- Hitting the drag strip with Cleetus is always a good time! I was hoping to get the Datsun in the 10s, and definitely wasn't expecting him to let me drive Mcflurry! It certainly made my night.

I know Adam isn’t a drag racer but he learns quickly. 10.8 at that power to weight ratio and a manual trans is really impressive
people underestimate small cars making okish power. My buddies civic was 520whp at like 2200lbs and it was so sketchy.
Helped a buddy build a 85 gl rx7 with a 94 turbo 13b engine trans and rear end when we was at trade school and we used the 85 computer fooling it with capacitors and resistors soldered into the harness and had a aquarium valve for a boost controller made a best of just over 420hp to the wheels on Kammer&Kammers chassis dyno that little rotary hurt alot of feelings when it got traction 😁

A 1.44 60 foot time on a street tire with a manual launch, no two step, is pretty amazing. That car is a testament to the benefits of being lightweight. Well into the 10s with a clapped out transmission and less than 400 whp. Amazing.

Adam is still missing the cup on the ball that takes out the slop in the socket. The bushings he replaced do nothing to get rid of the slop.I was laughing when he was putting them in thinking they would help.

He replaced the bushing but not the spring that's in there. If he would have changed that it would probably be a lot better.

Dude, watching both these guys since the beginning has been an absolute journey. From Adam with the BMX content and Cletus working with 1320 and that infamous Camaro clip, you gentlemen have came along way and I just wanna say thank you for keep me and now my son entertained.
When I started watching I was probably 16-17 now I'm 22 with a beautiful and happy family. It's been fun and can't wait to see what's next in all our lives boys.

Ive never seen this channel before but I couldn't click on this video fast enough. We all used to own Datsun 1200s way back when, even the 1000. The beauty of them is their simplicity. The stock engine got swapped for the a14 or a15, chuck on a weber, extractors and mild cam and they ran pretty hard. They're worth a mint now. Thanks for taking me back!

That was priceless when Cleetus fell backwards in the Datsun. George laughing was so good too. That little Datsun is a gem. My wife had one new in ‘73. They had and a neutral light on them. I used to try and shift quick enough to not see the light going through the neutral gate. Don’t remember if I ever succeeded though. Great little car with a 1200 c.c. 4 banger in it. Fun video. Good to see Cooper involved too.
