You can’t help but admire Donald. The amount of creativity and just pure love for the craft is so beautiful to me. So excited to see what he puts out next❣️
You can tell he’s proud of his characters and would enjoy the chance to continue their stories.
The way he described season 3 of Atlanta was super interesting
Donald Glover was the underrated artist who got what he deserved. i’ve been following him since the community days and man to see this man grow into the amazing artist he is today is just so beautiful to see.
He seems soo at peace now. Good to see him in good specifics.
Community is one of the best shows ever aired on TV (especially the first three seasons)
Atlanta is packed with talent! Love everything Donald Glover does and everything detailed here, but the performances in Atlanta were mind-bending across the board
i love how they didnt shoot this inside of a studio like the other ones
It's wild to me how at the time it seemed Community wasn't the standout show, when it's truly one of the BEST well written comedic shows I've seen.
Childish Gambino is one of my favorite music artists. Songs like Sober and 3005 I still haven't gotten tired of.
Bro 3005 is such a timeless classic. BEST SONG BY GAMBINO imo , besides redbone ofc
because the internet is one of the best rap albums of all time in general imo
Freaks and Geeks, Heartbeat for me

Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian was absolutely my favourite thing about Solo.
Donald is just so naturally funny, even his split second impression of Ludwig Göransson made me snort. Talented, down to earth and funny. He is one of my inspirations.
The amount of respect I have for this guy as a creative and artist is beyond the pale.
-so glad that he says he’s going the community movie and that he would return as lando of the project is right. Let him create his own project.
3:02 he was definitely going to say "Me and Abed"
Really appreciate artists like this who expose societies' absurdity in a digestible and thought provoking way.
Atlanta was sooo good. I’m so disappointed it only had that many seasons I think it could use a bit more. Donald Glover is such a genius and I feel still slept on gem in story boarding and productions.
I love him so much. His vision of life, things to come. What a genius.
For what i received i passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures 1 Corinthians 15 3
Man, if there’s a full transcript of this or stuff that was cut for time I’d love to see it. Watching this man talk is a gem.
The internet steals moments.... SO profound. In fact a lot of what he said was profound and it just rolled off his tongue like a true creative mind.
Talented , genius, inspiring, hardworking and genuine to the craft what a guy .
Quite frankly not sure why I started to cry at 14 mins in and kept crying throughout the rest of this interview. Spectacular storytelling by Donald Glover.
Not sure if people quite get the sentiments at the last bit. It goes a bit deeper into him having a strong sense of self and wanting to be his truest self. I'm endlessly inspired by this dude
I love how much truth he speaks about not wasting your time, do things you enjoy and be conscious of that clock, that never stops ticking.
This was a great interview. I’m glad Bino got to talk without interruptions. Hope he’s still making music
Even though he didn't have a crazy amount of screen time in "The Martian", that was one of my favorite movies and the way he portrayed his role was awesome.
I read he based that character on Abed.
Troy will be one ofmy favorite tv characters. He played him so perfectly! and community is such an underrated show. The humor is on a different level
3:02 Him almost referring to Danny as Abed here is amazing
omg yes!!! it almost brought a tear to my eye
The man, the myth. Love Community to the ends of the earth, and i could probably watch all 4 seasons of Atlanta on repeat on loop. Roll on that Community movie, and i hope we can have another glimpse at the world of Atlanta again one day
Donald is one of my favorite artists. First found him through his music, then Community, and have loved everything he has done since. If he is a part of a project, I'm all in because I know it will be quality and original....and hilarious.
I never was a huge fan of Donald Glover, but this interview HARD 180'd that. Amazing interview, thank you!
3:02 "Like Me and Ab...Danny went out for dinner" 🤣🤣🤣
One of my favorite actors. He killed it on Community, played a kick-butt Lando (something very difficult to pull off btw), and every time I turn around, he's in another fantastic movie, or at least he's fantastic in it.
Donald glover is my favorite person right now. Actor, writer, musician, etc. If there was one person I’d want to be it would be him. This is amazing, thank you Glover, and thank you GQ.
I like just how he explained why people enjoyed season 4 a lot more than season 3. Good at knowing his audience’s engagement!
