Knife stripping techniques - knife defense - knife fighting

Clipped from a longer video, we go through the progression of constant pressure and control to safely strip the blade. This of course only after you secured control, the hardest part.
Unadvised to grapple with a blade wielding attacker. Too many variables that can play. One of which from a third party attacker coming to help his buddy. Certain situations or professional responsibilities (LEO) may require grappling/subduing.

The most interesting part -at least in my eyes- is how to grab the arm before being stabbed. Unfortunately this is not explained any further.
Once you've pinned the arm, there are a lot of options.

Take down is not difficult which is a transition from ptk to bjj (self defense 101). Then while on the ground the technique was not complex which is what you want.

85% of knife attacks come from behind or the side with no warning. When you can tell me how to defend against that, let me know. In real knife fights the attacker does not square off, show you his knife and wait for you to get "in position." When you can show me how to prevent getting knifed in the back at a bus stop or in a coffee shop, let me know. Otherwise you are merely fraudulent.

@@edgedcombatives Oh come on. Sitting in a coffee shop patio on a main downtown street is "wrong place?" Standing at the bus stop heading home from the movies? ON THE BUS?
This situational awareness thing just means you don't have any answers.
It is not "what-iffing;" those are the FACTS.
I didn't say "what if;" I said WHAT ABOUT '85% of knife attacks come from behind or the side with no warning." This is a fact from data gathered from over 600 knife attacks.
Situational awareness is one thing; having eyes in the back of your head when you are having a cuppa with your wife and toddler or just walking down the street in the business district in the middle of the day is another thing.
I have a legitimate question and you have brushed it off (thanks for the insult) because you have no answers and you can't afford to tell your students that they ill be stabbed in the back before they can use your Bullshiho.
All you knife "experts" say the same thing because you have no answer.

@@kaoskronostyche9939 😂 there IS no answer to being blindly attacked from the back. Zero arts outside clairvoyance can predict or train the what if scenarios you dream up. I guess you are correct and zero training is the answer? 😂
