- When presenting Google Slides in a Zoom meeting, you might be missing your speaker notes, you might want to see the participants, or the chat room. This video will show you how to be in presentation mode with Google Slides and still access your necessary windows and take advantage of your screen real estate.

I was searching for how to share my presentation on zoom, but not my notes. I just wanted the class to see my presentation while making my notes only visible to myself so I could give a smooth presentation. Thank you so much for this! It definitely showed me how!

@@TabaldoonTech Please help! I am presenting to a group of teachers tomorrow morning. After watching the video, I tried to do the same with my presentation but I had some difficulty. You mention the little icon that looks like a bracket next to a wheel but I dont see it on my screen. Please advise
Hope it’s not too late. There are 3 dots (like a snowman) in a menu that disappears in the bottom left corner. Click those and you will get a pop up menu that has the full screen option.

Excellent video! I have an interactive google slide that I want to screenshare. To do that I have to use it in presenter mode. But when I do that on zoom it seems to make the slide static or not interactive. Also is there a way to not show the tab at the top of the GS. Or am I seeing that and the student doesn't?
Thanks for the compliment. Can you tell me more about what you mean by interactive slide?
If you share a presentation And POP out of full screen, the Google browser tabs will be visible to the audience. I find this helpful when switching back and forth in and out of a presentation.
@@TabaldoonTech I have a similar question about live hyperlinks in Google Slides. So I have hyperlinks on my slide that I want students to click on during a Zoom meeting. Is this possible?

Unfortunately no, the only way I have found to see my participants is I have to be in full screen present and the click participants gallery on a separate screen. Dual monitors needed
Hello thank you for the info.... I do have a question... when I show the Google slideshow presentation and make it full screen are the participants able to see me or just my slides?
Great question. They see your slides and usually a video of you is somewhere on their screens. (Top or side depending on what they are viewing on and how big their screen is.) hope that helps.

Speaker notes only shows the next slide. I need to skip some slides for some classes. Any ideas?
Hello. I have my 1st Zoom as a Host presentation next week. It is scheduled and I invited a few friends just so we could get together during this pandemic and so I could test out my 1st Zoom. Today i went into Goodle slides and did a fun presentation but how do I get those slides over to my Zoom (Google calendar?) If anyone knows the answer I'd appreciate your help.
Hopefully this will help. You will need to “Share your screen” in Zoom (bottom green share button) and select the Chrome browser where your presentation is open. Be sure to select the appropriate audio check box before you hit share if there is audio in your presentation. Once sharing the screen, you can hit the present button in Google Slides. Then you can exit from full screen, like I showed in this video, if you need to, so you can see notes or the screens of the attendees. I hope that helps. Best of luck on your Zoom.
I have tried to make this work for 2-3 hours but have failed. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or maybe Google Presentation or Zoom has changed since you made the video, but the date on your video is only a few weeks ago. Does this still work? If so, is it possible for you to write down the sequence you are using? Thanks.

Same for me when I exit full screen mode, it also exits for participants too...
@@rochria Thanks - I am looking into this in settings, I also use 2 monitors so that helps too. I’m working on a new video to help with presenting views.
