In todays video our caller is hinting around her belief that her sister is being prevented from contacting family by her new girlfriend. We talk to both sides in todays video and I want you to tell me if you think our caller was embellishing her story, or if the sister is being forced to not talk to her family members. Let me know in the comment section what you think! Also would you have done something different on this call, or was it handled to the best of our ability?

Yeah I get all of that but. One thing I will say is once someone is gone from this world they ain’t coming back so make sure that is the decision u want to make.

I agree. But, let's be honest, the woman who answered the door didn't seem disrespectful at all. The sister seems like she just let her feelings get away from her and got offended.
This really put a reality check on me to see police aren't always responding lights and sirens been watching for a few months now and im lovin it!\

I called the police on my mom when I was 19 because I wanted to sell my DS for money and she wouldn't give it to me so a cop had to come to the house to tell my mom that I'm a grown adult and she cant just keep my property from me

The police only drive "hot", as in using lights and sirens when they need to get to a location in a hurry. When it's just a regular call like this where there isn't no chance of someone being in mediant danger then they drive "cold", like all other vehicles on the highway.
If a random person that I didn't know showed up at my house with the attitude that sister had, I would absolutely shut the door on them. I wouldn't want to be stuck in the middle of any family drama. I think the girl and her roommate have done everything right. I'm 100% sure you were only told a biased tiny portion of the actual story. Sometimes you just need to take a step back and put your crazy family in their place. Sometimes it's healthy to go no contact with these situations. I'm just happy that everyone was nice and respectful and that allowed that simple call to go so smoothly.
I've been NO Contact with my family since December. Yes, it was painful & emotional at first. Then, I started to notice that my blood pressure stabilized (after 15 yrs of struggling), my ulcers stopped hurting after 34 days, my migraines stopped after 2 weeks, my stress & anxiety got to levels that were manageable without medications, all of these things I had been dealing with since childhood. Ditch the family and ditched the ailments. I've felt the best I've ever felt and I'm not sorry for choosing myself & my own happiness.
I can see my sisters trying some ish like this just to say they say me....

No doubt the “concerned” sister didn’t share all that transpired which led to the door being shut on her. Family estrangements happen and emotions get very high on both sides, and neither side tends to be able to see or hear things or issues from other perspectives.

When she referred to chief I immediately understood she was probably talking about an E7 which is just a chief petty officer.
The name is used OFTEN to refer to enlisted sailors ranking E7-E9.

I have a pet peeve when people constantly whine about being disrespected. So what? No one cares. She shut the door on you because it's her house and she was done talking to you. You think way too highly of yourself that you should be allowed to do whatever you want and if someone doesn't allow it, they are disrespecting you. Get over it and move along. EDIT: lol, I typed this way before you mention the disrespect, so it's nice to hear we agree!

Handled very well!! There is always someone saying "she disrespected me" when the got their feelings hurt. You gotta be pretty "smart" to basically threaten to do "something" to someone in front of the police. 😆
Glad you verified this girl was alive & well & that ends the well check visit! Some cops don’t follow through even if a person says, “they’re fine!” Then find out later they’re hurt. Being thorough is another great quality in a great Officer.

When the sister showed up at their home and was essentially demanding to see or talk to her sister I can only imagine the distress she caused her sister's roommate. Heck, the roommate was on the phone with her therapist when the officer first arrived!
Anyway, I think that the sister who called the police is likely a troublemaker.
You'll notice that she said initially that the brother was driving up to help find the sister and after the officer came back across the street she said that the sister had spoken to him after she had first came over. So, she got herself caught in a lie right there.
I wonder how many other lies she told?
Since I have found UA-cam, I am much more aware of police daily issues. Ya'll really are asked to be a little bit of everything. Stay safe.
I was just typing “ she disrespected me first” when you commented on it. I can’t understand why so many people think they deserve respect without earning it. People need to learn there is a difference between acting rude and disrespectful. I believe if more of these folks watch how the police get disrespected often they might understand the difference.
In my opinion, it sounds like there’s a lot of family drama and Sheena decided to cut ties to get away from it, possibly to better herself. As for the sister coming there, it sounds like she potentially added a few things to make it sound very different so the police would do something. But it didn’t work. As for the door being slammed in her face, it’s more than likely it didn’t happen. Again, it was said in an attempt to get the police to do something more. The sister was more than likely acting like an a$$ and the girl did in fact slam the door in her face. There’s 3 sides to a story, the sister who called the police, Sheena (the other sister who doesn’t want to talk to the family), and then the truth. I’m NOT calling anyone a liar, but somewhere between each of their side of the story, is the truth. This is just my opinion as a former 911 public safety dispatcher.

I personally couldn't imagine cutting contact with my family but they're pretty easy going and stay in their lane for the most part. Some families just don't get along and trying to force a relationship never works, sometimes you just have to let people go. Hopefully this family will work it out, if not I wish them happiness.

It appears that there may be some relationship complications that the family has or have gotten involved in. I believe it comes down to them overstepping Sheena’s boundaries.
I bet the sister is the kind that pushes back harder, which makes it even worse. Yes, boundaries. We all need them.

Handled that situation probably as best you could. The direct phone call made it much easier to explain to the caller

I doubt that she slammed the door in her face, actually. The lady that lived there was very calm and cooperative.
I have to say it's pretty cool that you break it down for everyone. Here I watched a lot of body cam videos and people ask questions and I know a lil from what my mom and grandparents have told me. It's nice to see an officer willing to break this stuff down and answer questions for us all who are curious.

My husband passed away in May after decades of working in law enforcement.
I worried myself sick that something would happen to him on the job.
Ultimately, it was an infection after a pacemaker was put in that caused his passing at age 62.
It just goes to show you that anything can happen at any time.

What I have to say is..... I just found your channel and it is the first time watching "cop videos" that I have seen, YOU seem like you are not power hungry or shady in any way. Unfortunately, too many cops dont even know the laws that govern them. They like to throw their weight around . Those behaviours are un called for....so.....Thank you for the way you handle things. You show a great example, maybe you should get more cops to watch your videos to see how its done PROPERLY. RESPECT!

Did anyone else get the creeps watching the sister's dudefriend fawn over her while she was talking to the cop? At first I thought, oh, that's sweet, he's swiping a bug off her shoulder or something, but as he continued it felt more like weird PDA. And she just ignored him the whole time. :)

When it comes to family drama it’s always who the hell knows. You never know what the back story is. If the sister was just checking on her to make sure she is Alive and well then I think that’s a positive thing and you never know. At least she got her answer.

It would be horrible if Sheena decides to alienate herself from her family, especially if her mom is on her death bed, because if something happens to her mom and she's not there, she'll never forgive herself! I lost my dad 2 years ago and was by his side when he took his last breath and a day doesn't go by where I don't think about him or wish I could talk to or see him one more time! Even if it's just her siblings that Sheena doesn't want to talk to, I hope for her sake she's there for her mom. I can understand the sister's concern but she can't force a relationship with her sister until her sister is ready! Praying for their mom! Thank you to all our law enforcement officers for risking y'alls lives to protect ours!! 🙏🙏💙💙

I haven't seen anyone in my family for years. They have left notes on my door and have written letters. I've sent them back without opening them.
They continue to support the stepdad who molested all of us and the mother who chose to not believe in the ONLY one who found the courage to speak up.... ME.
I wouldn't hesitate to call the authorities if they ever come here when I'm home. I'm glad this police officer took the time to hear each side. Sometimes we are blessed to be born into a loving family and some of us find and create our family along life's journeys.

I think family emotions are very high re her mother's illness and not chatting to their sister etc. Something else seem to be the problem.
