I was born in 1960. A really great year because I heard music from the 1920s and have enjoyed good music my entire life. Imagine being in my shoes as I lived through each decade. I’m thankful for still having my brain cells to remember what I’ve experienced. I’ve been to concerts where there was nothing but pure love. No devices like cellphones or cameras. Sure we don’t have physical evidence of our experiences but we do have those memories in our hearts and our souls
Every concert i visit i trink, why you all waste time witt your Handy- watch the stage with heart and ears and eyes . You will never forget this event.
One of the GREAT songs of our era. Love listening to "The Walk of Life" and there isn't many days that I don't listen to one version or another. I love the steel guitar and the band is killing it. Just good music and great musicians. I thank GOD that I was born in the 50's, so many great artists, music and vocals you could understand. I have only one regret, I wasn't rich so that I could do nothing but your and see and be around all the wonderful artists. The "new generation" doesn't know what good music is. Thanks Mark and all the wonderful musicians that have entertained us over the years.
@@talktalk2412 It can still be like that these days. I made a decision years ago to keep my phone in my pocket at shows beause honestly...howe often do you go back and rewatch those videos? Instead of trying to capture it on my phone, I just focus on enjoying myself in the moment.

My Mum's funeral today. John Denver Annies song going in and Dire Straits walk off life going out..Mum loved this song so much she was the life and soul of any party.
THIS version of the band COOKS! Paul Franklin's pedal steel raises this tune to a very high level. The crowd is into it all the way. No cell phones, kids....Thanks!
I bought this album back in 1983 Northern Territory, Australia and was living in Ngukurr Aboriginal settlement, a while nother environment, think Crocodile Dundee outback. This cassette was all I had so I listened to all these songs, but this one had a haunting kinda tune that stayed with me. Paul Franklin is a generous of putting the finest tunes to the songs on the live album, and in my opinion I think the whole band had a great time on the tour that was Dire Straits last tour ever.
Dire Straits!, un 10 en estudio pero un 11 en directo🤤🤤🤤🤤. Incombustibles y maravillosos. Larga vida para ellos y su genio compositor Mark Knopfler🎸🎹🥁🎷🎶

Thanks to my lucky stars I grew up with this music and regularly heard it in my car radio cruising down the street and we woud be rock'in in the car.
