Very cool for Kevin not to be salty about the wine competition jokes and happy for the deal
Mr wonderful has a great sense of humor. You should check out his social media accounts
The wine buiessness is so large even if a few new startups take off it wont make a difference in the grand sceme of things.
@@satl3161 My fave shark easily, he is genuinely hilarious
Kevin was a real sport about the whole thing. He always impresses me tbh

Growing up I thought Kevin was the mean shark. Now I realize he's one of the most mature, but also one of the best at branding a character
@@PepsiFuture meanwhile Mark looks like the nicest, but turns out he's quite arrogant (see him get so condescending when other sharks disagree with him) and he's fighting law proposals to tax the rich, because reasons.
@@carlosfer2201 maybe because the rich pay 96% of all federal income tax perhaps? Deincentivizing success is not substainable. I think I ought to point out that Kevin isn't exactly in the socialist left wing camp ur in either.
For the amount of money he was making, and the amount he was asking for, I think 40% was a fair deal.
It was an insane deal! would have bitten the hands off that for 4 sharks!
@@jeeveso right lol they gave him a valuation 3x higher than 6 years of sales
Relax, it's TV. Not real. There was no deal.
@@HomestarCrawler really?? Source?
@@shiskeyoffles It looks like it didn't pass the due diligence phase. Just type in the company's name into search and look at the Mashed article. They mention it at the bottom of the article.
I love this product, and I think the sharks looked past his obvious lack of sales to see the true potential with this.
Props to this man for seeing a want for a simple, stand out product that EVERYONE can enjoy!
@Travel Crawl the school he picked ruined him. too much econ and not enough skill to manage or market
Wish he could have kept more of hi equity
I think all the sharks knew he was gonna blow up now cause its on tv so they wanted a piece of it
@@ninjareflex drinking was involved with the decision making process
The deal didn't go through apparently, but he's still in business doing good.
Barbara: I’m out.
Other sharks: You aren’t even on the show today.
Barbara: And for that reason, I’m out.
😐
🤣
Lol she never invests, always a negative Nancy
😂😂😂
this will never not be funny
I am from Ethiopia and I am really pleased to see an Ethiopian presenting our traditional drink in a modernized way to the sharks. May God be with you through all your journey.
Kevin is so cool for not getting upset or salty even tho wine is his forte
To be fair, mead is quite different from grape wine.
lmao the deal didn’t even go through with the sharks and the guy so he’s the happy one
@@brandonesparza4346 Sheeesh really?
He didn't want to be a part of it. He thought it was a bad investment.
Born in Ethiopia, great to hear that, you motivated us. One day I may have the chance to present my business on the Shark Tank. Good Luck!

My fellow countryman from Ethiopia, proud of you. You made me so happy when you mentioned Ethiopia more than once. I like your confidence, to-the-point explanation and smart decision. Wish you a tremendous success. 👍
This is the only respectable Ethiopian in the world.

European countries shed their own blood so Ethiopia could be liberated, and your own countrymen, instead of defending such a precious jewel, let it become so corrupt and damn near uninhabitable.
@@CraftyMiscreant Ethiopia & Ethiopians have never been liberated from anyone by anyone. In fact, Ethiopia helped other Africans get their independence from European colonizers. You're right in that the Europeans shed their own blood in attempting to colonize Ethiopia. They miserably failed at least twice.
So, what is your point? There is a corrupt government. So what? The governments of the superpowers are extremely corrupt too. I wish your comment was related to this specific video. You're kinda dragging it to unrelated idea. I'd appreciate if you could play civility. Peace!!!
At a certain point, with all these sharks having dozens if not hundreds of companies, I'm starting to wonder how much time they have to really help their new entrepreneurs out.
The sharks have teams of people that manage it for them. Also a lot of the companies from earlier seasons either go under or sell to larger companies.
@@ericmueser6950 That's true. I'd like to see a list (estimated) of how many active companies each of them is currently invested in.
@@EGarrett01 Most of the sharks besides maybe Daymond and Barbara has invested in around 40 companies with Marka n Laurie and Kevin actually investing in most companies.
They normally invest around 200k on average per deal

1:26 TO THE CHEVALIER DU TASTEVIN!!
Robert says “I just wanna help you”so humble
He got lucky to get 4 sharks at 40 percent, his business was falling apart,,6 years and still made no money and he had the nerve to want to counter with 4 sharks willing to help, come on now ,,we all know that rarely happens,, even kevin told him he can't miss out on a great deal like that there's nothing to think about.
The deal never closed though, so he ended up not working with any one of them. But hey, business is good, they still running.

what a cheerfull episode; so uplifting and positive 😁

7:13 Kevin totally dropped character there and just told the guy to take the deal, haha.
he didnt drop it its because he was out already. He wants everyone to prosper
The deal was never signed unfortunately, but Bee D'Vine is still in business
Really? Know why?
The “YESSSSIIRRRR” after he accepted the deal😂😂😂😂
I’m so happy for that man I hope her does good

Yeah 🇰🇪
I jump when I hear Ethiopia, I love how our regular drinks become a business like this.
I like how he introduced our cultural dance. ETHIOPIA 🇪🇹
Love it " dancing on your pallet " sounds delicious 😋
No way this will do good without dropping his price. Tons of wine at local stores for under $20.
with 4 sharks by his side, it'll do good for sure.
Agree
I swear when i clicked this thumbnail i thought; ‘another wine product, it better has honey in it’ and here we are. Im buying it
Love Ethiopian Dance. Good luck brother🇪🇹
Kevin wasn't worried lmao
This is why sample is very necessary for product sales.
The sales in 6 years didn't impress them.
But they tasted the while and saw it was is good and has a market yet to exploit.
Thank you for not SPOILING it in the title... keep it up!!
This product seems like it would work really well in cooking and baking recipes.
Kevin keeps mentioning that 97% of all wines sell under $15 but almost every wine he sells on his website is over $20.

Shakes shoulders.
Lori: "Is that it?"🤔❓😃
I wish u would include a link where we can buy these products!!
Dude doesn’t want to lower his price, even though everything is telling him his price is way too high Lmfao
Bees endangerment is about the bees, that are not regular honey-making bees. It's about many different species, that are specialised in different flowers pollination. People abuse this fact for marketing purposes.
Any update about the product today?
Honey wine is only done in Ethiopia, we need to introduce this to the rest of the world. Honey is a natural antibiotic
Are you serious? Mead has been drunk in Europe for centuries.
It’s everywhere. It’s literally the oldest form of recorded alcoholic beverage in human history in Europe and Asia.
I love this show man😂 they’re so lit
dafuc's up with the backround music tho 😂
Wow, I can’t believe Ayele gave 40% of the company to them.
Consuming honey, bee’s source of food and energy, does not save the bees 😂
Mark "no negotiating" spreading the fear into the poor fella haha
Love watchin Shark Tank it's interestin funny n crazy

I wish this guy would have listened to the Sharks. I'm not a big drinker anymore but I would have liked to be able to try this... just not at their prices (which has gone up since this episode lol).
I wish the Sharks could have a secondary series or something that addresses the deals that failed and what made them fail. It would be highly educational.
