      No worries. Stay tuned for future mods and videos! Also, I highly recommend getting one. Quite a fun and amazing car.

      @@Aerowolfofficial for sure! Are you happy with your choice of an automatic or do you wish you had gotten a manual? Having trouble making this decision as it will be my daily driver.

      @Gavin Clark I can't say I regret it. I miss the manual since I came from one, but I'm not crazy over it. I enjoy the car with the auto, especially as a daily. The manual, however, would be more fun on spirited drives. Clutching in and hitting that perfect shift is always going to be better.
      At the same time, spirited driving the auto is also a lot of fun, and the sound of the transmission with an aftermarket exhaust is really nice. It's probably not possible to get the same sound with a manual (I could be wrong about this one, but I never heard anyone do it).
      The auto is also very quick. Not that the car is built on being quick, but around corners, it's quick and fun in auto, too.
      Choose what's best for you and try to take notes from everyones opinions. You will get a lot of biased drivers who say, "Manual is the only way with a sports car," but it's not true for every car.

      @@Aerowolfofficial thanks so much for the in depth response! Everyone I talk to keeps telling me to get a manual however I am going off to college here soon and know there will be a lot of stop and go traffic. I also fear that being a soon to be college student I may find myself in some situations on a night out where I don’t need to drive and need someone else to drive my car but they wouldn’t be able to if I get a manual. (Almost no one around me knows how to drive a manual.) And I really don’t want that to become a issue. Thanks so much once again for taking the time to respond it’s great to hear from someone who isn’t biased.

      @Gavin Clark I understand you, bro. One of the reasons why I even ordered an auto in the first place was so my wife can drive whenever she needs to in an emergency situation. While your situation is different, it's basically similar because we both need someone else to be able to drive the car when needed.
      I just hope whatever you choose will be the right one for you and you'll enjoy it. Neither is a mistake.
      And no worries. If you have any questions, especially ones I can make videos on, let me know. I'll try to answer them.

    Thanks man! Really cleared up a lot of things I was wondering about the system.

      No worries :) It's nothing crazy but it's useful in some situations. Just be careful with pre-collision. It is weird sometimes, as I mentioned in the video. Other than that, everything is quite basic.

    The button on the right side of your steering wheel (a road w/lines through the middle) is your toggle to tell Eyesight how much space to leave between you and the car in front.

      Awesome info 👌🏻 I tried to look it up before making this video, but I didn't even know how to name the symbol. Thanks!

      @KhanFyused Рік тому +1

      @@Aerowolfofficial I don't remember the symbol's real name either. I saw it described in other Eyesight instruction videos. A few Subaru dealers made them to show how the adaptive cruise tech works in other cars - Crosstrek, Impreza, etc.

      @Richard Burkhart I checked those Subaru promotional videos or whatever, but I couldn't find it. Its alright now anyways. Tahnks for letting me know!

    I hate the precollison braking tbh, It has come on before when it didn't need to. and almost created a crash by someone rear ending me, close call lol

    • @Aerowolfofficial
      @Aerowolfofficial  Рік тому

      Yup, that's what happened to me the first time. Without the rear ending part but it could definitely happen. It isn't very great, but I still keep it on just in case. Earlier today, as I write this, I was driving and came to a stop. I was about to inch forward, but my car beeped, saying there's an obstacle ahead. I wasn't even that close... Eyesight is odd sometimes.

    Thanks for sharing the info, Bro. I just ordered the auto BRZ as well. I personally want the manual one, but since I bought this for my wife for her daily driving, which basically lots of heavy traffic, therefore the auto will be the wiser decision. So I gotta know how this Eye Sight works which she will be dealing with on daily basis.

    • @Aerowolfofficial
      @Aerowolfofficial  Рік тому +1

      No worries, man! Hopefully, the video helps explain Eyeisght a little bit. It's a nice safety feature, but the pre-collision system may need some work from Subaru. It works, but sometimes it kicks in when it doesn't need to. Otherwise, it's good. She will enjoy the car it's quite fun. I do miss the manual while driving it, but the auto is exceptionally good.

      @@Aerowolfofficial Thanks for the response, Bro. By the way, what do you think about its gearbox when you drive for fun on back roads? Do you use the paddle shift, or leave it on full auto? I am hoping those paddle can shift responsively and fun to use.

    • @Aerowolfofficial
      @Aerowolfofficial  Рік тому +1

      @Galuh Richata I will make an updated video on the transmission and how I feel about it soon. Also, some of the sweet sounds. But I'll answer your question.
      One amazing thing about the auto is the transmission sound. You can only hear it with an aftermarket exhaust, but damn it sounds so good. If you ever driven a dual clutch, Audi or Hyundai, it sounds somewhat similar. (Can't compare dual clutch in terms of performance by no means. Just sound).
      I don't spirit drive in auto mode. Ever. I find manual mode is the way to go. I also don't use paddles all too much. I use the gear shifter in manual mode. It feels more responsive, and overall, I used to drive a manual, so my hand is naturally in that position.
      Put the car manual, track mode, and then Sport, all at the same, and you'll get the best performance out of it. It's fun.

    I agree with everything you said in this video. The tech is useful for emergency situations, which is what you want. You can turn things off if you don't like it, so no complaints from me.

      lol I just ordered a 24 and didn’t even realize it comes with it in manual now, kind of annoyed. From what I’ve seen you can’t permanently turn it off but I could be wrong.
