! Good wishes from USA.
Shoot Lisa! I watched this one day too late! I cut my trees and squashed them on the table side...😆. I also got to use my drippy scraper yesterday for my "Jan soap" - I love it! 🤩 I really like how this soap turned out for you - the snowflakes on the top really brought it all together.
Another great soap I love how you explain the assessment in your country I think here in America we should have the same assessments because I do the same with myself I don't put all that nasty crap Americans do. I love your videos they are informative they help me make a better soap for myself more than all of my friends and family
Gorgeous, as usual! I'm quite intrigued by the idea of a mold that comes apart. I've never used one like that, but it makes sense for your intricate patterns. Non-soap question: I have noticed that you use a phrase that my mum used to, "As I say." I wondered if that is specific to a particular part of G.B, because I don't hear it often from Americans.
Bonjour Lisa.
Love it! Blue is my fave colour and this falls right into my wheelhouse! It’s odd that peppermint does seem the right scent for a blue Christmas soap. Somehow I knew that was what it should be from just the picture. It’s such an art getting the right smell for a soap I suspect!
Hi Lisa! I love natural colours, and this blue is gorgeous. Just curious about why you blended the soap shreds into the batter, was that a purely aesthetic decision? I thought it would have looked lovely with the larger shreds, and was so surprised when you blended them. It looks beautiful, your soaps always are!
I stopped the video to ask my question, and upon continuing I see you're using a scraper. Is that why you blended the soap shreds, because in larger pieces it would have been a nightmare to scrape?
I think it's just a personal choice, I'm not so keen on larger shred, I like them smaller, but you are quite correct, getting the drips to scrape would have been very difficult with longer shreds
I left a comment a few hours ago and I see that it has been removed. Did you remove it or was it UA-cam? I only wanted to know where you buy your indigo powder from... Anyway, your soap is really lovely - as usual!
Ooh, well that's odd, no I didn't remove it. Mind you, I find that happens to me too, when I leave comments sometimes they just disappear, especially if they're quite long. My Indigo is from the Soap Kitchen, but I think they're out of stock at the moment
@@IDreamInSoap Thanks for replying, Lisa, and I got in on a sale and ordered a mold from CC tools. Just about the only mold I found (thanks to you) that has one still deeper than wide, my personal preference. You're the Best!
You certainly could have problems with indigo causing staining if you used too much, so it's essential to know what you're doing. My indigo soaps don't stain and give a nice white lather with no traces of blue
Hey Teresa, I do put quite a bit in, I think it seems to be OK as mine is always fresh, so it blends in a sticks really well, I think it would be more difficult if you use old soaps or scraps.
Congratulations on first prize in the soap challenge with your teardrop soap - well deserved.
AW, thank you so much, I was very excited to win, and so grateful to everyone who voted for my soap
It's so simple, so elegant, just perfect.
That's so kind of you to say @patygildegarcia9055, thank you so much. I hope you are keeping well, always lovely to see you 😊

Looked like blue german chocolate cake frosting when you were leveling it
OOh yes, I can see that

Great soap bars👏🙂

Very beautiful 😍
😍
Beautiful! Just curious, How is your soap batter so white??
Thank you so much. I make sure I use light coloured oils, especially things like olive oil, I use the light in colour versions

In your other video you had a gnome column mold. Did you make that?
The gnomes are made with extruder discs. I do make and sell those in the I Dream In Soap shop
Lisa, can you say where you got your soap mold?
Hi Marie. this one is from Custom Craft tools
@@IDreamInSoap Thanks for replying, Lisa, and I got in on a sale and ordered a mold from CC tools. Just about the only mold I found (thanks to you) that has one still deeper than wide, my personal preference. You're the Best!
If you have the indigo too strong in the soap can it turn your skin blue or does the soap process set the colour so it doesn't stain?
You certainly could have problems with indigo causing staining if you used too much, so it's essential to know what you're doing. My indigo soaps don't stain and give a nice white lather with no traces of blue
Hello Lisa,
Hi Nicole, I hope you're well.
I hope that your videos will be translated into Arabic. I will be happy with that
🧼
Beautiful soap … I always think your brave with the amount is shred you use . I tend to be far more conservative…. 😂🐝🐝🧼
