S1E8? "Tyrion needs to kill his dad" - Igli 😐 - Blake 😐 - Corey S4E1 "I can't wait until Tyrion kills him" - Igli 😳🤔 - Blake 😐 - Corey The 4x1 thought had already been built up to and foreshadowed by many of Iglis own comments since s1. I remember the first because I remember thinking at the time "It will be weird when we get to this and he's been on it from day 1". This made Blake's react even funnier for me because I knew the history and lore of Iglis relative random thoughts and comments leading up to this one.
And both their deaths were felt until the very last episode of the series. I have never seen character impact a series so much as those 2. And Rhaegar was the other character that was felt without even making an appearance.@user-sw7ob2zk7p
Varys had originally planned to stay in Kings Landing, but after realizing what Tyrion had done he knew he had to leave because it would eventually be discovered that he helped Tyrion escape.
I'm trying to remember when exactly Igli actually started to like "The Hound" It's amazing how people's feelinss about characters change through the episodes and seasons.
31:16 😂 favorite part of this reaction This episode makes me emotionally drained lol. So many sad moments. Jojen’s death, Jon burning Ygritte’s body, Jaime and Tyrion saying goodbye to each other, The Hound begging for death, Dany locking up the dragons, the betrayal Tyrion felt by Shae, Tyrion killing her, Daddy Tywin’s death (as evil as he is, he was an amazing character and the actor who plays him was incredible)…such an amazing episode and I loved the reaction as always boys! ❤
In the book Jamie admits to Tyrion that the situation with Tysha (Tyrion's first wife) was never a farse and she really did love him and wed him, it wasn't a trick to make a man of Tyrion
The reason the Shae storyline makes no sense is because in the book she was always faking it but in the show they decided to make it much more earnest but still gave her the same exact ending.
I dont know why but this is actually one of my favourite episodes tied heavily with the Astapor episode. I think its because the title alone has so much meaning to it. It focuses on all the children, the Stark children (Jon, Arya but dont remember if Sansa was in this), the Lannister children (Cersei, Jamie and Tyrion now freed from their father's control), Dany's "children" (locking up the two dragons because shes lost control of Drogon) and The Children of the forest.
I didn't realize the show hadn't dropped the dragons' names yet. What the hell took them so long? They've been around since s1 e10 for crying out loud! Apparently the other 2 get dropped in s5 e1. I'm interested to see how Igli feels about those names.
Lmao I love that he’s shocked about supernatural or magic stuff, but literally saw Dany survive a Pyre and… you know… dragons. But a fireball is too magical lol
Here come the haters now. For some reason they think we care about them not liking the show. Yet they continue to watch and leave comments. Bunch of false hatred if you ask me. Just seeking attention.
I'm one of those people who has claimed he's watched it, and I've been watching from the beginning, AND I watch your discussions to the end, so I'm not showing up just to shit post. For the record, I don't claim he's lying. My claim is that he watches it during sleep walking sessions, so he doesn't know himself. Or he could have multiple personalities. 😂
Hey Corey, revisiting this comment you left on episode 4x01: "I'll have to remember to ask Igli when we get to that episode [where his prediction that Tyrion would kill Tywin comes true]." Did Igli ever explain how he guessed that spot on?
Isnt there a conspiracy of Tyrion actually not being Tywin's son, hence the quote at the end , "You're not my son." Tywin loved his wife so much, he kept Tyrion alive out of respect for her.
Amazing eppy.. Glad the title was mentioned, cos it can refer to the Lannister Children, Stark Children as mentioned, but also the intro of "the children of the forest." Don't think I have it in me to write my usual dissertation and go on about GoT conspiracy theories, but I will say I hugely question the paternal parentage of Tyrion and Meera.. Never considered Shae to have possibly been a setup from the beginning, but definitely worth thinking about.. "No Harvesting of Jon's essence." Brilliant and can't stop laughing lol Hound/Brienne, also epic and best 1 on 1 fight.. Army of the dead leveled up in speed..lol Qyburn..can't help but enjoy his character and his curious mind..he hit the jackpot finding Cersei..she lets him do whatever. Finally, every woman should channel a little bit of Cersei and a little bit of Shae..😉
RIP to the best character, the True King of Westeros, Tywin Lannister. I think he had to be killed mainly cause he was sleeping with Shea. But the idea that he tried to have Tyrion killed is exagerated. As far as I know Tywin started the War of the Five Kings cause Tyrion was captured by Cathlyn. And many times he could have him killed he didn't. (he would not even kill him following the trial, he wanted to send him to the Night's Watch) Now I want to go back to something interesting that Igly said and I was blown away by it. About if the Wildlings had won the battle with the Night's Watch, how Mance would not have had the capacity to control them from slaughtering people on their path. And that is a 100% true and it's crazy how this has never crossed my mind! This is why I watched you guys for insight like this. I thought it was pretty interesting. And I even wonder if the writers even thought about it! lol I rewatched the show many times and following the first viewing I always thought "the Wildlings are not really a menace cause all they want to do is escape the White Walkers" but let's face it, you cannot control a mob and these guys have the habits of g(r)aping and pilleaging. Plus you add the frenzy of war when you start killing and you win this huge battle against your number one enemy of tousands of years, it's the bloodlust, right, they would not have stopped. I almost wished this would have been adressed on the show like have Jon Snow(who knows about the Walkers) say "I know they just want to escape the Walkers but if they cross the wall and we lose, then every citizens of Westeros is gonna pay the price". Anyway so Congrat Igly for this!
lol at the happily ever after comment, pls no one tell Igli that Kit Harrington famously cheated on Rose Leslie many times while she supported him through an alcohol addiction for many years. it'll break his heart :(
It was a while ago, but didn't one of his mistresses like post legit pics and vids of them naked together in bed? And wasn't the mistress the main reason he went into rehab, because she revealed he was an alcoholic at the same time as the affair? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought it was p much settled canon haha @@cloudyh6800

It was heartbreak. She was heartbroken and so she was acting out of pain Why is that hard to understand of someone who is like Shaye - Jealous and a survivor
Iggly I love you but sometimes you need to calm your ass down, let the scene play out, and stop with all the "what and huh's." You miss good dialog with all your unnecessary sound effects. No love lost Iggly cause you are my favorite. You guys are all amazing and each bring something unique to the table. One love.

lol! As non-Europeans, I think this'll go over their heads (Having said that, someone commented elsewhere about Corey becoming Bantamweight UFC Champion, which totally went over my head - if you know as little about UFC as myself, google Sean O'Malley, it'll make sense ;))
This episode four me is extremely entertaining, but as a book fan this is the start of the writers being lazy and unfaithful to the books, the tyrion and Jamie’s escape is 100x better in the books. They cut out the original lines to make Jamie more likable, but changing this and the testimony’s earlier in the season complete butcher both characters for me for the rest of the show. They fucked up bad in this episode, putting the final nail in the coffin that this character isn’t Tyrion Lannister, but Peter Dinklage in a fantasy role. What upsets me more is the first three seasons built up to the moment they cut out, and it just ruins 2 of the most intriguing characters in the series.
I haven't read the books but I've watched a lot of reactions, and thus read a lot of comments. It seems Iike not adding a detail from the book that gives more context to something in the show happens multiple times.
@@taneshah.1260 Yeah but this is the worst time they omitted something imo. It was fundamental for Tyrion's character and it was mentioned even back in season 1.

No. I completely disagree with you. The show isn’t worth watching after season 4?? Do you know how absurd that sounds?? Season 6 is my second fav season. “Bad seasons” of GOT were still levels above other tv shows. How can you not see that?
This was when Tyrion stopped being a great character. This was his last episode as a great character. Then they abandon so many storylines of his with a different side to him.
Flashback to Blake's face when Igli said a dozen episodes ago that he couldn't wait for Tyrion to kill his father.

Tywin 1000% deserved to die, but it sucked to not have Charles Dance on the show anymore. Amazing performances by him from his very first scene.
Him and Sean Bean had more to offer to the show, but their deaths certainly made for good TV

He left right before the writing on the show took a nosedive so it was probably for the best.

"Few of the birds that Aemon had sent off had returned as yet. One reached Stannis, though. One found Dragonstone, and a king who still cared. "

watching igli experience this show is creeping up to be one of my very favorite first time reactors of GoT. :) love to see it. season 4 was so good.
This episode aired on Fathers day. It was surreal.
Amazing performance throughout by Charles Dance. Rest in Hell Tywin
The actor Darren Kent, who played the father of the little girl that was burned alive by Drogon, died just last year.
Rest in peace Darren
Aww Blake´s dog wants to be in the reaction 5:11 😍
I've watched this episode countless times and the music/chores at the end also gives me chills.

Omg throwback to Igli predicfing Tywin’s death!
Would love to see you three reacting to the Hunger Games series
Igli’s reaction to the progression of Brienne & The Hound’s fight might be my favorite thing ever.

Yes! One of the very best examples of the multiple meanings of the title. So many facets to this one.
