Everyone except Kevin. She should know that he’s not to be trusted.
And she did.

She should have counter rober with 2.5% for 125K and ask him if he would take kevin in for the other half on that deal that would have gave her an opportunity to listen to kevins offer without losing robert
lol why, did you not understand the situation or just regurgitate what you saw in previous episodes. Kevin wanted 10% at 250k, why would he take 25% of that and still have to pay 50% and still have to put in the same effort, he's getting less for more. She is there for the expertise, not the dollar value. Kevin wasn't willing to sell his expertise for less than 10% equity, the dollar value meant nothing other than sign of good faith. Neither party cared about the $$$ value if you didn't get it, the Shark wanted equity, the girl didn't want to give up 10%. She should have offered Kevin 5% for 125k if anything to salvage her deal or to make Richard pay for his aggressiveness.
@@PWCDNare you clueless? If she offered to share with Kevin she would have been able to hear his offer without Robert being insulted.

She wasn’t there for an offer. Her valuation was already 8 times more. She got want she needed and that’s a good promotion.
With her record of sales she didn't really need a Shark to bite into her equity. She's going places, unquestionably.
There should be like a final jeopardy type offers where all sharks offer or dont offer at the same time with a buzzer. So many people get screwed because of the sharks' egos, or they're the last offer standing.
“Let me look like I’m drinking so I fit in”
It's that tribalism mentality.
If Kevin offered appropriately, I do believe he would’ve been the ideal partner for this
well it was her fault for not countering. She rejected it without a counter offer. She could have offered 6% for less money if Kevin is offering expertise. IMO she could have done it for $0 for 3% equity if Kevin just brought expertise. She just got greedy and tried to get more than what she asked for.

In the real world you don't always have the option to "hear all offers". Take the risk and lose your other deals. Was a dumb move on her part cuz kevin NEVER woulda went to the 7% or below she wanted.

Although, I probably would have done the same tbh.
All the best to her though, she seems like she is on the right path to a successful future.
Actually, the sharks are greedy themselves and like greed. If the other partner is greedy, they'll try to make as much money as possible for the company.
Greed is a plus as long as you can keep a straight head in terms of re investing capital into the business for further growth and stability.
