I'm not sure about that. At some point, they become too old and have little value as prostitutes. Their traffickers will look for new and younger victims. I have no idea, but I imagine they kill them so they can't identify their captors. I've also heard they get them hooked on drugs to make them more dependent and complacent. By the time their "career" as a prostitute is up, they are so screwed up from years of drugs, they don't even have an interest in their former life, sadly. I remember hearing a story a while ago about a smart, bright, young girl who was trafficked. She was ultimately found, but returned to her life of prostitution and drugs.

However it is suspected to be a kind of transit point for certain things given its proximity to certain countries and it has probably less restricted connections back and forth with the US because it's generally considered safe (very little gun crime etc) Drugs aren't usually sold there, for example, but they might pass through there. Although technically she went missing on Curacao, the neighboring island, not Aruba.

I first saw this story back in 2004.. about 4 years after I left the cruise ship (Carnival Destiny) in 2000. I practically fell off my chair when I heard Yellows name. I knew him on Destiny. He was a scary guy. I will try to make this story short and to the point. I was working as youth staff in Camp Carnival on the ship. In early 2000 I was drugged by 3 crew members, two of which I thought were friends (Shawn & Lincoln) The next thing I remember I was in a crew cabin on deck 0 with these 3 guys. I started to feel scared and I could feel myself starting to pass out. I had never even taken Tylenol so I knew something was wrong at that moment. I said I needed to leave, they told me to just relax and lay down I’d be fine. I said no, I need to leave... one guy was blocking the door the other two were now standing trying to get me to lay on the bunk. I just kept saying I have to go. After what felt like 20mins but probably only 3 mins the guy blocking the door (Lincoln) finally said to the other guys “fine let’s let her go” he opened the door. I took two steps out of the cabin and my face hit the floor. I was unconscious for three days. Thankfully I had been found by my boyfriend and his cabin mate within seconds of me passing out. They dragged me to their cabin where I spent three days unconscious and safe.
My bf had explained to me that he knew of Yellow, Lincoln, Shawn and a bunch of others were apart of some very shady dealings. I had seen some things first hand but was quite green and didn’t think it was real. There is so much more to this story.
The Cruise Ship industry is shady and scary. Bands and other entertainers, staff, crew change ships. I believe that after Amy went missing Yellow moved ships and came to Carnival. I believe he was apart of me being drugged and a few other situations trying to get me off the ship alone in ports.
I believe that Amy was taken by staff and or crew.
My heart goes out to the Bradley’s.

Isn't it very strange that the head-waiter asked her out to go to Carlo's & Charlie's?
The same place where Nathalie Holloway went to B4 she dissapeared. Well actually last place she had been with the 3 guys after getting in the car with them, drunk out of her mind.
In ARUBA... I saw it in another documentary about Amy.
I think they took her when they were in Aruba, kept her somewhere on the boat (hidden place) & when they disembarked in Curaçao, they took her onto the island.
Nobody would have noticed within the crowd, desimbarking about 3000 people.... She definatly got sold into human trafficking. And they actually planned it in Aruba, but because she declined to go out,
    they changed the plan.
The base-player and her were drinking all night as well.
Got her drunk so she would be impaired & took her.
I think they did the same with Nathalie Holloway. 😢

I went on a cruise a few years back when I was 17 with my grandparents, a couple of their friends and one of their friend's son who I was friends with. I never went anywhere without one of my grandparents or my friend. We had rooms right next to each other and had the barrier between our balconies down. If I was with my friend that day we would meet on the balcony and exit through one of our rooms, so neither of us had to be alone in the hallway at all.
I hope this case is solved someday.

Like how Natalie Wood was deathly afraid of water and ended up drowning. Or how Kyron Horman's worst fear was not being able to find his way home, and he's said to be lost in those woods behind his school somewhere. And now this young lady, being terrified of boats and then goes missing on a damn cruise ship. It's so scary to think about and it makes me feel so bad for them. What a horrible way to go.

If the captain and crew refused to raise awareness, my family and I would make the biggest scene so that people started talking and the word got out. If there’s ever a situation where a meltdown is warranted, it’s exactly this one.
It could get enough people talking and looking that the perps would be scared to transport her off the ship. The general populous is pretty relentless and powerful when they’re given a common cause, esp one that involves someone’s safety. I think the passengers would have done everything in their power to find her if given the information. God it’s infuriating what the crew did.

I always wondering with all of these videos, what would it be like in their shoes at the moment? What are they doing? When I think about that, it's always so haunting.

Agree. I love her opinions on them as well, rather than just reading from a list.
