At first sight the palette gave me Patrick Ta’s vibes 🤔
Same I saw someone do a comparison and I believe the Patrick ta was more peachy/rosy and this was more orangey. But they were close.
@@christyfielding7498 I saw a look from this palette on a YT Channel and it appeared quite orange instead of neutral.
I thought that, too. It also reminds me of the Sigma Cor de Rosa and one of the new Kylie palettes. Maybe even a little bit Urban Decay Naked Heat, although there are some lighter peachy tones here.
I like Ta’s in theory, but I don’t have a need for that much shimmer in my everyday. So CP is a great mettle ground
@@maheephoenix4398 well I mean the Patrick Ta isn't completely neutral I have it and it's got some very warm peachiness that is super close to the clay it cool. Like I said its not a dupe but very similar. Seeing them swatched out side by side shows how close.
So excited for the SS bronzers. Idk why they waited so long. That said, I feel like CP says screw Cool Tones. Everything is always warm or neutral leaning warm. I'd really like to see them expand their shade ranges and color stories, especially in the SS formula for the face too. Appreciate as always Amanda!!!
They looked like they were bailing on supershocks for awhile. Truth be told. I stopped buying from them because of that and the insane releases. It’s like they don’t give you a minute to think about a purchase then the next one is out and so on. I switched off. It was like white noise. I might get a bronzer or two myself. I love cool tone bronzers.
I feel like every time they do do cool tones it's the same. Like if it's neutral the dark browns always have a kaki under tone, i really hate the that's toupee because it's got green undertones, or it just all the same mauve. I love mauve but it's always the same pallet in different packaging
@@44LillPuffin Totally agree. I actually love Stone Cold Fox and That's Taupe, but there's no color in them. I wish they'd do something like SCF but with some SSS and color. I asked CP if they'd make some and they said we just made Of Quartz. I'm like uh, all of those palettes including of Quartz are knock offs of SCF, nothing new. It's like a 5/95% release of boring cools to warms or neutrals

That’s so cool that you had a dream in Spanish!! I took many years of French in HS and College. My Mother said she’d sometimes hear me talking in my sleep in French! 😂😂
I remember in high school dreaming about conjugating verbs in French - and getting them wrong. Usually happened after studying for a test. My son just returned this month after a year as English language teaching assistant in Spain (due to pandemic he was a few credits shy of a Spanish minor). I’m now going to ask him if he ever dreamed in Spanish after living and working in the country.
Hi, Amanda!!! I live in Spain and English is not my native language but sometimes I clearly remember listening to and/or speaking in English while dreaming. I know this is another warm neutral palette but there's something about the palette with the bronzers and blotted lips that just make me want it. I don't have that many ColourPop palettes so I don't have any quite like this plus I want to try the cream shadow. Lol
AMANDA I have never even considered the dreaming in another language thing. That's such a unique thought and thank you for sharing!
How cool is it, getting to dream in another language?!!! It's only happened to me once, I was 17, I'd been learning French since I was 11 and I'd just come back from spending 3 weeks in the south of France, visiting my dad's cousin and his wife and my first night home I dreamt in French - I was so excited!
Thank you for pointing out the mismatch in the naming vs the color story itself. As a cool-tone girl, I clicked on the video thinking “given the name, maybe the colors are off on my screen and it’s really more neutral or cool.” I’m so glad you confirmed the warm tones - thanks again!
I love the shift on the body highlighter! I’d put it on the eyes too. 👍 And love the lippy on the cheeks.
i thought it looked like the Patrick Ta palette but that cream shadow inclusion basically confirms it as trying to dupe it, which I wouldn't really mind if CP didn't already have so many palettes that are this color story
also looking at the swatches from the older palettes makes me miss when CP had their more metallic shimmer shadow formula because they hold up sooo well

I always get hype when you post a video! Thank you for your advice with the super shock products and picking up the product!! I always thought I was crazy when applying blush and not picking up pigment.

I did pick up the palette & a bronzer; it's taken CP a while to make deeper shades, so whenever they do I SNAG IT 😍. There was a 20% off sale too, so restocked a few things 👍🏾🤗
I also use Duolingo! I don't have as much experience with Spanish as you Amanda, but I try to practice as often as I can. Id love a Spanish makeup video! I wish I was more into the SS products but they just aren't my vibe. but the palette SCREEAMS that new Patrick TA Major Dimension Dos Palette. Honestly I miss when Colourpop was more COLORFUL....I get that neutrals sell but COLOR is fun!

Surprised it took CP this long to come out with SS bronzers
Yeah like she said though they had ss bronzers years ago and this is just a rerelease of new shades. But still it amazed me they took so long to put out any bronzers really. Forever all they had were those single pan ones you could byop with and with as quickly as CP releases stuff you'd think they'd have had multiple formulas out by now.

I commend you for learning a different language. I am bilingual and I do dream in Spanish depending on who is in my dream. For example a family member who I usually communicate with in Spanish.

so excited to try these bronzers! I feel like I fell out of love with super shock cheek products for a while and now I'm falling back in love with them. they really are amazing!
I would definetly like to pick up a bronzer and the bloated lips. I wasn't much a fan of the old packaging & formula of the blotted lips but I love this new Bulley form.
Also love the idea of using the blotted lip for the cheeks. It looks great on you! Of course, you always do your cheek makeup in such a great and flattering way. I try but end up with clown cheeks. 🤣

Totally agree that the name is misleading. I got excited there for a minute. I hope they come up with a cool purple version. Although I have to say, judging by the comparisons, the shimmers look kinda week next to the other palettes. Maybe it was just how the light hit, I don't know, but CP was been missing the mark with the latest palettes. I got pretty much all their palettes and, with very few exceptions, the older the better.

It depends for dreaming. Sometimes, I’ll dream in Italian or German, but it mostly ends up being majority English, and then some parts in Other languages. (I have a minor in Italian and have been learning German and Spanish, so sometimes they will pop into my dreams!)

This is a nice rosey neutral palette, I do like the shimmers in this and glad to see no glitter in any of these shades. I wish they released glowing lips or lux lipsticks with this collection instead of the blotted lip, not my favorite formula from Colourpop. Nice idea to use them on the cheeks. The bronzers look nice, I like the range of colors.

Thanks so much. I liked the last bronzers in compacts. They were very buttery but SS I am very interested. So I ordered Isle Bet and a third repurchase of Beeper lipliner which is a cool tone pinky nude for people who say CP never makes cool tones. That’s an oldie color. Anyway love your work, used your code and can’t wait for my items to arrive. Full disclosure: I have SO many bronzers but oh well!!
I've been wondering when Colorpop would introduce super shock bronzers. It seemed strange to me that they didn't exist already. In fact it seemed strange that Colourpop had hardly any bronzers. When they put out these pressed powder bronzers, I figured they wouldn't put out any super shock bronzers. I put one of the pressed powder bronzers on my wish list, but I am glad I didn't buy it because now I want to buy the super shock bronzers.
the super shock bronzers aren't new, IIRC they were around when ColourPop was more of a new brand, maybe a year or two into existence? I also remember them being hard to blend lol
@@sieb3999 well that must be why they discontinued them. Hopefully the new ones are easier to blend. I tend to use a finger with the super shock blushes, I dab them on with my finger.

Yay bilingual dreams! I speak Swedish (primary language) and English (fully fluent), I do have dreams in both languages and I have been told I also speak in both in my sleep. I also use duolingo to learn Spanish and 日本語 (Japanese) and sometimes Dutch.

I wasn’t super excited when I first saw this palette, but it does look so pretty against your hazel eyes! Mine are a really similar color (actually our whole coloring is pretty similar in general) and I only have one of the palettes you showed as a comparison… so it’s a maybe for me. I’m kinda very low-buy right now, so I don’t think I’ll rush out to pick anything up, but this seems like the kind of thing that’ll be around for a while anyway! When I saw this on trendmood IG, the palette looks so cool tones in pictures. I was pretty excited about it. However, after seeing it being tested, the color palette is too red and bronze. I wish the tones could be a little softer than warmer. I think I am passing it.

I speak Spanish and English. I speak Spanish at home and both at work. I couldn't say which I dream in because they are both the same in my head.
It could’ve been named Clay It, or Clay It All (but ‘Cool’ is definitely misleading)! As someone who doesn’t like cool tones, but LOVES warm tones, I was about to not buy this palette when I saw the name! But once I saw the shades, I’m like, “This isn’t a cool toned palette!” 😍 I absolutely love this palette and the collection, and I can’t wait for it to be here!!!!

Having dreams in other language means you have made them a part of you, that’s great. And there is even a higher level: thinking in another language, awake, I think that at that point you can consider yourself bilingual. I have six of the comparison palettes, but I need to observe them closer, because I feel like not all of them are giving me an exact dupe! If they’re not, I’ll just purchase this collection during their 30% sale, because I originally wanted to purchase it!! 🥰
Hi Amanda, I speak 3 languages fluently, and I remember when I start dreaming in English (not my mother tongue language). Nowadays I can’t remember in whIch language I dream from my mother tongue or English, but I don’t ever remember dreaming in Spanish my 3rd language. Anyway, I heard somewhere that when you dream in another language that’s when your brain is really incorporating that language, so you can consider yourself fluent 😘☺️

They had these bronzers several years ago after they released the matte super shock shadows. They stopped selling them for several years. They came back and now all on sale so I imagine they’re on the out again. I loved the original ones there were several more shades, but when you use them each day they dried out. Even with your makeup tip of the Mac beauty oil I don’t know if it is going to keep them going. Too bad really like the formula. Going to go buy a few. Happy New Year

I’m waiting for a more rosy/mauve palette like this. Too orange for me, but my best friend is the total opposite; this is her favorite color story! I want to try the bronzer and maybe one blotted lip. And I like the Sol Body powder, the shade is gorgeous! I own none of those yet.
I just realized I never speak/have speaking in any of my dreams. It’s all just visual. But once I talked in my sleep; I was awake for 18 hours straight and basically passed out as soon as I hit the bed. I’m bilingual, I was in Bosnia at the time. And the next day when I “woke up” (literally), my mom said I was cussing her and my brother out in Bosnian for bothering me while I was sleeping. I have no memory of this AT ALL, but they said I was wide awake lol
English is my.primary language so my dreams are mostly in English, but I also speak Spanish and I do dream in Spanish occasionally. Thank you for the tip on picking up the super shock formula with a brush. Is there an eyeshadow brush that will pick up the super shock eyeshadows as well?

Idk what it is about coppery shades but I ALWAYS want them, and I know I have them. It took all my might to resist the Lucky Penny collection and honestly I kinda regret not getting it cos the lipsticks are gone now.
Ok now I've seen it next to Lucky Penny, I prefer this one. So yeh, im getting it, the whole collection is $36 right now, so.. yup!
I have the Sandstone and Whatever palettes so I probably won't buy this one, but it's pretty. Colour Pop will always be a brand that I buy from because they are innovative and have amazing quality formulas. I have more CP palettes than any other brand in my palette collection. Also, I used to speak fairly fluent Spanish and yes, I used to dream in Spanish. It's normal. I have lost a lot of my ability and now I feel like I need to re-learn it. lol

I don't get around to using the couple of bronzers I already have, but I do enjoy the super shock cheek formula. Not going to rush to pick one up, but the light one might end up in my cart next time they have a sale. I'm not a warm neutral eyeshadow person, so the palette is a definite pass.
I found a Colourpop bronzer that I absolutely LOVED in the past. (Not SuperShock.). It was discontinued. :(. And I was soooo disappointed. I vowed not to go for a potentially limited edition bronzer anymore.
I love these shades so I may pick this palette up. However I am very curious about the SSBronzers. So I may place an order
I'm most interested in the SS bronzers. I've enjoyed the SS blushes I own & want to try more cream complexion products but don't want to spend big $$$ trying different textures & formulas when I don't even know if I'd prefer using creams. (I'm waiting on an order from ELF, trying their putty bronzer & blush too)The 3 lightest shades all look like possible good shades for me, definitely the lightest 2 would work depending on time of year. There are a couple other things I've wanted from CP too, so now would be a good time to place an order :) Edit: I use an old ELF stippling brush & it works great, it's small & easy to dab into the packaging. Real Techniques makes a duo fibre stippling brush set & the smaller of the 2 brushes fits the SS pot perfectly :) If you have either of these brushes or anything comparable, it should work with the SS formula.
If I have been speaking Spanish with family and friends, my dreams will be in Spanish. I think that it's also influenced by who is in my dream: Spanish or English speakers? I'm a native Spanish speaker😊 I think you hit a major point, it took a long time for me to start dreaming in English.

U got to this review quick! Finally, they put a bronzer not in that hard-to-open, flat, wide packaging.
Clay, terracotta shades are too red as neutrals on me, so it's a pass. I need smth a little more peachy for my yellow undertone, so I'll wait for my dream palette combining Coast to Coral, Baby Got Peach, and Going Coconuts. The Inner Peach single package is close tho. 🙂

I always go for cool toned and I am disappointed that the name made me think it was going to be cool toned. That being said I love the color theme. So I might still get it. With my blue eyes these colors look good with my eyes.
I have hooded eyes and mature eyelids.
I have never used a super shock eyeshadow do you recommend them for mature eyes and I am fair skinned, brown hair, blue eyes. What colors would you suggest? Thanks Amanda.❗❤️
Do we know if this will eventually be released at Ulta? I never have enough product to get free shipping from CP, which hinders me from buying just one or two items. But at Ulta, I can either get in store or buy other items I “need” to get the free shipping.

The clay name made me think of the red clay dirt/mud so maybe that’s where the name came from. This looks like a collection I can pass on except for the SS bronzers maybe.

Colourpop never made sense with their naming of products. I always chalked it up being my age. Yeah I can wear about 4 or 5 of the 6 bronzer shades. I think. I see what you mean by stingy now.
I'm teaching myself German, and often hear people in German in real life, when they're speaking English.
I haven't bought anything from Colourpop in a long time. This is so unoriginal and boring 😢
