The Alien must have been a revolution in science fiction !! It was definitely India's one of the biggest glory in making . That loss is unmatchable .
A pity it got never made, you know ET the extraterrestrial right by Steven Spielberg right? Well there was a controversy that Spielberg had plagiarized it from the alien, many people like Arthur C. Clarke had asked Ray to sue Spielberg but Ray simply didn't sue Spielberg out of respect for him and he himself said that Spielberg made good films, I mean, what a man!

When I first came to know about Satyajit Ray incident.... I was at awe..... It's hard to believe.. And also makes us proud to have witnessed the creative brilliance of this unique man. We think only Bollywood steals. Steven Spielberg is still not in question.

I am from Kolkata, I was grew up watching Satyajit Ray’s films. Feldua series, Goopy - Bagha series are those films every bong child will never forget and if you talk about some serious films then the World of Apu, Devi and my all-time favourite Nayak is definitely everyone should watch out. Nayak is one of his masterpiece where we can see his direction and the evergreen Uttam Kumar’s acting. A brilliant combination I must admit. Satyajit Ray is my favourite director of all time.

If you read about him.. he is just not a filmmaker but also a scriptwriter, documentary filmmaker, author, essayist, lyricist, magazine editor, illustrator, calligrapher etc etc... If you read his book fantastic feluda and pro shonku... You will find his work is ahed of that time... In present if someone make film on this I'll like to watch It....
