Plus some Jedi highly respect him. He probably saved a Jedi healer during clone wars. So he could ask one of them a favor to get a healing crystal of fire. And if the Jedi healer can't help him, then he can always just buy a Healing Crystal of Fire from the black market😒. It's not super complicated.
To be fair, they were the only ones who learned a damn thing from Kreia and focused on skills besides "be good with the Force" and "be good with laser sword." That alone already makes them more powerful and dangerous than half the High Council.

The Sentinels were powerful and effective specifically because they weren't active warriors or passive mystics. Sentinels specialized in the indirect and unorthodox. Where a Guardian might break down a locked door, or a Consular might use the Force to open the door, a Sentinel would instead pick the lock and close the door behind him as he left. They would use hacking to get through computer systems, blasters to handle distant foes, stealth to evade battles that didn't need to be fought, and would generally take advantage of anything that would help them in their mission to preserve the balance. To put it in RPG terms: the Guardians were the warriors or paladins who would take the fight to the Armies of Darkness and would stand in open view to inspire the people of the city, and the Consulars were the mages and clerics, healing the wounded and using their advanced abilities to guide battles or overwhelm the enemy. The Sentinels, meanwhile, were the rangers and rogues, the ones who would stay in the background as spies, who would sabotage the enemy's siege engines and supply chains, and who would stand as the night's watchmen against crime or treachery.

Ah, yes, Consulars a.k.a. the Mage/Diplomat class of the Old Jedi Order of the KotOR duology. They're also my fave class of the duology, primarily due to their increased success rates at persuading, not to mention the increased dialogue choices at the most opportune moments. Gotta acquire more Star Wars lore bits in the games, you know, for knowledge's sake and to impress friends and family.
Some Jedi Consulas being the most devastating combatants despite being the least likely to engage in it kind of helps with all of their overall mission. After all - If you are in the middle of a negotiation with one of them mediating it, and have heard that the last lot who tried to put a blaster in the seemingly unassuming mystic monk's head all ended up having to get new arms, you are less likely to shoot the diplomat and just focus on the negotiating at hand. Cause not shooting the messenger is always a good, polite, and respectful idea. Not shooting the diplomat is an even better one, especially when said diplomat can if push comes to show bring down an entire mountain with mysterious powers beyond your comprehension, and wields a plasma sword that can send things shot at them flying back to their source.

The Dark Side was clouding the vision of the Jedi at that time. Yoda himself said so and so did Count Dooku in Attack of the Clones. Though some Jedi did kind of see -something- coming but not exactly what that was... just that a great darkness was about to be cast over the entire galaxy. It's the whole reason Syfo-Dias wanted to raise an army to defend the Republic. Yoda also had a vision on Dagobah while he was off on that quest that the spirit of Qui-Gon Jinn sent him on.
Indeed, Jedi seers were viewed as unreliable and potentially dangerous by the time of the Clone Wars (considering the actions of the Jedi Covenant and its First Watchcircle, who could blame the High Council for being skeptical/cautious regarding visions of the future)
