    You are a fountain of knowledge! Love your calm and knowledgeable approach to soaping.
    When I watch frazzled UA-cam soapers who seem at a loss and seem exasperated as to why something didn't work, I think, "Lisa could help you!!" LOL!
    Gorgeous perfect soap Lisa, thanks for sharing!! x

    No matter how many times I have tried to use dividers like this, it has never worked. You have made a beautiful soap once again. I use the figure 8 pattern on my bay rum soap on top.

      AW no, that's a shame. Ooh yes a figure 8 on the top gives a lovely pattern

    I guess I have a longer attention span then other people because I like the longer videos. 😁 The 10-15 minute ones are just too short for learning a new technique. That’s why I like watching soaping videos, to get new ideas. That’s a lovely swirl by the way. I haven’t ventured into the techniques that require the horizontal cut yet, they make me nervous. 🤪

      I like longer videos too, I must admit, I like to have something on that takes a while before I have to try to find something else I want to watch :-)

    I don’t hate the longer videos! Thank you for sharing!! I have wondered what the difference was between mantra and Taiwan swirls that made them so distinctive. 🥰 Now I know!! I might have to ask my brother to make me some dividers for my little molds. 😁

    I love how "picky" you are about such things as percentage for usage rates for sodium lactate and things. I use exactly the same rate of sodium lactate as you lol, we must have done something similar in our working out the maths for that one haha! Please don't ever change Lisa, I have learned so much from you :)

    • @IDreamInSoap
      @IDreamInSoap  2 роки тому

      Thanks so much boop, I know as I say it sounds picky, but I find it easier, if you know how much you use then you'll get the same results, if you don't like something, then you know how to change it. Like colours if you know what you put in, if you want it lighter or darker you know where to start or how to reacreate the colour. Thanks for your kind comment :-)

    So helpful -- thank you! That looks like a fun swirl. I always seem to pull out so Much soap when I pull out dividers, but I'm thinking perhaps if I poured at a lighter trace it would still be thinnish and not so clingy when the dividers came out. You always inspire me -- thank you!

    Question-- On your website, I see glycerine as an ingredient in your soaps (at what looks like a higher amount than the water?), but I never see glycerine being added in the videos. Is this a calculation of the naturally occurring glycerine, and not an additive?
