nars is a brand that i’ve always wanted to try. i’m probably one of the only people that have never tried orgasm, laguna and all of the other beautiful blushes, bronzers and highlighters they make. i’d love to get one of the face duos. the climax palette that released around the holidays was soooo my dream palette, because i adore cool tones and the shades in that palette truly spoke to my soul. this palette looks reallllly beautiful. the look you created is absolutely gorgeous. i loveeee the warmth and the shimmery lids. i hope you had an awesome girls night out. ♥️♥️♥️
I do not know why this basic neutral palette is calling out to me, but it definitely is. Congratulations on having a girls night! Maintaining adult friendships is so hard!
Thank you for this review; I just received the eyeshadow palette & am wondering what others think. I haven’t used it yet, but the swatches are beautiful! I will say that I was done with the Orgasm & Laguna shades a long time ago. I must be the only woman on earth who does not feel these shades are universally flattering. Yes, bored…Most companies will continue to produce customer favorites & also launch new products. NARS pretends Orgasm & Laguna deserve spots in new launches every year or multiple times a year. Come on NARS, give us something fresh! Those who want them will find the old shades. I also love this packaging, pretty shades of metallic pink & peach are lovely!
I accidentally bought the Laguna palette !! Sephora had it priced wrong (cheaper) and when I was at the register the true price rang up but I bought it anyways because in my head it’s still a fantastic price for both a bronzer and blush! Anyways I didn’t even pay attention to the packaging until I got home and OMG YES the universe was treating me today 😂!!! It’s gorgeous and I am spoilt!!!! 🎉❤🙏
Everytime I see your review on NARS I want them lol. I love their blushes and a duo is great for travel. I use the orgasm/laguna combo during the winter and orgasm x/casino combo during the summer. The eye shadow palette is so beautiful!!! Also great for travel with only one palette! I appreciate NARS because it was such a coveted brand for me for a long time till I could afford it lol
Hope you had fun Amanda , no worries with COVID happening, many haven't been out for awhile. I've been transitioning back to normal, but with a different mind set which is a good thing for sure 👍.
Love your final look! I’m not interested in the blush/bronzer duo because the orgasm blush is so shimmery. I like more of a matte finish. However, I love the Nara eyeshadows and the palette is definitely on my radar! It looks beautiful.
Ok, initially I didn't want this palette as I thought it was too pink looking, but looking at your swatches I think i've changed my mind....We'll see when it lands in Australia. Probably not for another 6 months....I'll stay away from the face palettes, as I already have Orgasm and Laguna in 2 different face palettes.

I've been eyeing this palette since it was released. I was really impressed with Nars Climax eyeshadow palette that was so popular that they re-released it. I take that one with me when I travel for the fall/winter. As for the bronzer/blush duos, I'm one of those people who has WAY to many of them plus I have two of their 6-pan face palettes. So not tempted by the duos.
I wish Nars can choose the cheek variety can be choosed. Honestly I know so many people have the color ! And so do I ! I’m curious of eyeshadows pallette . Thank you for showing .
Believe it or not I never tried laguna or Nars orgasm. I think I’ll pick up the light shade being it’s less red. I don’t care for pink either but it doesn’t look too bright pink and the undertone of laguna suits me better. Sold! I was hoping for last years cream summer bronzer.
How does the palette compare with other Nars palettes and other warm palettes in general? I’m interested in this new one but wonder if it has repeat/dupe shades.
One more thing about this great palette. Definitely a beautiful color story however, the large mirror is mentioned as a plus. When I opened the palette for the first time I wondered how much money I wasted on this part of the design when I purchased my palette. I need corrective lenses to see close up & can’t wear contacts. I know there are a great many people in my situation. The company that figures out a solution to this will make a considerable amount of money & maybe even apply for a patent. Meanwhile, no one ever thinks about this silent majority!
So funny that people think nobody would use up a blush. I've fully used up at least two Orgasm blushes. It took a long time, but it was the only shade of blush I used for a few years.
I mean, if people didn't use up blush and bronzers there wouldn't be a market for nars orgasm and laguna. Us makeup lovers that have many products are a minority and we need to keep that in mind. Also, makeup expires. If you bought orgasm/laguna over 5 years ago, check if it's still of because you might need to replace it if not

I swatched the Laguna/Orgasm duo and in my opinion the shades in the duo are different than in the individual blush and bronzer.
