Jamie simply did everything he could to avoid bloodshed. What he did here was psychological warfare. And it worked. Nobody had to die except Blackfish and he didn't have to die either. Jamie is a soldier and still has orders to obey. That is his duty and this is a war.
Igli my man, this was all a strategy by Jaime. He tried to reason with Edmure but Edmure kept seeing Jaime as Evil. So Jaime used the perception Edmure had of him to scare him and it worked! Tywin would have slaughtered every man in that castle. Jaime did it without any loss of lives.
Yeah, that Grey Worm joke scene is so underrated. But so is Jacob Anderson as an actor. You really gotta watch Interview with the Vampire to appreciate how much of an insanely talented actor he is.
Greyworm's joke is the best🤣 I love how Igli so passionately write his note toward the end🤣 And how Blake reacted to the wildfire mentioned and the slide+jump thing is so funny🤣
Could not agree more about The Blackfish..his reputation for slipping away is so hyped in the books and show to a lesser extent, that his actions make no sense and feels like he was just a convenient plot filler placeholder.. I guess we can call it foreshadowing for the end of the show.. Missendei getting buzzed is my fave moment of that eppy..
No, they want some reason to remove jaime from kings landing when Cersie blows the Sparrows and Tyrells. Going after the riverrun is a genuine reason to move Jaime away from Cersie at this point.
What’s west of Westeros, Arya is one of the greatest characters in tv history and is about to become even more so those words sparked an idea for a spinoff show that people are still waiting for if they are ever to make a show about any of the game of thrones characters that is number 1 for me.
Another take on the Jaime/edmure scene…When they first started talking Jaime was telling him that he would reunite him with his wife and child. Then edmure went on his rant about Jaime being terrible person. So Jaime leans into that and basically is like okay me showing him my humility won’t work, because he thinks I’m a monster so I’m gonna double down on that and threaten him since he thinks I’m so terrible anyways. And he ends up taking the castle with very little blood shed and let Bri go free.
@@Blinkptx exactly!! He wasn’t going to convince edmure in that moment that he was honorable enough to keep his word, but he could definitely convince him he would murder his child lol.
Naw. Igli is still correct that the lord of light is mostly trash, albeit with a proportion of followers being decent people. Just because the sparrows or the white walkers are worse doesn't mean it is a good.
This is my second watch of GOT and the Hound might be my favourite character. I love the dark humour. He is a lot like the characters in one of my favourite book series 'The First Law' by Joe Abercrombie.
Is it safe to say that yhe Blackfish was just done with the 'Game of Thrones'? He took his home back and wasn't going anywhere else to fight. He's just ready to go and wasn't leaving his home to 'go'. R.I.P. The actor that portayed uncle Kevan (Ian Gelder) who we lost a couple of months ago 😢.
i love jon and theon. yeah you gotta watch more game of thrones before house of dragon lol. i got my mom into this show, she's already on season 5 episode 4, she's gonna catch up to ya'll lol, i can't wait to see the one of the battles i'm waiting for and for igli's reaction. nothing will make me like cersei.
I hate the lord of lite but I love the gentleman’s reactions. Y’all crack me up 😂 no one told igli about the white cap 🧢? We could’ve had a three some ❤️💙🦬😉
It's not bad writing just because you wanted more from a character's ending. The show is winding down. They can't have a season long arc for an ancillary character that has no bearing on the ending of the story. Otherwise you end up with a bloated mess that can't be finished like George and his books. Thumbs down.
I agree with Blake about the Blackfish, it was really stupid writing and completely goes against his character. regarding Katelyn, F that woman. She hated Jon for existing but idolized Ned even t though he brought home a kid from another woman. Her double standards are off the charts. Dont get me wrong, really good writing and Michelle Fairleyand have done an amazing job portraying her I just don't like the character.
Corey once again having to mediate the squabbling couple all video! XD
You're forgetting the Blackfish is old, he's probably too tired and he just wants to die at home, man!
Jamie simply did everything he could to avoid bloodshed. What he did here was psychological warfare. And it worked. Nobody had to die except Blackfish and he didn't have to die either.

That's pretty much how I took it. Play the role to get the best results.

the finish to that jackass/honeycomb joke is hilarious
"My cabbages" solid line. I miss the Avatar lmfao

Woowoo
Are the oranges a Godfather homage?
Dragonlanding the new capital
We got that pointless long scene with Tyrion and Missandei instead of seeing The Blackfish die 🤦🏼♂️
ʀᴇᴀʟ ᴏɴᴇ!!!
D&D totally messed up everything to do with the Riverlands and the River Lords.
Jamie is so weak

Please please please be kind to Igli 🥹
So amazing that both Pedro AND Bella started on GoT, they just never got to meet! Bella was only 11 when they starred as Lyanna Mormont. 🥹
