    Dude! You really knocked this project out of the park. I love all the aesthetic choices you made (blinkers, headlight, taillights, mirrors, shorty exhaust, exhaust wrap, rear fender, license plate mount, etc...). You turned this ladies bike into a real badass looking machine, that any guy would be proud to be seen on. My sister bought one of these last week and it sounds awful stock. Your shorty exhaust looks amazing and sounds so mean (with or without the baffle) in a good way.

    I have dead Chinese Suzuki copy in my garden. If your actually interested it’s a Lexmoto valiant. I was pondering what to do with it and I landed on bobber so I’m really glad I found these videos. You have done a nice job here and it sounds awesome.

    Crazy man, you put up high the savage name with this build. At first i was like, oh no don't ruin a perfect bike. But your "less is more" mentality really transformed this bike to a better version of it. You rock sir!

    Your S40 build looks great miles better than stock. Like your chopped off back end.
    Your m/c helmets fantastic pity it's not legal in the UK. Great video.

    Awesome build, you have given me inspiration to mod my s40. The only thing I would change is to a dark brown seat, would really set it off.

  • @LC-jo8zm
    @LC-jo8zm 3 роки тому

    Yaaaa. I’m going to build my s40 into a bobber over the fall I think. Just change out the handle bars and mirrors. Seat, back fender, shocks, and new tires etc. This is easy to do and I’m gnna keep my little Suzuki for over another year until I get my M license and then I’ll sell it for what I bought it for or probably more tbh. I just had a light accident with it last Saturday in a rainstorm and my back tire locked coming to a stop sign....tried to catch it and I did but then it went the other way and I couldn’t control it anymore....almost broke my foot and hurt my leg and arm but the bike is fine. Broke the mirror clean off where the brake fluid reservoir is...tail light, and bent the hell out of the brake lever but I fixed all the but the mirror. Tiny dent in the gas tank but I’m hst gnna strip the paint, push the dent out and paint it a nice deep gray colour - turn it into a Bobber for next season. This one is tastefully done. Similar to what I have in mind. It’s not hard to do at all.

    Don't know if you're still active on this video, but I was wondering about the rear blinkers. I have the same bike and blinkers, but I can't seem to make them stay on as running lights. Are the ones you used light bulbs or LEDs? Mine are LEDs and I believe the wires are attached correctly, but once I attach the wire for the blinker, the running lights turn off. Any thoughts? Thanks.

    • @Mrgoodnewsman
      @Mrgoodnewsman  6 років тому

      Originally the turn signals are separate from tail light but now you are trying to put turn signals, running light and brake light in one bulb, in order for it to work I used tail light converter m.autozone.com/trailer-wiring-and-electrical/tail-light-converter/curt-tail-light-converter/750288_0_0?location= hope that helps.

    Very good job! My congratulations, of all the videos I've seen on bobbers from afar yours was the best, most faithful and complete.
    The only thing I would add would be the colors, I think it worked harder with black which ended up hiding the details of your project. Maybe if you had worked for example: with a black face on the side of the fuel tank and the bumper and in the center of it would put a shiny black with silver edges, would be perfect.
    But other than that, your project is perfect! Congratulations!!!!

      Vlad Znovets you used the stock muffler and put a silencer in it?

    • @Mrgoodnewsman
      @Mrgoodnewsman  7 років тому

      I removed stock muffler, welded a 1.5" diameter by 8" long piece of pipe to the stock pipe, inserted a silencer in it, then i took a cars exhaust and cut out a piece of pipe from it that's 3.5" in diameter and installed it over the 1.5"pipe that I welded with a silencer, so now i have 1.5" pipe that has a silencer in it inside of 3.5" pipe
