This was really interesting - I hadn't heard about the beta feature to use the PPT as a virtual background. I use a green screen which eliminates the disappearing body parts so this beta option could potentially work for me. I'll have to give it a try. I also liked that you included some attendees - it's helpful to see your screen look like my screen looks. Thanks for this video.

Hmm - you can share multiple windows at once, but I'm not sure if you can share a window and the whiteboard simultaneously. However, why not just leave some blank space on the Powerpoint slides and do all the writing directly in Powerpoint? That way you have everything in a single document if you want to export the notes. (that is what I do for my lectures)
Excellent Video tips that I can use right away, like.......tomorrow! I need to know how to add co-hosts as I teach with several presenters within the class period. We need to hand off the "HOSTING" and the presenting to eachother.
Zoom has a multi-spotlight feature: ua-cam.com/video/RZIn9AxSRrU/v-deo.html but I forget how it works if you spotlight someone else while you are sharing your screen. You might have to suggest that participants go into "side by side" mode (click the view button in the upper right and select side by side). Then they will be able to see the shared screen and the spotlighted speaker roughly 50/50. If they are in default speaker view, they shared screen will be large and the thumbnail of the spotlighted speaker will be small.
Not everybody can keep up with your firehose-like delivery. When you got to the point where you were talking about swapping monitors, I was trying to follow you because I have encountered this problem. So you say, "Go up here..." but I got lost. FYI if you think a video is going too fast, you can adjust the playback speed using the settings button in the UA-cam play bar at the bottom of the video to play it at 0.75x, 0.5x, or 0.25x speed. If you let me know the specific timestamp in the video you're referring to, I can check. This video is over a year old so there's a chance the Zoom interface has updated.
i have a Zoom presentation this week, how can I practice a dry run on Zoom? obviously I can't practice on the actual zoom invite, because I have never done this before and I can't tell the company I don't know how to present via Zoom. Any tips on how to practice on a zoom room? can you sent me a zoom invite just to practice? thank you
Anyone can start a meeting using the free version of Zoom, you don't need someone else to send an invite. If you want to get a feel for what it's like with multiple people in the meeting, you can ask some family or friends to join or join from extra computers/phones if you have them available. Hi - I'm not familiar with SPSS at all, but I have heard that animations in Powerpoint do not work very well. I think this is an issue with Zoom's frame rate when screen sharing.
