A great reminder that quality studio work, requires a lot of knowledge and practice. May appear to be easy, but only if you have perfected technique, understand lighting and have a range of creative props at your disposal. Great video from an excellent photographer and teacher!

Fantastic video so well explained I really enjoy your explanation. Never had a clothes hanger like this always had a wardrobe. Two of them could make a tent with white cloth I am sure I was tought this but need a proper lesson please.

I tried and tried and failed miserably the only difference ( I thought ) was I used a 105mm macro .
I could not make out if this ends up as a 3 light set up ,
6 hours and nothing .

The glass one is not traditional still life. it's just a picture of glasses. Traditional still life shows depth as well width and height.
