Wow! That was amazing! How they managed to not cripple each other is incredible. Physical comedy gold! I think Dick van Dyke,John Ritter,Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin would of all been laughing hard whole watching this skit.
Despite what some of the commenters have to say, that there is a lot of talent. To do all of that without editing, believe me, that's really difficult.
Probably a week, same as Saturday Night Live, though rehearsal days most likely started on Tuesday or Wednesday. It could have been shorter than that. And the other guy is Mark Blankfield, who also did physical comedy on the show, but Michael Richards took it to strange, new places (on both this show and Seinfeld).
Always, liked "Fridays". Thought it was better than SNL. Michael Richards is one of the best...so was Mark Blankenship who is a teacher now. His Pharmacist skits are hilarious.
This show was a bit before my time but as someone who thought Mark Blankfield was vastly underrated and has seen every episode of Seinfeld, I'll say right here that if Blankfield, Michael Richards and Larry David had done a movie together right after Fridays, possibly scripted by David, they all would have become breakout stars right then and there.
I'd like to bring the comments back to the comedic aspects of this sketch and not give a dissertation on chiropractic's safety- our gifted and ballsy actors who were dedicated to bringing this audience to tears were not making a statement on the safety of medicine! This was just no-holds-barred comedy. A sadomasochistic chiropractor with a foot fetish! Funny. This looked like it was rehearsed for months! Their abilities and balls are a lesson to all actors.
I'm looking for the "men who hug" sketch from Fridays with Larry David & Michael Richards. It would be great to see again; I have it somewhere in my Beta archives and will eventually post it here, but just htought I'd ask anyway. Thanks
That was really - something... Amazing physical work, but what was it really about? Someone have a nightmare experience at their chiropractor? Some funny moments, but mostly, I guess I just don't get it. Maybe it's the idea of having my head between Michael Richards's legs...
OMG, what a phenomenal bit of physical comedy!

If that isn't some of the best physical comedy, I don't know what is!
This is probably top 5 of the best physical comedy acts of all times.
Wow!!! I actually remember that when it first aired. Boy I feel old. But it was still as funny as it was back then. Great stuff.

You don’t see comedy talent like this
anymore !
IS GOOD
Back when comics risked life and limb for a laugh.
A fine chiropractor; he graduated in the top 5% of his class at the Josef Mengele Chiropractic College.
i;ll never forget andy kaufmans melt down and michael richards getting up -leaving the scene and returning with the cue card which he handed to andy .
That is some awesome physical comedy right there boy!
Michael and Mark at there very best.. The two kings of slapstick...
Incredible choreography
Amazing - these guys must have been so fit to do all these stunts.
Chiropractor for 14 years - never quite used this technique, lol!
*Brilliant* physical comedy by a young Michael Richards and some other guy. Just how much did they rehearse that routine?!?! Wow! Amazing work.

Love you Michael. Best tv comic ever!!
Two of the best modern day physical comedians ever no doubt about it Blankenship and Richards very similar
Is it weird that I watch this for ASMR?
Those two would do anything and I meant ANYTHING for a laugh. I felt truly afraid they'd kill each other prepping for this sketch.
I seriously have to do my inhaler after this. Good thing my bladder was empty before watching.

Hell no lol.
i watched this and it's so funny!!!
I can't watch this without thinking of Kramer!
Although there a few legit chiropractors out there, some really are this crazy.
Blankfield and Richards said on the DVD they came up with this on their day off. You can tell because there’s no way this was scripted by a staff.
Damn! Impressive.
Nardozza is actually the maiden name of Michael Richards' mother.
“Yes, izz good.”
great physical comedy!!!
That looked so damn painful!
"Yes... is good."

Ditto. Chiropractic is perhaps the greatest and safest health care delivery system in the world. CHIROPRACTIC!!
There's pain, yes, it's good!
I want to know why Fridays isn't available on DVD... Hmmmm???
@PsychoNekoSan "And not a lot of drugs involved either"? Amen!
lol kramer the chiropractor

say thanks a lot for the tips you have discussed here.Do you offer free consultation?
The way chiropractic should be minus the hanging upside-down part and being thrown out the window part now and days they just use fancy gizmos... lol.
is there anymore of these out there?
How did they do all that?!
wait a minute is that kramer? hah
Yes
funny! ha! ha!
@lerxt42 And...? Chiropractic Now!
That was really - something... Amazing physical work, but what was it really about? Someone have a nightmare experience at their chiropractor? Some funny moments, but mostly, I guess I just don't get it. Maybe it's the idea of having my head between Michael Richards's legs...
Is the chiropractor Kramer?
Yes....Michael Richards before Seinfeld
2:12 ouch wwf style
Almost funny. Definitely interesting. And the physical gymnastics extremely impressive.
Not one of my proudest faps...
He needed a Chiropractor after this sketch . LOL
