2023 -- You need to make your way to new york city, there's at least 15 bands that deliver like this... like this but NOT this. One band is The Mystery Lights.
Methinks by the end of this epic, sweaty, sleazy distillation of pure rock n' roll, the punters walked away that nite with a pretty good idea that they'd seen something almost religiously transcendent. This show rock n' roll at its finest; a religious epiphany for the Godless rebels & misfits everywhere. It's a thing of rare Beauty. 🦃⚡🎸💥😵🦃
Bon had a voice and a singing style that will never be duplicated again. He greatly complimented those screaming guitars on every song he sang. It's an absolute shame that the world will never ever know just how much great music he was destined to make if that terrible night had never happened
Cliff is just perfect for AC/DC. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Mark Evans but Cliff is just way more technical and tight. Even Mark himself has said that Williams was the right guy for the band.
Mark played on their best stuff...in my opinion... nothing against Cliff...he played on some great stuff too....I'm only talking about songs with Bon ...not interested in anything he did with Brian...😐

This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Like seriously, what the hell happened to bands like this? There needs to be a rock band that kicks this much ass again.
@1:03 I mean really. Who struts like this anymore? Who gets out there and get's a groove on. I hope Rock is in just a hibernation. And when it awakes..Oh! look out!!

hell yeah, but Rory Gallagher equals them when it comes to live performances. Look up "Rory Gallagher - Bullfrog Blues" and click on the live version with the most views, you'll know what I mean :-)
Malcolm ALWAYS had a badass guitar tone. When I listen to AC/DC, more often than not I seem to find myself focusing more on Malcolm and that rock solid rhythm. Angus is good and he and Bon were always the life of the show, but Malcolm was the true driving force behind AC/DC. It was HIS band.
@False Email Both of them always sounded awesome. I’m just more of a Malcolm fan. It’s a unique sound in my opinion. And the two of them both had their own tone. But together they make one big great guitar, still being able to tell them apart of course.
@Bad Boys Boogie Yea no doubt it was Malcolm's idea to make a band, but he chose Angus for a reason. It was both Angus and Malcolm's child to raise. It's like Malcolm had a baby without a mother and chose Angus to be the fun uncle of it. That's what Angus is, the fun uncle, and Malcolm is the working father. He knew Angus could play lead like no one else, and could not have found a better lead player if he tried. AC/DC wouldn't be what it is without Angus at all. As you and me have seen, they have survived without Phil or Cliff, but would not ever be the same without Malcolm and Angus. It is both their band, not just Malcolm's or Angus. Stevie does a great job playing the rhythm guitar, but I doubt he could come up with a riff as good as Malcolm could. That just proves it ain't the same without Malcolm. Power up was just a bunch of riffs Malcolm and Angus worked on between Stiff Upper Lip and Black Ice. I doubt when they run out of those riffs in between those years, that they'll keep going or make anything half as good, unless Angus really watched Malcolm.. and kept how he made riffs in his memory.. In Malcolm's words, "Angus is a hot player".

Now people are finally discovering the original DC with Bon, that is the real AC/DC. Try PowerAge or Highway to Hell, Bons 2 best albums in my opinion by far. Brian J. is good and did the band justice, in which was actually a Bon request if he died, Bon knew of BJ and liked him. Bon is always the best in my view and I wish him RIP, and hope to see him on the other side. By the way for those who are so ignorant, Highway to Hell was about their tour days at a point in time that was literally hell, they called it the Highway to hell in which they came up with the album, "Highway to Hell" It was not originally written about hell, just came out that way as fun more or less being the resistance and all, a rebel thing possibly, but it was not about what it sounds like they explain what it was about.
+Warren552011 Well no technically not, but really yes he is. Dave Evans was their first singer but he didn't last but like a year. Malcolm & Angus being the band owners let him go & when they found Bon, he was the guy they wanted, Bon was AC/DC and they kept him & considered him part of the band. Evans was more like being tried out & he didn't fit the agenda & was let go and thank god for that because we got the Bonster instead. Evans was actually a very good singer, he has a great voice just nothing like Bon, no one is much like Bon. Malcolm & Angus made a brilliant decision one that will go down in Rock legend. Yeeeeehahhhhh, Bon is the man.....
+Warren552011 Yea, a year is quite some time. Never the less I am glad they went the way they did being I do think Bon is much better, he really gave DC that unique sound. Evans has a more typical voice, great voice but just more typical. Bon on the other hand was much more unique. You freaken dooog, you saw Bon DC, man you are so lucky, couldn't even imagine. That must be one heck of a memory. Yea there's a video of him with the boys, maybe that was the Australian gig you speak of. I had money down on Zepplin tickets back in 1979 or 80 & suddenly mister Bonham dies. Damn him and Bon went right around the same time, the heavens where awarded some great musicians. Guess the heavens needed a great singer & drummer, lol... They left us with some great tunes, RIP.....
+Warren552011 I heard some where Bon was their bus driver & that was where they knew him from & one thing led to another & they brought him aboard, not sure where I heard this from. I just looked it up & it seems you are right, cool more knowledge of DC, love it! Here's the web site I found, seems like a pretty decent run down of Bon's history. I don't usually believe the first thing I hear or see but trusting what you say & seeing it on this web site it seems to be true, I'll likely look at it closer later, I need to bail right now. Cool chatten with yea bro, speak at you later!! Long live DC !!!!!
We used to watch them on the national broadcaster ABC on countdown in Australia, whatever song came on that Sunday night all the kids would be singing at school the next day.
There never be anyone like bon again..... impossible....he would still be rocking at 73 yrs old....people realizing just how great he was....40 yrs later he is still huge.....rocknroll exemplified!!!
When I saw them open for Aerosmith at the Long Beach Arena for the Poweage tour, they completely stole the show! I had floor seats and got splashed by Angus's sweat when he was on a roadie's shoulders going through the audience. I was blown away! They weren't listed on the billing or any promotions, and when I asked everyone after the show who they were, no one knew. It was on the way home that I heard a commercial for Powerage on KMET and recognized the music. I told my girlfriend, "That's the kick ass band we just saw!" I immediately bought every import album and cassette available and turned my buddies on to them. What a great memory. It was 45 years ago, and I remember it like it was yesterday, with rocking energy like no other band since.
This was on Wednesday 25 Oct, the band were flown in from Paris to do the gig.... XTC played on the 28th. Met the bands, still got the autographs. One of the best gigs I've ever been to.

+Warren552011 Sorry, forgot the web site, here it is - www.bonscott.com.au/bonsstory.htm

We used to watch them on the national broadcaster ABC on countdown in Australia, whatever song came on that Sunday night all the kids would be singing at school the next day.
War 1978 beim ersten Konzert in Deutschland dabei,Kant-Kino Berlin, seit dem hab ich sie noch 4 mal live gesehen, immer klasse. Gruss M.O.
Authentic Rock legends, with his frontman bad boy, the great singer Bon Scott, the most important Hard Rock band of all time.

I would be going NUTS at that concert! What an absolutely rocking band.
dirty deeds done dirt cheap
Now that's Rock and Roll Bitches ! How we partied back in the day.
Born on 10/29/78!!!! These fellas were tearing up the stage as I was on my way into the World.

Es gibt wenige Lieder mit Brian Jonsen die mir gefallen. Aber alle Lieder mit Bon Scott sind für mich am besten.
To not only play the guitar with that skill but to play the guitar with that energy also makes Angus one of the greatest
The one, The only Bon Scott.
angus'z lead is so good in this
This was on Wednesday 25 Oct, the band were flown in from Paris to do the gig.... XTC played on the 28th. Met the bands, still got the autographs. One of the best gigs I've ever been to.
