Thanks for the video! TR roadmap is absolutely amazing as it gives us an overview of the entire province. From the warring Nord clans of the northwest (remnants of First Era invaders), Malahk orcs in their isolated valley in the Velothi mountains, to the jungles and plantations of the mysterious Dres in the south and all the stuff between, province of Morrowind will be so much fun to explore. But for now, I'm excited to see a completion of House Hlaalu with the two upcoming updates and having a player's home by that lake.
Thank you for this overview! Some comments: - The Redoran twin cities are not abandoned. They're just in a bad shape due to being poor. In fact, they are ancient and predate the existence of House Hlaalu. In the past, House Redoran occupied all the lands from the border with Skyrim to the banks of Thirr river. But the war with Imperials weakened it, and the Armistice between Tiber Septim and Vivec created an opportunity for nascent House Hlaalu to expand and take land from the Redorans. Only the twin citadels of Ald Iuval and Ald Marak remained standing after much of Dunmer population turned to Hlaalu. - Wealth Beyond Measure will also include the town of Andrethis and its surrounding exteriors. They were merged into one release. - The reason why Redoran lands have fewer Pois is because those lands are not yet planned out to the level of the released areas. They will have the same amount of points of interest, which includes not only settlements but also dungeons.
I also hope that due to a fewer large urban areas, Redoran maps will require less development time. As long as we have Blacklight as the only true large city in the western Morrowind, I'll be happy! I'd imagine Velothis district as more rustic and open compared to southern areas.
@@boreanknight it's progressing really well. The city of Veranis is already finished exterior-wise. We will start developing interiors for it pretty soon I expect. And several days ago our ext devs has stepped in on the territory of Grey Meadows - the Redoran region north of Clambering Moor. The one where the city of Silgrad will be.
42:30 this is using scene in the usual sense, not in whatever technical TESV meaning--it's just a group of NPCs standing around afaik. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing people check out Crystal Scissure once we get the Firemoth update out! I had a lot of fun making that dungeon and I hope people enjoy it.
Just started playing Morrowind week ago after only playing Skyrim and it's amazing, I feel like apart from graphics everything is superior in Morrowind, the only thing I dislike is how levelling works, I know I don't have to min max but still, if I don't get 3 times +5 attributes on a level up I just feel bad. It's amazing this game is still getting mods and such big mods. Tbh I don't understand projects like Skywind, I mean I have respect for modders that are working on it but I would much rather play Skyrim on Morrowind engine.
There are some good alternate levelling mods on Morrowind Nexus. I've learned to just accept the weird levelling up bonuses, and when in seems really off I "cheat fair" by using the console to increase one attribute and maybe decrease another (or maybe just decreasing the levelling bonus from one and giving it to another.) Mostly I use Adjustable Skill Progression to SLOW levelling so I can extend a particular character's savegame file & play time.
@@Rockah0lic I want my first playthrough to be pure vanilla but in future when trying project tamriel i will definitely use a mod that slows progress too.
Under sun and moon outlander, we greet you warmly. I understand that it feels like it sucks even you miss the 5+ on levelling, but it honestly isn't necessary. You can become a god even with mediocre 2+ every now and then. As the world doesn't level with you, except for a few encounters, you will become among the strongest on the island as long as you continue to level up, find good gear and carry a few tricks up your sleeve. Best of luck and have fun!
@@almastidyatlov9641 thank you! Yeah I think I will just try to get at least 1 or 2 +5, because it's just too tiresome go get 3 by just leveling skills, and trainers cost too much money right now. I really enjoy this game, reminds me when I was a kid playing Gothic. I think both those games were released around the same time so maybe that's why.
The writing in the update posts is so good. Whoever is writing them is crazy intelligent lol. They just used the word "foci"...... i mean, i know what that means (it's the plural form of "focus") - but who actually USES that word? lololol
It's kind of a braggy thing to say, but I've met a lot of really smart people in this fandom. People with a serious interest in history and anthropology way beyond "Rome was cool, yo". I read some fanfiction once which was basically a Nibenese woman dunking on her Colovian friend for a weird political cycle they have where the Nibeneans invent some cultural tradition, it spreads to Colovia, and they go "Ahh, good ol' tradition" while whining about Nibenay for moving on to something else. On and on. It felt very fitting and the author completely made it up. Then there's the guy who keeps arguing, successfully IMO, that High Rock should take inspiration from greek city-states (without dropping the medieval western Europe thing) because that's what it's political landscape actually resembles. Make the questing obsession like hoplites vying for citizenship, constant minor wars for the same reason (and plain old rivaly), the brainy walled cities full of wizard-philosophers and lowlands teeming with shepards and wayward nature spirits.

Firewatch sewers! If Old Ebonheart is any clue to the quality of this, I can't wait!

The project is still ongoing?!? I was at school when it began and it was too ambitious to even think that the project will be completed at any point.
Love your overviews of these!
Glad you enjoy these!

Do we have an ETA for Naris and Anvil?
Anvil hopefully within month. Until the end of the year for sure. Narsis will come 2 - 3 months after that. Both releases are really really huge.
Realistically Anvil by the end of the year and Narsis some time during next year
